Previously:
-Jess's camera broke and it's unclear (yet) if she got it back in time for Lilia's birthday trip to Disneyland
-The bunch went camping, where Landen started riding his bike with no training wheels
-Amber has started vlogging regularly and we got a glimpse of a messy Skube house
-It was confirmed Chris quit his job
-Kyson and Kaden got physicals for kindergarten and Kyson has (at least) one loose tooth
-Jess and Chris did an old challenge and Addie was spotted sleeping unsafely in the background
-Gabe and Chris did a "pop quiz" type video with Lilia
-Tommy graduated kindergarten
-Jess, Chris, Lilia, and Addie went to Disneyland and I believe are still there at this time

"HE DOESN'T WANT TO GO. " Recap

Ah, a DITL again. Knew it wouldn't be long before seeing one of these again.
Jess tells the kids good morning as they're getting in the bus. Kyson and Kaden have their summer program that day, and Lilia wanted to go as well, so Jess managed to find a spot for her to go. She drops off the kids and cuts to being back home.
Jess tries and fails an English "occ-cent" while editing "her life away" on the bowling video from earlier.
Chris vlogs, he has been cleaning and playing with Landen. He opens Addie's new car seat (predictable, pink!) and talks about the extra leg room.
Jess is stunned because it's raining outside. Apparently it doesn't happen there in June and she finds it weird.
Addie is passed out sleeping near the edge of the bed...*sigh* Chris goes to get the kids from school and takes Landen.
Sponsor mention - Bubble Island 2. She's on level 27 and is "obsessed" with it. Bunch of boring stuff about the game (bubble shooters aren't my thing tbh)
Chris and Landen get to the older kids at the summer camp thing and get them home.
Kyson and Kaden are napping and Chris is playing with Addie. Jess is uploading the video she edited and having trouble naming it. Talking about how you can't be "too clickbaity" with it. #YouTuberStruggles
Kyson and Kaden wake up from their nap and Chris shoots Jess with a Nerf gun, because...maturity?
Chris takes Addie's old car seat base out and then Jess appears, and they both are trying to figure out the car seat situation. Where are the kids in all of this? They test Addie in the new seat and she's not having it because she's hungry.
Chris takes the boys to gymnastics, but Landen is not in the mood to participate, but eventually goes in for the end of the session.
Jess is outside because she doesn't want the kids to hear what she's about to say. They're going to take the kids to Chuck E Cheese. She sits Lilia, Alyna, Kyson, Kaden, and Landen down and gets them all excited to go, then jokes that she and Chris are the only ones going and the kids go nuts.
At Chuck E Cheese, the kids get stamped (even Addie I think? Is that a security thing?) and go off to play games. $150, 2000 tickets, and a bunch of toys that are gonna break in an hour later, the kids are happy.
Back to the house, Janell (who tagged along) and Alyna leave. Jess and Addie end the vlog with Addie chewing on something.

they seriously have zero routine. did anyone notice alyna leaving their house with wet hair? does that mean she showered there then went home? weird. anyways, they never seem to have a bath, dinner, night time story, get tucked in kind of thing going on. it's just like, everyone bathe, and lets hop into whichever bed you want for the night and go to sleep.occassionally jess reads a story, but theres zero routine.

They probably don't understand the importance of daily routine for kids. As long as they're not crying, they must be fine. I'm usually against structuring kids days too much, but there is a difference between having a daily routine versus having a real work schedule for kids.
From what I can tell, they work with their kids like they work with their life, very inconsistent and chaotic.

Hahaha, I applied to work at Chuckies last summer before receiving a job offer at a summer camp, and one of the answers I gave in an interview was that I am detail-oriented and would always be sure the family group is together.

Honestly, going to Chuck E. Cheese as an adult is a whole other playing field. The pizza is cardboard topped with watery sauce and cheese, the noises are repetitive, and the games aren't that great (except for Skee Ball. Everybody loves Skee Ball). Dave and Buster's is much better!

I'm not going to watch the vlog, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say Chris won most of those 2000 tickets. Whack-a-Mole is probably a favorite of his.

I find it weird how much Janell and Alyna are around Jess' house lmao literally dawn to dusk, like.. GO HOME, spend some quality time with your kid one to one, why does Janell love being in their huge mess of a life? Maybe because its just her and Alyna she finds it boring?
