I can't unsee that gif!! (From the previous thread, the sex one lol) My poor brain.

But seriously, Ellie needs some help. I can't even guilt myself into feeling bad about commenting on this, because E+J must know that Ellie's weight is controversial, yet they film her in a swimsuit in December and make it the thumbnail. She's being filmed in full body shots from every angle too, which is something that most women who are insecure or unhappy with their weight would definitely avoid.

I'm not saying it's wrong to make snow angels in your swimsuit before jumping in the hot tub - just that's an obvious gimmick for the vlog and they were being intentionally controversial. They are capitalizing on Ellie's issues and it helps that she loves the attention. They're banking on the inevitable controversy (which gives her the opportunity to play the victim) to keep people interested in their boring lives.

I don't know how her family doesn't see her thin body as needing some help either. But my guess is they see Bonnie as heavy and Ellie has made a couple of comments that would make me she thinks this too. I thought a good reference to how thin Ellie has become was Julie's recent visit, who is also naturally think, does look like Ellie, but the contrast between these two sisters is scary with Ellie's thin appearance.
My other thought is the Mormon's profess to be modest. None of these angles were modest.

Lmao @ that gif from the last thread...

I can't imagine them having sex ever and now thanks to that gif I don't need to imagine. I feel like I watched an Ellie porn just by watching that whole hot tub and snow scene. From exposed ass cheeks to her bony vagina flaps to cowgirl position oh and then Ellie and Jared laying in the snow with their climax faces.

This also means thousands of 10 year olds saw it, too.

Ellie folding laundry on the bathroom floor grosses me out so much. They are gross people and you know that floor is disgusting.

Ellie seems like the type of person who doesn't wash her hands after she pees and poops.

Her stomach is super odd looking. Very round like a puppy belly or a newborn baby. She is so unhealthy.

Plus, she LOVES all the comments about how people wish they were as skinny as she is, and how she's #skinnygoals.

I just checked - when I'm slowly laying down, my abbs pop out like that as well. When she fully lays down, her stomach is back to flat, so I think that part is normal.

But I still think that she is underweight and it could be one of the reasons she can't get pregnant. Her body probably doesn't feel strong and healthy enough to carry a baby.

A true test of her image is a physician telling her to gain weight to help achieve a pregnancy and she doesn't because she doesn't see her weight as an issue.

That wasn't her just laying down though. Her stomach looked like that the entire time.

And her stomach is usually so flat that Bonnie thought she was pregnant almost before Ellie did.

Plus it's not just her stomach, but her pelvic area as well.

Whatever it is, it doesn't seem healthy or ordinary.

Whoever said Ellie should have replaced the toilet space with a counter for the laundry room is right! That would have looked so nice in their home. Why would you fold laundry on a bathroom floor?

Ellie has to be the center of attention, thats why she acts crazy when her family is together. She seems to have a lot of issues with self esteem. And what's this about someone from her ward/stake posting in here?

I wonder where that poster is. They claimed to be from their ward. I'd love some inside scoop if they really were. There was also that poster that some of us (myself included) think was Ellie/Jared posting. Fun times...

Welp, now I fully know what Ellie's cooch looks like lol

And as for her stomach looking weird during the snow angel scene: Considering the position she's in, it's actually not abnormal. If I lay on my back and am moving my arms and legs back and forth like that, my stomach goes into the same sort of "cone shape", and I even have much more body fat than Ellie does. Her core is being engaged which is making her abdominals protrude in this way. It's also very likely that she has diastasis recti (separation of the abdominal wall), very commonly caused by pregnancy. The way her tummy looks is very common with diastasis recti. With the combination of her low body fat, body position, and 2 pregnancies, there's technically nothing "weird" about the way her stomach looks in that scene. Even though it looks freaky if you're not used to seeing it, it's much more common than you'd think!

I hate to defend Ellie, I do, but I just wanted to give some technical info about this situation in particular :) (not defending her body fat %, or marking that as "normal").

I actually have diastasis recti, so I'm unfortunately aware of how it creates a cone shape, but what I see in Ellie is different. It's also her pelvis that's involved, so the separation would have to be more severe around her belly button. Like I said earlier though, her stomach is completely flat otherwise, and with DR, you will have a bit of a protrusion or roundness to your belly even when standing.... especially if it's severe enough to be the whole way down.

This is why some mom's have bellies even if they are fit and trim. This is the first time we've noticed it on Ellie at all, and why I still find it curious and not necessarily DR.

Good point, totally agree with you. Your core muscles actually do go all the way down into your pelvis though, and DR or not, if body fat is low enough, it's totally normal for this cone shape to show when the core is engaged. With DR, it's more exaggerated as a "cone", but it's hard to tell from the angle of the footage on Ellie. It may just be two factors exaggerating it, DR and/or low body fat. This link might help to explain a little more in depth and illustrate what I'm referring to :)

I think this has just been brought to our attention because this is the first time that we've seen her in this position with little coverage. First, and last, hopefully!

I think Jared's choice of thumbnail shows a distinct lack of respect for his wife .. he is just a common sleazebag! You Tube whores.

I'm not arguing that Jared necessarily respects Ellie, but I'm assuming he would run it by her before using a thumbnail like that...she probably loves the attention that it gets her.

I still don't get how posting a thumbnail like that is not defying their rules of modesty when it can reach millions of people, yet they can't wear that in public or it's immodest.

And I agree about the laundry room folding station. A folding station with storage for baskets underneath would have been better.

I agree about the laundry room too.

I'm the one that said I found it weird, and I've seen bathrooms with laundry before, so its not the concept I find strange, but the idea that Ellie not only designed this room, but hyped it up so much. I was expecting a far larger, laundry-only room complete with folding station, drying racks etc. A Pinterest worthy room! What she has is just a small bathroom with a washer and drier in it. Nothing really notable at all.

I've never had a big laundry room, usually just a closet where the machines are tucked away. As soon as the clothes come out of the dryer, they go to the sofa or bed to be folded, hung, etc. I just cannot imagine separating and folding laundry on the floor - especially in the vicinity of a toilet! I've seen toilets in laundry rooms a few times, always in older houses, and though it seems redundant, I don't find it nearly as disturbing as putting clean clothes on the floor!

I admit it's totally a nitpick, and not serious. But if I got to design my forever home, I agree with those who said a folding station would be ideal, with a long wide counter. And shelves. And a hanging rack. I mean, there are a lot of things I would have chosen differently than E+J, but laundry is a practical concern. I certainly can't picture myself on the hard floor processing clean clothes in my dream home.

Yes older homes is where I have totally seen that too and it's typically on a service porch type of place but not a planned thing, I think it's gross to throw nice clean clothes on the floor near the toilet, especially since people miss and hit the floor... a folding/ironing station just makes more sense for the space.

Eye-rolling so hard at the irony of Ellie mentioning this anxiety all the time as an excuse for all kinds of things, while somehow still preaching the Mormon philosophy of "just be happy."

I'm no stranger to anxiety. I have it. My son has it. Even a lot of my friends have it... all to varying degrees. We all have tools to manage it, but no one I know would smugly tell others to just get out and do things more, or be brave. There is no one solution. Like with IF, how can Ellie have such a lack of empathy (or understanding) for others going through something she's struggled through. Giving this advice to someone with anxiety is like telling someone with depression that the solution is to just try smiling more
