Re: John and Joan (IVF grant recipients)
Has the embryo already been thawed? I'm not sure how close to the transfer date it is done, but I've seen lots of embryos that didn't make it through the thawing process.
Re: John and Joan (IVF grant recipients)
Good question i think i heard in an earlier vlog that thaw it over a few days slowly. I so hope it works for her.boredmamaneedsdrama wrote:Has the embryo already been thawed? Re: John and Joan (IVF grant recipients)
I really hope the transfer goes well. I'm very concerned for Joan if the embryo doesn't survive the transfer, it doesn't work or she miscarries. She posted on IG that the edd with this transfer will be June 30 - her due date with Maeve. I think if this ends poorly that connection will drive her over the edge. I fear this is a disaster waiting to happen.

Re: John and Joan (IVF grant recipients)
I don't think they had ANY dynamic after marriage except pregnancy. Before marriage they probably weren't thinking about kids quite so much, but they were never experienced marriage without being pregnant or trying, so their entire message is based around kids/pregnancy/Maeve/infertility. Nothing else.Kryptonite wrote:I agree!
It seems as though John is always left behind. I wonder what their dynamic was prior to Maeve? I understand that Maeve changed things, but sometimes I think their marriage wouldn't have survived by the time Maeve turned 5 because of this.

Looks like they did the transfer with the last embryo

Re: John and Joan (IVF grant recipients)
I'm surprised she isn't giving us minute-by-minute update of every bowel movement, stomach growl, temperature fluctuation, or throat tickle post-transfer! Looks like she's dedicating time to little crafts, which I think is good for her. I really liked how her beaded fox (of course ) turned out, she definitely does have talent in that realm.
I'm really rooting for them.

Is today a significant day in the saga of Maeve? She posted an insta story of candles and Maeve's picture, and said something about honoring Maeve and all the "babies who didn't come home".

I assumed it had to do with October. These are the posts that I fully understand from, Joan.
Sending lots of love to the loss mommies and daddies this month (and every month). ️

So sad that someone messed up Maeve's bench. Ppl are so heartless sometimes.

What happened to her bench?

She posted on Instagram that there was grafetti on it. She called the city but it would take months for them to get to it to fix it so she did it herself.

Re: John and Joan (IVF grant recipients)
It really didn't look like a big deal... She's acting as if the bench was completely trashed.
Re: John and Joan (IVF grant recipients)
It wasn't that big of a deal and was easily fixed with some paint. She is just too much sometimes. If she's going to have a bench at park its not crazy to expect punk teens may do that. Her reactions are so over the top and really show how mentally unstable she is. Can you imagine the poor person at city hall who took her call? Did she expect someone to go out immediately like it was an emergency? She really needs to get a grip.

Re: John and Joan (IVF grant recipients)
And they probably had no clue at all that they were tagging Maeve's Special Memorial Bench. It likely wasn't some kind of vindictive jab at her personally, just some punk teenager trying to impress another punk. I get being upset and annoyed. But I can't even imagine what she said to the poor person at City Hall.minmouse wrote:It wasn't that big of a deal and was easily fixed with some paint. She is just too much sometimes.
