Re: John and Joan,The bold and the pregnant || Part 2 ||
After she got pregnant with Maeve Jr, I was fooled for a moment that maybe she could get it together because she seemed to be coping better. As time goes on, it is apparent that she is not gonna cope. Seems like she was ok because this pregnancy was an initial distraction for her. Maybe that's her thing? She does ok when she has a distraction.... but when the baby comes, that's the thing she's going to need a distraction from. And she'll either go back to crying about Maeve. Or.. what they said.
She's stuck in a cycle. What's gonna break it?

Re: John and Joan,The bold and the pregnant || Part 2 ||
There are days when Joan leaves work because she is just too upset. How will that be handled when she has a baby she can’t just ignore to focus on her grief?
I feel bad for this baby, she will spend her whole life walking on egg shells around her mothers grief.
It seems like John is worried to. The things he says and the guarded way he talks to her is pretty telling. I honestly wonder if Joan carries on once the baby is born how it will play out between them. I could see John leaving her and taking the baby. I don’t wish it on them, but I could definitely see it happening.

I could see her using Lavender, but also Violet... maybe also Clementine, because it's still a colour name but not purple. Or Scarlett. Or if she's sticking with purple - Lilac. Lily for short.

Re: John and Joan,The bold and the pregnant || Part 2 ||
I'm not sure John is un-lazy enough to single parent a child. Seeing his work ethic to date he would definitely not go out to work every day. He would give up work, go on state benefits, prattle around at home all day on his little projects and bikes and call it a day.FakingIt_MakingIt wrote:There are days when Joan leaves work because she is just too upset. Wow. I just looked at how much she has sold... https://www.etsy.com/shop/MaeveWithLove ... ion&page=1
90 sales since her "Really hard news" video on February 12th. I'm guessing she's made about $5,000-$6,000+ so far.
I bet she is toying with the idea of quitting work after her maternity leave and will focus on Youtube and Etsy for income.

What is Joan going to do when the new baby starts daycare? Is she going to feel the need to tell them about Maeve? The time will come where her memory will fade, and the child in front of people's eyes will take a larger spotlight. Harsh as it may sound, this isn't favouritism, it is the living vs the dead. Life goes on, this new baby will have a story... Maeve's story (and that part of Joan's as the childless mother) will be over. Joan is going to lose her identity with the arrival of the new baby, and while I don't think she enjoys the actual grieving, I do think she has relished in the identity and attention from being an infertility patient and mother to a stillborn child.
Exactly I agree with everything you said
Ican picture her talking to the staff in the daycare “i love this place maeve(**** new baby name older sister)would’ve loved it too”
I started followig her because I felt sad for her but after a while I just feel like she is cery mentally sick and needs intervention before baby comes for baby’s sake

I’m aware of the difference between the two names, I’m not that much of an idiot.
The reason I was rattling off colour names is because the name Lavender and Violet were both discussed by others, and honestly, they seemed like plausible suggestions that fit in with a ‘unique vibe’ Joan has said they’d have.
She mentions colour a lot, and fixates on on the red/orange hair. Hence Clementine and Scarlett. Lilac, because it’s pretty fricken unique and goes well with the middle name of Mae.
Thanks for saying it louder for the people in the back - I think we’re now all aware that Maeve is not a colour

I literally CANNOT stand Joan anymore. She is so obnoxious about be pregnant. (Probably even worse than Ellie - and that’s hard to beat!) Unfollowing her NOW. I would rather jump off a clif than continue to see/read posts from her!

I can remember following her on instagram before the Ellie and Jared contest. Literally I'd open instagram and everyday it would be Maeve. I unfollowed back then because it was clearly she was in an unhealthy space and I just couldn't bare to see that everyday.
And then I saw them as finalists in the Ellie and Jared. I think more about these couples is needed before giving them IVF. Like job info. John is lazy AF.
And Joan's mental status is very concerning. She has hope. She's pregnant which is more than a lot of IF/baby loss moms can say. I know it's early and not a done deal but her doctors know and are keeping a close watch on her.
They follow a lot of other ytubers who are so humble (insert sarcasm) they start go fund mes for themselves.

