Re: Schmovies
Anyone else feel like this is kind of awkward to tweet about? I mean, she says she’d feel bad for sharing it... but why even say anything then? Of course people are going to search for it or ask for a link to their registry now.

Re: Schmovies
They just had twin girls.. I feel like that's kind of rude to ask for their family and friends to buy more crap for them

What else could she possibly need besides diapers!? She’s had baby after baby! She should be all set.

Re: Schmovies
The funny thing is that they didn’t register for any diapers, but there are 2 unicorn stuffed animals on there and a rug doctor. Makes sense, right? LolYesMia wrote:What else could she possibly need besides diapers!? She’s had baby after baby! She should be all set.

I'm pretty sure they got rid of all their baby stuff because this one was a total surprise. I agree though, she should have just tweeted it out or said nothing at all. Very awkward. I'm still sort of in shock that they're having another baby. Their life already seems so chaotic.
On another note something that's been bothering me for a while...how many times are we going to have to watch Dana buy groceries on that app. It was interesting once but they made it the focus of an entire blog practically every week. I get that they are getting free groceries out of the deal but I feel like they're boring their already tiny audience even more.

Re: Schmovies
A freaking Rug Doctor?! that's reaching lol, I could see needing a car seat, not sure if they have a co sleeper but they have shown the twins in toddler beds but now they are back in cribs.
I just hope they don't shove all 5 girls in one room, they have a spare bedroom and I don't know why they wouldn't want to put the twins in that room.

Re: Schmovies
A Rug Doctor is a great investment, but not something I would ever expect to see on a baby registry. How bizarre.

Re: Schmovies
FYI the rug doctor has been purchased off their registry... I guess they could’ve bought it themselves but I’m hoping it wasn’t a viewer who spent $235 on a vlogger.

Re: Schmovies
Well, Dana got the unicorn stuffed animal she wanted from the Amazon registry, even though she had to go buy it herself, lol.
Any guesses on baby #7’s name?

Re: Schmovies
I'm curious how the homeschooling is going. I find that the more interesting part of their channel though they often seem to be behind so I don't think they mention it too much. I'm sure with the new baby they will get behind again too. I think they always planned on Dana doing school with the children while Tim worked but now Dana is way too busy with the younger children to have anytime for schooling.
I don't have any kids so I can't judge or say but do you guys ever find Dana overly strict with the kids or expecting a lot of work from them? I think having chores and rewards is totally healthy but sometimes it seems like they expect the kids to do every little thing around the house. Maybe it's just to help out with the pregnancy though.

Re: Schmovies
I think they really only show school work when its a sponsored video. Another mom does that.

Re: Schmovies
Name reveal video is going up today. I’m guessing something biblical like Naomi or Ruth/Ruthie.

I like the name too and the meaning behind it. I hope they’re ready for everyone to call her Olivia all the time though. Lol

Re: Schmovies
I'm sure you're right. I have a friend who's daughters name is Alivia and even when she spells it for ppl, they still write it with an O half the time.cottonblossom wrote:I like the name too and the meaning behind it. I hope they’re ready for everyone to call her Olivia all the time though. Lol

Re: Schmovies
I don't dislike it, but it just feels incomplete. When I say "Livia" out loud, it feels wrong. It feels like I'm missing an O in front of it.

Re: Schmovies
Wow, I thought they were going to go with Olive when they were talking about it, Livia is a cute name and I thought the way they announced it was fun (God, that sounded like Ellie lol).

Re: Schmovies
I really like the name! Pleasantly surprised. It's a different twist on the overly common Olivia. I have an Olivia in my life and we've called her Livy from day one and I personally think it's a pretty cute nickname.
To respond to the person who mentioned homeschool...I just don't see how those kids could possible be getting a decent education. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I am pretty sure their schedule is 2 hours a day (Tim has this time blocked off on his work schedule), 4 days a week. No way 8 hours of schooling a week is cutting it! Plus they start every day with scripture and coloring time so I'm not counting that as real school. They may be flying through all those worksheets but no way they can be absorbing and retaining everything. I also don't get how they do it with Hannah being a grade level ahead than Zeke but they still seem to do the same work...I think Hannah isn't able to reach her full potential with this. Hannah and Hallie at least seem like smart kids and would totally benefit from some structured schooling. Not to mention I don't get their whole "family team" model...I just don't see the need to keep everyone at home and isolated 24/7 in order to form good family bonds. They claim they are plenty socialized but I'm not buying that one bit.
