Re: Heidi Kim??
I think I've figured out why Heidi's hair always looks ultra greasy and unwashed. I don't think she rinses out her conditioner well enough and/or doesn't shampoo her hair and scalp thoroughly. Because he hair appeared to be wet and freshly washed yesterday and today was dirty looking in the back section of hair.
I feel badly that they didn't get a full date night. I don't know why, but I always found Heidi's mom strange, too.
ALSO I don't like the nickname "Gamma" I'm sure it's what Rosalind called her, but I still feel peeved when I hear Heidi say it lol.
While I'm nitpicking, when they say, "box" "little cub" and "wizard" it sounds so unnatural. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Re: Heidi Kim??
You might be right about her not rinsing out conditioner properly. Personal but I have to have carers help me wash my hair due to health problems and when they first started my hair would look greasy by the end of that day coz they weren't washing all the conditioner out properly :/PostyMcPosterston wrote:I think I've figured out why Heidi's hair always looks ultra greasy and unwashed. I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds Heidi's Mum a little weird (although I feel so bad thinking that) I think it's partly because she always speaks in a baby voice, even to Heidi and Ken it seems. I did feel really bad that they didn't get a full date night.
I might be in the minority but I actually like Rosalind and Irene's nicknames being Little Cub and Little Wizard, although I think Little Wizard is a little overused.

I agree the nicknames are adorable. It doesn't sound natural when they actually say it. I think Little Wizard is the best nickname for a little ever!lilwhiteindian wrote:You might be right about her not rinsing out conditioner properly. And yes!!! The mom's baby voice. That's it!!! I couldn't figure out why I thought she was strange. She seems super sweet.
Why didn't her guests help with dishes? That's unheard of in both sides of my family and my husbands.

Re: Heidi Kim??
Rosalind's nickname is cute. I don't like little wizard though. It does sound forced when they say it but not as forced as when Heidi calls ken "my love". Ugh it's so unnatural and her high pitched voice doesn't make it any better

Re: Heidi Kim??
Sobbed through today's vlog with her tribute to Adalaide! I love that they have always marked the day both publicly and privately and I love the idea of donating toys from the three girls. Just wanted to voice my thoughts on today's video!

They honor Adelaide even though they very well could lose ad dollars on this video. It just shows you where their values are.

Re: Heidi Kim??
There was no sponsorship, but if you mean monetized, I don't think she can make any money off of it because she is talking about a miscarriage, hence the little tidbit she said, "YouTube doesn't want me talking about it" i could have interpreted that wrong though.Dailybuzz24 wrote:Was the video sponsored?justkidding wrote:They honor Adelaide even though they very well could lose ad dollars on this video. My unpopular opinion is that they mourn like she died yesterday. I find it so strange. It's been 5 years. Idk why it makes me feel weird, but it does.

Re: Heidi Kim??
I agree with you. Her talking about her stillbirth makes me very uncomfortable for some reason. It is very sad but she has two beautiful little girls who she may not have at all if she hadn't lost Adelaide. She is the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to her loss as missy, who never even mentions it.monkey837 wrote:My unpopular opinion is that they mourn like she died yesterday. Re: Heidi Kim??
Everyone's loss is different so their grief is different. If you read the comments on Heidi's videos you will see many women who have other children and yet continue to grieve for the child they lost no matter how many years it has been. Obviously not everyone can relate to their story but that is the beauty of YouTube. There are tons of Vloggers out there telling a variety of stories to appeal to all different followers. I find their story very touching and the way honor Adelaide beautiful but everyone gets to air their opinion on this forum.

Re: Heidi Kim??
Even thought it's a depressing topic it's okay to still grieve. Even though Adelaide is gone she still in their hearts and minds. She felt that baby grow, kick and move inside her. She felt the pain of delivery and the pain of having to bury that little girl that she loved. I think if Adelaide had passed after birth people wouldn't think it so strange how they still morn her loss so deeply.

Re: Heidi Kim??
Exactly. Actually, I can relate to how Heidi feels and approaches remembering Adelaide. They give themselves moments like her birthday to feel the pain and grieve her loss again. I imagine it's a loss that's there day to day, but without the crippling pain. I feel like they take these days to go back in their minds, recall that despair and welcome the feelings as a tribute and way to remember. I don't think they are haunted by Adelaide in daily life and unable to care for their living children. It seems like a normal and healthy way to handle grief to me.KaterinaBB wrote:Even thought it's a depressing topic it's okay to still grieve. Re: Heidi Kim??
And...according to Heidi's twitter, YouTube decided the video was not advertiser friendly so they won't make any money off the video. That's what I meant in my earlier post. They choose to honor her knowing that this could happen. They care more about honoring Adelaide than they do about the money. I think that shows a lot about what matters most to them.

I am a shitty person but she looks so bad when she does her hair like this. And the bow really throws it over the top for me. Like what's wrong with brushing the curls out so they're not so tight and stiff

Her brows look thicker than when she got them waxed the other day! A little thinner and a different shape would be so nice.

Re: Heidi Kim??
I am all for thrifty gifts, but am I the only one who found it sad that Ken got Heidi's Christmas gift for free and then didn't give it to her on Christmas? If I got my husband something for free even if I knew he'd love it id still get him something else and at a minimum make sure he had something to open on Christmas.
