Or maybe they just didn’t go over the top because they’re spending all their money on that Halloween party they’re throwing?? Wouldn’t be surprised, tbh.
Actually, having seen it, it was more extravagant than I ever did for my kids at that age. It wasn't OTT on Ollie's party level, but it was pretty insane. He looked happiest when Tal was holding him. He looked a little freaked out by his "special birthday greeting from our friends Carl and Jinger". It's weird been I feel like they definitely went all out more for Ollie's birthdays, but I still think this was too much for a two year old. I am willing to bet Finn didn't know most of the people there.

I think so, too. I thought the theme was cute, but it just seemed strange for a 2-year-old. I know they are convinced that Finn is this super baby Batman fan, but is he really? (I don't think so.) When I think of things that the average 2-year-old is into, I think of Sesame St. or Mickey Mouse or trucks or puppies or balls. This just seemed like a party for a kid, not a toddler. They are so fixated on having "toddlers," but yet they don't seem to understand what the toddler years are all about or how to parent a toddler. If Finn truly loves Batman, that is adorable - but he should also be experiencing new words, colors, shapes, sounds, textures, movements, etc. Not just plopped down in front of whatever the latest trendy movie is or to play with his parents' Lego set of the month that is full of choking hazards.

Who knows what Finn is into, right? They don't show it on the vlogs.

Apparently, he knows the "Batman" theme song from the TV show. That's really sad. Ollie barely knows his ABC'S, but Finn can sing "Nananananananana--Batman!" Bryan was proudly announcing it. And who refers to a two year olds birthday party as "An epic rager"? The fact that a toddler's favorite character is Batman, and not Barney, or Elmo, or some other more age appropriate character is pretty telling. Even Ollie's thing was Toy Story when he was 2. No wonder the go to way for those boys to play is fighting.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has a son. He looks like he's in his early 30s.

Sorry guys, all boys are different and not all are going to be into Elmo or Sesame Street no matter how hard you try. I 100% believe Finn is into Batman, because I have had two boys and both were obsessed with superheroes at that age.... and Nightmare Before Christmas.... and Star Wars. Naturally they were exposed to more educational character far more often, but no amount of pushing changes those interests. Kids love heroes, and even PJ Masks and Paw Paw Patrol are proof of that. I believe Finn likes Batman, and if he does, then I think it was nice to have a party themed around that. The live characters were too far though.

I agree with lmmomsd that the party should have been far simpler, but I don't think it would have been fair to give him an Elmo theme if he doesn't like that.

Now that I’ve contemplated a thing for a bit …
Why was there a Marvel-character performing with two DC-heroes!??!

True - but that's not really the point I was trying to make. It's fine that he's not into Sesame Street or Elmo (those were just examples), and it's also fine if he likes Batman and Star Wars. But my point was, 1. I don't really think Finn is actually all that into those things - I think M&B *want* him to be into those things, and (more importantly) 2. He's not exposed to ANYTHING age-appropriate or educational. Think about it - do we ever really see Finn playing with normal baby/toddler toys? Or watching anything but Disney movies and movies for older kids? Not often. They play with toy weapons, costumes, licensed toys, emoji crap, and play sets with little pieces and parts that most people try to keep *away* from their toddler. What about some Fisher Price or Little Tikes or Playskool? They have an awesome play kitchen that is perfect for Finn, but it's in Ollie's room! As for shows, there's all kinds of age-appropriate stuff out there. Of course he's not required to like any particular one, it's just telling that he's not a fan of any of them, that we know of, or really anything else that kids his age typically like. Plus, it one thing if a kid is exposed to a variety of different things and decides, of his own accord, that he really loves Batman...but it's a whole different story if the kid is only ever exposed to age-inappropriate stuff and that's all he has to choose from.

I have no problem with a super hero party if Finn in as into it as they say he is, I just wish they had a clue in general about what is developmentally appropriate for a toddler. It's more about that than the actual party itself.

Oh, I definitely believe that Finn is into Batman. I just don't think he should have been exposed to Batman this young. That's my point. I agree that if he likes Batman, then giving him something else as a party theme would have been bad. Maybe kids are exposed to stuff earlier. Boston was into the Hulk pretty young. I just think that a two year old should be watching PJ Masks and other more age appropriate "super hero" stuff than actual Marvel and DC characters. And having a Harley Quinn costume for the little girls is really not ok. Maybe I'm being too judgy. I imagine these days that stuff is pretty ubiquitous.

You said it much better than I did. I disagree that Finn isn't into Batman, at least to some degree. But I 100% agree that if he is, it's because he's not exposed to anything age appropriate. He doesn't have a chance to like anything more suited to his age and development.

Ollie is NOT a toddler you idiots! He’s going to be 4 1/2 soon!.
I had the impression the cleaning lady was at their house (vacuum lines, it was too tidy).
So Missy admitted she’s too lazy and can’t handle both her kids in the market. So she has to call her mom to help her. Weren’t they just out for breakfast? Why couldn’t brylard take the boys. So strange that everyone gives in to her.
Hahaha just when it’s mentioned here that we haven’t seen the chickens, they suddenly appear!
So the pool is having problems again. Don’t they have a pool guy? It’s been one thing after the other with that monstrosity.

To be fair though, the song he's singing is from the old Batman.

And kids don't need to watch a character to decide they love them. Merchandise is everywhere. Boston never watched the Hulk on tv, but decided he loved him nonetheless.

I don't necessarily disagree with you about what they may be watching, but we know they are never going to be exposed to educational tv. It's just never gonna happen. But really, I don't know that those boys need more screentime anyway, educational or otherwise. They need more engaged and intelligent parents! I'm just saying I'm happy Finn had an interest if he does, and that his parents put thought into what he might like. It could easily have been a pirate or knight (sword) themed birthday, and I'm just glad it wasn't.

I agree with whoever said Harley Quinn isn’t age appropriate. Its DISGUSTING to allow girls to dress as her... read the damn comics. And I know there’s this whole thing about how kids and innocent and all BUT if you wouldn’t allow your kid to dress up as a stripper then why is Harley Quinn ok? Yes there’s a child friendly version, let them dress as that Harley. But having your child parade around in a shirt that says daddy’s lil monster is not ok!! If you don’t know much about comics then i cannot blame you, but it’s another thing to KNOW and continue despite so...

The title isn't about Ollie it's about a tiny clip of Finn wearing the wig around 11:30 in the vlog. I took a cute screenshot but can't post it for some reason. The title today is one of those stupid two part ones.

Let’s be honest. These people (especially Wonder Crackwoman) were probably friends or relatives of their “friends” and bry bry used his “super famous YouTube power” to get them for free.
