I agree with you. I know someone that had a baby boy a couple of months ago and they named him Everett. It doesn't sound good as a girl's name. Maeve does sound like an old great grandma's name haha

I feel so bad for Mandi having to go to work when the girls are so young. US maternity leave is horrible!
She did seem happy to just get a little bit of a break though.
But they finally talked about what they are gonna do about daycare for now! It doesnt really surprise me that Tara is staying home.

Sorry, I haven't watched the video yet... so is Tara quitting her job to stay home with the three kids?

How are they able to afford anything on just Mandi's salary?! Is she a dental assistant?

Tara will be working from home for the time being. This makes me pretty convinced she works for her dad, because of how flexible it seems to be. And Mandi is also not back full time yet. But yes, she's a dental assistant.

I'm surprised they're not both working full time. Social blade only estimates their monthly earnings to be between $250-$3,400, and people usually say the correct amount is around the middle.

They seem like the types to be very careful with their money, have a good amount of savings, obviously come from well off families (well Tara at least), and have had a lot of work on their house done for free (I assume). I'm not that surprised they can afford their arrangement for now.

But yeah, Mandi seems happy to go back to work. She clearly likes her job and clearly has been going stir crazy in that house.

Agreed! I love Mandi, but I get the impression she would not do well being stuck at home all day with 3 children and no help. Whereas I feel like Tara would be happier if she were a full-time housewife. Of course, part of me feels like that's because she's so controlling and wants it done her way. I still find it odd that Lennon has virtually no interaction with other children her own age. Clearly it's a bit of an issue. When they went to the playground last week and another child tried to befriend her, Mandi said she was having none of it. Even before that, when Mandi's parents were in town, they took her to the petting zoo at the library. That kid didn't interact with one single child. I think it's great that they work on learning at home, but she'll stand a better chance of making friends if they socialize her at an early age. If you can't afford daycare or don't want to put your child in one at least make an effort to join play groups.

Hopefully this is okay to ask here, not sure it's ever been covered, but do you guys know if there's a video where they talked about why they had Mandi take Tara's last name? I've always wondered about that and how you would decide.

Yeah I don't think they socialize Lennon enough either. I think if the twins hadn't come along she'd have been a pretty obnoxious kid since they're constantly telling her that she's so pretty and smart and she gets all of their attention. Don't get me wrong, it's good to build your kids up, but putting them in a bubble where they only interact with adults who are very fond of them is a bad idea. The earlier your kids are socialized the more comfortable they are with others. That can go a long way towards a kid's ability to make friends.

Lennon is almost 2 and just got her first scrape. Does she ever play outside of the house? Lol. My daughter and her are the same age and my daughter regularly gets scraped up from running around outside, climbing, etc.

I mean she has had scrapes before, but they've all been from playing inside. When they do take her out it's never really to places where she could get scrapes (like the park). Well they don't show it on camera.

It's just funny to me that it was such a big deal that it even made the title and thumbnail.

I know it's hilarious. I really hope they start letting her do more 'risky' stuff and socialise her with other children. The twins are getting bigger and needier (attention wise) everyday so she's going to lose a lot of the attention she gets at some point.

I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing their personalities develop and see how they interact with their sister :D

Am I the only one who thinks the baptism thing is weird? As they said, they believe in God but don't go to church and had to look around to find the right one just to get the girls baptised. All of that just so the girls can have some sort of "religious background" to pursue in the future, if they wish to.
I wouldn't bat an eye if they were genuinely religious but it just seems odd to baptise your children if you don't even attend church yourself.

I'm not surprised. It fits in with that perfect lifestyle they try to portray.

The baptism might be to appease the grandparents. They come from a different generation and Catholics believe if youre are not baptized you might not go to heaven. So they might have done it to make the grandparents happy.
