Ppl watch her because she's pretty and personable. She know her audience pretty well-- young girls without children.

Re: Britneyandbaby
^ exactly and aria is pretty cute. Plus she does the videos people ask for so she knows they're going to watch them. People want a recipe video and she does one. People want a makeup video, she does one. People want a day in the life so she does them.
Re: Britneyandbaby
I think Britney is popular because she's relatable to many SAHMs, and she puts time and effort into her channel. She gives her viewers what they ask for. Whether it's DITL videos, cooking videos, hauls, etc. She did VEDA, and now she's doing Vlogmas. It is definitely paying off, her view count has been increasing.

Re: Britneyandbaby
I would do the infant rescue swimming lessons if I had a baby/toddler. There are several places doing these lessons around Britney. Watch some of the amazing videos. They teach 6 month olds to self rescue until help arrives:

Well you don't force them under water, you calmly tell them you are both going under and that everything is okay. In Australia we have a program thing called Kids Alive do the 5. A swimming/water safety as no matter how often you watch your kids, somehow they end up in the water in a blink of an eye.
In the name of the moon, I shall gossip about you.

Re: Britneyandbaby
Yeah you don't force them under water you explain to them what's happening and you quickly dunk them. I don't know about the states but in Australia we have swimming lessons from 6 months old, I could doggy paddle from the age of 3, which was enough to get me to the surface and to the edge of a pool if I was to fall in. I dunk my 7 month old under the water and she doesn't care. It's more about teaching your children not to hear having water over their face and head and how to hold their breath/blow bubbles under water.
It's not like you hold them down under water it's a one second movement.
I just think teaching your kids to swim is one of the best things you can teach them.

Re: Britneyandbaby
If your child is comfortable with learning to swim then by all means teach them. My daughter, on the other hand, is deathly afraid of water. I was the same way as a child and somewhat still. I try hard enough already to get her to be comfortable enough to sit in a bathtub.
I've also seen so many children go nuts when trying to be taught to swim.
I guess it's just a personal preference, my daughter (I'm pretty sure) would go ballistic if I attempted a swim class with her... just the sight of a large puddle freaks her out.
That's just why I'm kind of iffy about swim classes with an infant and such.

Re: Britneyandbaby
I was a child that was absolutely terrified of water. When my parents put me under for the first time I did not hold my breath so I obviously got water up my nose BUT, I learned to hold it the next time they did it and never breathed again going under. Dunking a child will not drown them...it's not like you hold them under. Too many babies have I known that drowned in the blink of an eye. It's a given you should keep your eye on your child no matter what but the fact is, things happen and its good to prepare the best you can in a rare circumstance that your child will need those skills.

Re: Britneyandbaby
So in this video Britney said that she wants the age gap between aria and a sibling to be 2 1/2 yrs, since aria is 20 months now she would've to try for a baby soon. To you think that there is going to be an announcement early next year?

Re: Britneyandbaby
It sounded like she said " down the road after December"? I couldn't really hear , cause she rumble her words a bit. I'm sure she'll be having another one. What's up with her schooling should I say online phoenix which isn't a real college. Really no offense so many people get screwed with online schooling.I do wish her the best I must say she does have a nice YouTube vlog.

Re: Britneyandbaby
I only check in with Britney once in a while. I think this Christmas Ean will finally propose. At least I hope he will. He's lived with her too long not to, and It's starting to look bad, IMO. She deserves it. I won't have any respect for him, and lose a little for her, if they have another baby before even getting engaged. I know she wants to be married.

Re: Britneyandbaby
So she had a "meltdown" (what else is new?) and they basically rewarded her with a stuffed toy...ihateliars wrote:why did they take her to Build A Bear so close to Christmas??

I think she had the meltdown after getting the build a bear toy.

Re: Britneyandbaby
I thought it was after the meltdown too. I do think that britney and Ean don't know what to do with aria in public when she has her meltdowns and instead of disciplining the bad behaviour they try to make her happy instead by giving her snacks or toys or whatever.
My 2 year old has had maybe 3-4 meltdowns in public, because when he has a tantrum I give him a time out (in the store I don't care lol) and then when he's had his 2 mins to calm down I explain to him that that's not how we behave and we go about our business. He now doesn't have tantrums and he listens and does what he's asked because he knows better. Giving her things to make her happy isn't teaching her anything other than you have a tantrum and you'll get treats.

I too hope Ean proposes soon and that they don't plan another baby before that happens. We do not see much of their relationship details which is a good thing IMO but they appear to be stable and committed.

Re: Britneyandbaby
Aria a typical one in half year old , but if they don't put some kind of stop now to giving into her Tatum's.
It will get worse, cause she knows if she acts up she'll get whatever she wants. If they're planning on having another one it will be harder on them. I agree reward good behavior. Britney might want to put her daughter in preschool part time when she turns about two,or three, that might help. Keeping your child home is good after awhile your child needs a social environment meaning more then one playmate.

Re: Britneyandbaby
I heard many people saying "oh I want no more than 2 -3 years of age gap" and then changing their minds down the line. Time goes by faster than you imagine. Maybe saying 2-3 years may sound like a long time when your baby is a few months old. But 3 years is not that much when you plan your life around a toddler. I think they are doing great and they are so sweet that could make my teeth rot. but it would not be a wise choice to have another baby now. even if you value the short age difference between kids. they are doing good even because they have only one child. having another would throw them off balance again. they will be back where they started.
