In his instagram story, he's holding Brooks in the arm closest to the road while driving and filming. It's ridiculous.

Looks like Brooks is sick again and Katie had to take him to see a doctor while Cullen went to the game... the homecoming game... for which he is not an alumnus... while
Katie is.

I’m gonna get shit for this, I know. There’s no reason they both needed to go to the doctor and bring Gaines. And Katie probably is the better parent to take him. But shit. Katie is always the one missing out on the fun.

I hate it when he does that. Or he'll steer with the arm that's around a kid and film with the other hand.
I have seen him driving on the freeway with one hand through the steering wheel, and the other hand adjusting the viewfinder. So no actual hands on the wheel, and looking at himself while adjusting the focus/viewfinder. On the freeway. He is a horribly distracted driver. And apparently, Alabama has some of the most lenient distracted driving laws in the country.
And at least someone took Brooks to the doctor instead of taking him to the game. But I agree that it's weird for Cullen to go to the game when it's Katie's alma mater, and not his.

What’s wrong with Katie taking B to the doctor? Cullen seems to be way more into the game then Katie is, doesn’t matter who’s an alumni. Brooks could of only wanted his momma anyway while Gaines stayed with Cullen. If she had taken everyone else including Gaines & not Cullen, then I’d be be like wtf but I really don’t see how this is a big deal

The Alabama game didn't start until about 6 p.m. Was she really taking Brooks to the doctor that late on a Saturday? Maybe she came to the game later??

I do agree Cullen would probably be out tailgating most of the day and likely too drunk to drive anywhere. Well, unless he was watching Gaines, but I'm guessing he left that to Katie and her mom.

So what if Cullen is not an alumni to that college, is he not allowed to be a die hard fan? So you can’t be a fan because you never attended the school? What about if you’re married or born into into a die hard college family, you can’t be just as much a fan as them because you didn’t go to that school? This debate is ridiculous. Same with the NFL, so many people like Cowboys with NO way of being connected to Dallas in any way or form (lived there, family connected to them) just because they’re the “America’s” team.

As someone else said, Cullen has always been more into Alabama football than Katie, and she is the alumni. Cullen is usually the one with Gaines while Katie handles the sick child and I don’t think she minds to be honest.

Nowhere did I say Cullen couldn't be a die hard fan. The point of homecoming is LITERALLY alumni coming HOME.

And I don't believe for one second that there's not even a small part of Katie that gets annoyed that all the parenting always falls on her. She may not care that she's missing the festivities, but it's never fun taking care of a sick kid while your partner is off getting drunk at a tailgate (which I assume is what Cullen did. We'll see for sure once the vlog comes out.)

I'm glad they took Brooks to urgent care, but it's just one more example of how all the hard parenting always falls on Katie.

Just seems you pick on Cullen for loving Bama football because he never went to the school. I get it, alumni’s coming home but it’s also a football game that ANYONE can attend.

Oh, I’m sure she wishes she could be there than mend a sick child, don’t we all? We all hate when children get sick that puts a damper on plans but she would most likely prefer she be the one to do it.

You’re right. I do pick on Cullen. Because I see the inequality in parenting between him and Katie. This time just happened to be at another Alabama game.

The ones who never get the whole Cullen being super into Bama football must not be in states where football is huge. I find it strange that y’all don’t get why football is huge BUT I live in Ohio and OSU football is a way of life. It’s just normal here, a way of life. The majority of people who root for OSU didn’t attend there either.

I couldn't care less about the football/alumni debate- but I agree it's unfair that Katie is the caregiver all the time. He rarely parents the kids at all- he's more like the fun uncle. I'd be pissed if my SO never helped follow through with house rules or help with sick kids. Although Katie has been slacking with parenting lately too, and it shows with Gaines.

Was anyone else bothered by the fact that they were encouraging Brooks to throw his food off the table in the last vlog... like Katie was just sitting there watching him do it and continued to give him more food to throw. Cullen just filming and laughing wasn't a surprise but Katie encouraging that kind of behavior was a little shocking.

And then Gaines came up and just took the toy out of his hands without either of them saying a word.

O-H! I'm not originally from here but I've realized in the 11ish years I've lived here that people in the West won't understand because they don't live the football fan way of life like we do here

I know if my kids are sick I prefer to take them to the Dr/Hospital
Hubby would be hopeless he has no idea of medical issues, what medication they could be on (actual names of medical conditions/medications and stuff).
Even specialist appointments I take them Hubby may come along to some of them (if we have to travel to the children's hospital) but that is
plus I find when my daughter is sick she only wants me anyway

I'm guessing Katie would feel the same and Cullen would be similar to my hubby