Hi John
50 hour work weeks are pretty fucking normal, at least in my neck of the woods. Heck I’m 33 weeks pregnant and I just worked a 60 hour work week...it’s just unattractive and annoying how you bring up your FIFTY hours (oh the horror) every chance you get in a vlog. Re: John and Joan,The bold and the pregnant || Part 2 ||
Whilst you definitely have a valid point, the trouble with Joan is that she's guilt of revisionist history. She keeps changing the past depending on what narrative she wants to portray at any given time. Remember she said she was an alcoholic and then changed it to say she wasn't and that she just gave up alcohol to support John in his recovery. She does this on a lot of topics.queentee20 wrote:I know I’m super late but someone mentioned Joan possibly being an alcholic? I heard that addicts have to be careful after treatment because they can get addicted to something else to replace their original addiction. I know it sounds stupid but I think Joan has become addicted to her grief.... if she was, idk if she was or not, she’s probably already got that tendency in her system and it mainfiested into being obsessed and addicted to grief. Just my two cents,
Also I’m glad some of y’all said her jewelry is ugly. I didn’t want to be rude but she’s charging $70+ for some ugly jewlery my art camp kids could have made...

Good. Then I want John to know that he couldn't make it as an "80's fighter pilot" or any kind of military pilot.Scar2016 wrote:John: ''Ask any random anonymous troll on an off-youtube forum...'' Well I guess that confirms they read heregymchick43 wrote:Hi John

Fifty hour work week? I wish my ex had only worked 50 hours a week when he was a Navy flyer. And you obviously have an issue with criticism and doing things that you deem beneath you. There's a role in the squadron-- SLJO. It means Shitty Little Jobs Officer. Everyone has to be that officer once. And you can't complain about it. Or not do it, or just go home.
"Top Gun" was a movie. And a very unrealistic one. Real fighter pilots work long hours, are away from their families more than they are home, and have to be able to swallow their pride for something bigger than themselves.
Maybe instead of reading here, you should help your wife get past the grief she is still stuck in so she can be a good mom to that little miracle she is carrying.

Lol hi John, thanks for the exaggeration of my 1000s of posts. I maybe post once every 3 days, usually a little gossip session while I’m resting my hard worked feet on my 30 min break. I’m sure you spend more time on here than me refreshing. lmmomSD wrote:Good. Joan’s recent post really pissed me off
First it was a post about a woman’s hearbtreaking story with her SECOND full term still birth
I was alittle impressed with joan She CAN think of someone other than herself
Then in the comments someone asked what happened (in regardsto this womans case) joans replied with that both times it was unexplained and meave’s case it was preventable
Like her loss is bigger because it was preventable while this poor women who went through hell twice her suffering was less because it was “unpreventable”

Bahahaha. And being a nurse, you're a "wage jockey"? I am willing to bet that you spend 95% of your shift on your feet. Not to mention the fact that your career by its very nature is draining and that you take care of others for a living. And you take care of your daughter, and are pregnant yourself. You can't just decide you're having a bad day and leave, unlike his wife who works part time in a bead store where they let her go home if she's sad and bring her dog to work.gymchick43 wrote:Lol hi John, thanks for the exaggeration of my 1000s of posts. Re: John and Joan,The bold and the pregnant || Part 2 ||
They claim that they financially planned for a baby and that they saved and saved to be in a position to have a baby, and yet their situation doesn't ever seem to add up. They were devastated that her small town, part-time retail bead store job didn't come with paid maternity leave. His work situation wasn't stable until recently. They live in this perpetually unfinished house while trying to do all of the work themselves. They received an IVF grant and have held how many GoFundMe campaigns for themselves? Her Etsy prices are way above market value and are likely from viewers who feel sorry for her and want to help. That will dry up quickly, she won't be able to continue to make 90+ sales a month.

Re: John and Joan,The bold and the pregnant || Part 2 ||
If they really want to prevent the baby from having to go to daycare, they should have jobs that are opposite shifts, one during the day and one at night. Or Joan could go down to weekends only (or whenever John isn't working) at the bead shop job and try to get a job at a daycare during the week, where she could bring the baby*. There are solutions if they think creatively, but they want to beg people for money instead.
*I know a lot of you will probably say no daycare would ever hire someone like Joan, but she could at least try.

Good job BaileyBoo12!
The name weirdly seems soooo similar to Maeve. The V is in front and the M in middle.
