Can't stand her. Her accent is annoying, but she can't help that. Her videos are SO DAMN LONG! Every single one is like 20 mins. Super annoying! What are your thoughts?

Re: carlynicoleelliotte
I love her videos. I am not a fan of her accent but it doesn't really bother me. She is one of the few YouTube moms that I really like and watch every video of, not always same day I see them posted but in the same week at least. I love her house, I am not sure why they feel cramped there and want to move.
Re: carlynicoleelliotte
Her vids tend to BORE me, too much talking...but I feel for her because of all she's been through and find it hard to dislike her. She seems sweet, like someone you could easily be friends with in real life. I dont keep up with her vids as much as some of the other moms. I do like that she is very real. She seems to be an honest vlogger on YT.

I like her. She's honest, and sweet, and has been through so much. All while still being real about her feelings and struggles. I'm assuming she is from the south like I am and we cant help our accents. I wouldn't dislike someone for their voice. Grammar yes! But accent? No She is probably the only person I will watch a 20 minute video of, so it doesn't bother me.
Re: carlynicoleelliotte
She got a boob job. Posted some vlogs about the process, including post-op updates, some of which were a little...err, revealing? Privated a few of them. Anyone notice?

Re: carlynicoleelliotte
I noticed the other day because I went back to look for them. I really like her and her videos seem honest and real. I found her when she was pregnant with her son and have been watching her ever since. I wanted to save her videos and go back and watch them because I am seriously contemplating a boob job once my kids are a bit older and not so demanding, and wanted to know more about the recovery process. I noticed that some of the videos were no longer showing, but that doesn't surprise me because you could see her whole breast minus nip in one of the videos. That's a little bit too much for me.

Re: carlynicoleelliotte
First let me say my view on her has completely changed since I last posted about her. I think she has a lot of body image issues and getting a boob job wasn't such a good idea at this point. She even kept saying" this isn't what I wanted, I hope he will fix it free of charge". No plastic surgery is guaranteed 100%. I think at her lowest point she thought a boob job would help her appearance when really she has a lot of issues inside that a surgery can not fix. I have nothing against a boob job but I just don't think she should have jumped into it yet. Even she said she had a goal weight to reach and once she did she would reward herself and get it done. However she never reached that goal but still got the surgery I think in hopes to make herself feel better and it appears it backfired.

Re: carlynicoleelliotte
I agree. Idk if its typical, but I thought at one point "oh shit, this isn't the end of it. She's never going to be happy with get body". I know many people never are 100% happy (myself included), but when you resort to drastic measures like surgery (as opposed to working out abd eating well, and fashion), you are entering dangerous territory if you are fickle.
That's why I wanted to see her Instagram, BC it's been three weeks and I'm interested to see where she stands now.

Re: carlynicoleelliotte
I was shocked she had surgery just a few months after making a video about her depression problems. What kind of person thinks, "oh I'm dealing with depression, you know what I should do? Have my body cut open by an "artist" and I'll be happy with new BOOBS!". Really disturbing. I wonder if she went over her history with her surgeon.
Re: carlynicoleelliotte
They are supposed to ask you about depression before this type of surgery because a lot of times it makes it worse. From someone who has had the procedure, i was well informed of the risks of depression and my surgeon made sure i wasnt depressed or having issues before my surgery. I had to go through a 'survey' of sorts and kind of like a mental health test before he would agree to the surgery. i would think any GOOD PS would do an evaluation before doing surgery on a patient, but some people just want money...
I had a pretty easy recovery, not a lot of pain after the first few days, sleeping was the worst. I hated sleeping on my back... I have suffered from depression in the past and was afraid it would rear its ugly head but i was fine. I hope she doesnt fall into a deep depression since she was already struggling. i hope thats not why she hasnt made any new videos :/

I also had my boobs done when I was 20. It was a huge confidence booster. Maybe I'm dumb, but how could having them done make depression WORSE?? new boobs was one of the best things ever. Lol. I don't see how that could make someone depressed.
Don't really know her but watched a few minutes of her breast augmentation video. Her accent makes her sound so stupid, I couldn't watch anymore.

Re: carlynicoleelliotte
I dont think its the new boobs that make it worse.. its the surgery itself. Im not sure, i didnt fully understand it myself... i just know that they asked me a lot of questions. I think mostly if youre not happy with your body or somewhat happy then having the surgery probably wont make you happy either. Some people have have unreachable expectations, id say thats probably most of it.ladybug wrote:I also had my boobs done when I was 20. It was a huge confidence booster. I think it's the fact that she was severely depressed prior and in her mind I think she thought new boobs would help. BUT once they were done she kept finding things wrong with them and they don't look like she had wanted. THAT could make prior depression even worse. She has always been uncomfortable with her own body and having surgery to fix it and having it not look like you want can make things worse. I do believe that is why a lot of people (not everyone obviously) start with 1 procedure and continue to go back for more either to fix the prior or to fix another body part. I bet she will have more procedures, but at this point I'm not sure she will video it just because she got a lot of negative comments on her recent videos.

Re: carlynicoleelliotte
I really like her. I have followed her long before she was on Youtube, back when she just had a blog. She has been through a lot. She seems like a really down to earth person.
Re: carlynicoleelliotte
Did anyone else notice she deleted a TON of videos? All that is left is some craft videos, and a few random ones. Everything about her kids or life really is gone, along with her IG and I think FB to.
It's not the first time she's done this, as said before she deleted all her boob job videos awhile back.
