DailyHappyWithoutMyHusband: Part 63

Re: DailyHappyWithoutMyHusband: Part 63

I didn't see any indication in the vlog that it was specifically McDonalds chicken nuggets. While neither are "good", it's certainly preferable if it is a baked vs deep fried McDonalds nugget. Either way - non processed chicken would be the way to go for BLW. An infant simply doesn't need the salts, sugars, and saturated fats.

Regardless of where the nugget came from, they are doing BLW so wrong. Missy noted in her Facts about Finn that she didn't even understand BLW when she started but that she "definitely gets it now" - again, cut to footage of Finley eating a BBQ sauce-covered chicken wing. No. No - you really don't get it, still. Her choices of foods truly baffles me. The fact that she would go a certain route with her child without actually understanding it also baffles me. I am all for BLW, but I feel like you should research things like that to make sure it's right for you and right for your baby before you actually do it instead of just jumping right in and trying it without actually understanding how to do it properly. It will be interesting to see how they progress or evolve their BLW techniques over the next few weeks as they read the criticism here. Fingers crossed that they move towards items with unprocessed nutrition (plain baked chicken and fruits and veggies...).

Mc Donald's chicken nuggets or normal nuggets. Either way, deep fried crap like that is NOT good for a 6 month old just starting out solids!!!

So the Johnson fam are taking a break from vlogging to focus on family. Wonder if he's still working for bumps. Maybe they saw what the bumps are really like and wanted to step away from them. Personally , whatever the reason have to hand it to them. We will see in the next days if Jeff shows up.

Really? Lol no. Ollie at 6 months was also advanced with crawling and walking. Finn is even more advanced, he crawled pretty early, and pulling up! My LO crawled at 9 months and has just now gotten the hang of pulling up at 10/11 months, and that is still normal! Babies go at their own pace and some slowly learn and do modified versions, and then some (like my LO) learn it later but they do it perfectly first time and never look back lol

I'm actually shocked that you can't admit Finn is learning his physical milestones quiet early. Do you have children?

Didn't she say Ollie was barely sitting up at 6 months? My kiddo walked at 9 months so all finn's milestones aren't out of ordinary it's completely normal

Well the person I was replying to is saying Finn isn't advanced (he is with physical milestones- he crawled before 6 months) and that Ollie was delayed.

I don't know about sitting up but Ollie walked at 9 months which is on the earlier side of the milestone, by no means delayed lol.

It's just super annoying that she is like "he's so advanced." My daughter had a huge vocabulary really young and I knew that but I would never go around boasting that she is so advance. That would just make me sound like a douche canoe.

Finn was eating an artichoke on snapchat

Bet it won't be on the vlog

Until Bry (or whoever edits) reads here and decides to prove us wrong lol.

But it looked like they were at a restaurant and they seem to be trying to go for the wholesome family cook at home thing so maybe they will leave it out!

Guess we'll see!

I really hate the comparing of a child's ability. Every child learns at a different pace. Ollie was NOT delayed. He seemed to develop at a normal age and Finn does seem a little earlier.

My son was crawling at 5 months, took his first steps at 9 months and walking fully unaided/almost running at 10 months. In the nurse books, this was classed as an advanced baby. But I never would boost about because I understood every learns differently. And just so had it, my son who is 2.5 years now is a little slower on the talking thing. He's acing everything except that. Ollie has a better speech than my son.

So to me, yes Finn is a little advanced, comparing to what the nurses had told me when my son was that age. I just don't like the way missy is constantly going on about it though. And Bryan.. 'oh look babe our baby is so much smarter'. I have tried everything to get my son to talk more, sometimes you just cant. they do it at their own pace.. I cant see Bryan and Missy being the reason Finn is doing these things a little earlier.

Why would you give a 6 month old a chicken leg dripping in bbq (ie sugar) sauce??? Bbq is too sugary for me and I'm an adult. And a chicken leg...... Seems Absurd.

The way it was edited with the footage of him eating junk almost felt like who ever edited it was making fun of her. 'We want him to eat healthy' shows him eating junk. 'He's so good at keeping food in the front' shows him chewing in the back. And that slow banana chew-spit up was unnecessary lol

I'm glad to see a vid on her channel though. I cannot watch Bryan he's such a phoney and so annoying. Phonnoying! She looks some tired though. Her eyes are lifeless.

Ollie sitting up at 6 months isn't delayed though..... And I watched the 6 months update and she said at 6 months he could sit up but had the occasional flop over- that is literally so normal and on track- not in the slightest bit "delayed".

Thank you! Finn is very advanced for his age. BTW I also have 10 1/2 month old. She just started crawling, pulling up, and cruising furniture this week.
