Today's little video was so cute! I just love Cody now that he's past the whiney stage. The comments are a mix of adults who understood the funny video and annoying kids (probably from E+J and B+M) calling Bonnie out for moving Lincoln's arms. Sigh..

Ha! I saw that too. Even one accusing Bonnie if teaching Lincoln bad things. Who are all these kids with unsupervised Internet access? And why do they care to watch the lives of young parents? So strange.

I do NOT understand that either. I understand Shay because he's goofy and obnoxious and I can see how he appeals to that age group (although he totally doesn't appeal to me!) But young couples with small children? Vlogging their daily lives? And the total devotion they inspire is also beyond me.I would have had no desire to watch that if it had been available when I was that age. Animal videos, yeah. But I was busy trying to get to Narnia from my friend's attic.

I just watched the video of Cody learning to ride the bike - was someone was in the house with Lincoln and Boston while they napped? I'm not sure if I missed something.

I was waiting for this and Cody not wearing a helmet to be brought up

It was the weekend so I think Olivia was home. Not that I think she's responsible enough to look after a baby and toddler but I think she can be trusted to go outside and get an adult if Lincoln did wake up.

I don't know any parents that feel they HAVE to stay inside while their children are sleeping. That's why they make monitors. You can hear of your toddler gets up, or the baby starts crying. The video monitors have incredible range, so you can see what's going on.

I fail to see what the big deal is

I assume it was the weekend because the vlog was posted this morning and the last one was posted Friday morning. Fair enough I could be wrong and this vlog was filmed weeks ago but my point is we don't know if the baby was left alone...

It could be the weekend. I was just wondering. I would think if Olivia was home she'd be out playing too.

Also I don't think it's a big deal if she left the boys sleeping inside while she was just outside her house. But I know this has been talked about to death so I won't comment further. We all have our opinions

Sorry, I'd didn't know it had been discussed before - I'm (reasonably) new to ytmd.

I personally wouldn't do it but I think I'd probably be classed as a bit of a nervous parent. Each to their own.

I just can't believe anyone thinks it's a problem to go outside in your yard while your baby/toddler sleeps. It's not like they went shopping! Lol. Do other parents sit silently in the house and listen for a squeak and go running for the baby? I don't get it.

^ they asked a question cause they were new, guys. They didn't make a big deal about it and call Bonnie a terrible parent or anything

I don't think it's a problem, I didn't know if I'd missed her saying someone was in the house and wanted to see if anyone else knew.

If Lincoln slept anywhere besides his crib I'd worry.

Zacattack under attack! Lol jk. We have had the debate under this board before how some feel it's OK to go outside with the other children while some are inside. I'd certainly be OK with Olivia or even Cody inside with my sleeping baby and trust them to come get me if the baby cried. It's not like she had cords or tiny choking hazards in the crib.

Now letting the kiddos out alone to play... I worry more about that!

Welcome to ytmd!

FWIW I stepped outside quite a bit when my kiddo would nap. I would run in every few minutes to listen for her crying or talking bc the monitor distance sucked.

No one was attacking them. It's a discussion board and a discussion took place.

Zac is welcome to share a different opinion!
Oh I know! Some were just saying that they didn't understand why it's suuuuch a big deal, I was just saying that Zac wasn't saying it was one! :)
