David is probably going to Turkey. It's not a deployment, but it's a duty station that family can't come with to. I know it used to be that families were allowed but not anymore, and probably not at all safe for family to visit. Or maybe Korea I suppose, but I don't know why they couldn't visit in Korea.

It doesn't matter where he goes that's out of the country...lily probably won't ever be able to travel that way bc tricare won't have any doctors or specialist in that country. So she wouldn't be getting the care she needs. It's unfortunate but that's what happens when you have someone with special needs in the military. If he were to be in the United States then she could possibly find drs in the area or do like some people and just travel to a good children's hospital for important checkups. Obviously she has her set of drs already there...anyway just saying. As much as she annoys me and stuff she can't just go with him. ALSO I wish I could share with her the things she can have to support her while he's gone. There are so many programs and things she can benefit from and she's such a new military wife I feel like I could help her lol she's probably helpless anyway honestly lmao

There is no way their marriage is going to survive. Vanessa isn't strong enough and David really seems to be disconnected from her. I hope for the kids' sake that I am wrong.

I blame Davids parents. They seem to be those parents that will try to do anything to keep him and V away from each other. She, in their eyes, will never be good enough for their "baby".

I feel like davids parents are the type of people who think Vanessa is the devil for taking their precious son's virginity and resent her for making him a dad so young...basically they blame her for everything, and David will always be innocent in their eyes.

At 10:08 in the new vlog you can hear David's mom in the background say that they're going to take David back and someone (I assume David's dad) asks if they were all going and David's mom stumbles over her words - as if David would want to say goodbye to his precious mommy last and not his wife and kids.

And the look on David's face...wow.

Actually David's parents were far more welcoming to Vanessa's side of the family than Vanessa's side was to David. David's parents routinely invited Nona and Vanessa's dad as well her other relatives to spend weekends at the lake house; they invited them for Easter or Christmas Eve dinners all the time. Vanessa's Peruvian asshole relatives did not even want to meet David because they were not married; as a consequence V's grandmother never met David before she died and I fully expect none of the Peruvian relatives to ever be interested in meeting David even though V and D. are married. David's parents adore Lily (and now Charlie) and would never wish anything that would cause her suffering. And they are probably paying for the airfare and house rental and food for them and Vanessa and the kids to see David.

That pic of David and Charlie is so sweet. I feel for Vanessa. I don't agree with everything she does but I feel like a lot of her stress is postpartum induced which she probably didn't expect to happen.

I don't think joining the Air Force was actually that bad of an idea for David. It was just the timing of having Charlie that was kind of stupid and some of the other choices along the way that made this harder than it needed to be. David wasn't going anywhere in life. He wasn't going back to school, it seemed like he was working a pretty dead end job. Joining the military is a good career choice. It is a steady income with a lot of room for upward movement. The health benefits are really good. He gets the GI Bill which he can use to pay for his own education, maybe Vanessa's, or even Lily or Charlie someday. If he stays in the full 20 years. The retirement benefits are some of the best you'll ever find. And it provides structure which David seemed to lack. Where those two went wrong is they decided to bring another baby into the mix rather than waiting a bit until everything was settled for a bit. And V didn't prepare herself enough to be able to deal with David being gone. But I think a huge reason why she hasn't been dealing well is because she's got the two kids now rather than just one to focus on while adjusting to David's new career.

I can see why David's parents would encourage him to join. If they see their son isn't doing anything all the productive in life and has wanted to go in the past. And I don't thin Vanessa is inherently incapable of being a military wife. She just kind of needs to woman up. I mean stick with therapy or actually go if she is lying about that. Maybe consider some medication. Start taking care of herself. Get out of the house and do something. She could be perfectly fine if she'd stop dwelling on it and get the help she needs.

Stupid curiosity, but why are Lily's teeth like that? It's 80% gums when she smiles, and the teeth seem extremely short, almost crumbled. Neither parent has a smile like that. Wasn't sure if it had to do with turners or maybe a relative has the same.

I think the OP just meant that Vanessa's relatives never wanted David to come to Peru. I don't think they ever come to the U.S., so that's the only way they could meet him. That's just like saying "my Canadian relatives." It has nothing to do with ethnicity. Don't assume the worst of people.

Did anyone see her instagram post earlier? She posted the picture with the caption, "This. It will be crawling any day now." Then she deleted the picture and re-posted it with the caption, "This boy will be crawling any day now."

I think she just worded it poorly and meant that the crawling phase would be happening any day now. But it seriously looked like she was just calling Charlie an "it". She probably wasn't, but that's what it looked like, and she must have noticed to go to the trouble of not just editing the caption but actually deleting the picture and changing the caption.
