Re: BritneyandBaby: You Just Got Brewed! (Part 30)
A friend of mine was homeless. One thing she hated is that people would donate stuff that was weeks from falling apart. Never stuff that still had plenty of use left. So I donate things that still have at least 1 season of use left. Imagine your house just burnt down and the clothes your kids get donated fall apart in a week. That would be shitty.
Considering Britney is SO BUSY and SO STRESSED you'd think she'd just pack it all up and take it down the road to a local church and be done with it.

How does someone spend over $170 on so little food? Especially when most of it is store brand?
Britney, Walmart would be a cheaper place to shop for food!

"We gotta go get nolynn" gosh why name him Nolan if you can't pronounce the damn name!
Re: BritneyandBaby: You Just Got Brewed! (Part 30)
Tbh even $20 for like 5 outfits from Old Navy is a joke because that's about $10 dollars short of store price during a sale lol. It'd have to work out to like $1 a piece to make it worth anyone's while especially considering it's probably been barfed or pooped on. I sometimes go to consignment events for my kids and here are some things Britney should know:lizpuff2006 wrote:If she did a clothing lot of say some onesies, pjs, dresses a bunch of things for 20$ I might get it. But a lot of IG shops show like 1 onesie and want to charge 5 to 10 bucks for just that one outfit. Usually though it is for things that are really expensive upfront. An old navy onesie is not going to be the windfall she has in mind....and I doubt she is going to do a lot of clothing
- For babies (really all kids under 5) 'like new' means it's something like a party dress that's been worn one or two times max. If you look at a piece of clothing and you couldn't have believably just taken the store tags off then it's not 'like new'.
- Anything like onesies/dresses/leggings/shoes that show the slightest bit of wear and tear should be priced at like $1-2 if you sell them. Doesn't matter how good the brand is, if it makes your kid look raggedy then it's not worth much. Same principal applies to shoes and coats, always under $15 max if they're even a little beat up.
- For old Old Navy, Cat and Jack etc. clothes I would expect to pay $2 and no more because they're cheap off the rack brands that I could buy full at price for $5. People will pay $10+ for stuff like Oshgosh etc because it's a good brand that's known for being hardy so it will last. You expect Old Navy to fall apart.
- Selling baby clothes is not a for profit business, it's to get rid of clutter and give the clothes a new use. I've seen moms unable to sell a dresses originally worth over $200 for $40 because they have small stains, loose threads, tears on the hemlines, fading, etc.

I might have said this before but I actually think a baby clothes boutique would be Brit's dream job if she could deal with living in the real world and take business classes etc.

Right. I don't think she realizes this. Even if the onesies were 25 cents a piece for a couple, I wouldn't want to pay shipping on it. I can go to once upon a child pretty darn easily if I want used clothing.luci417 wrote:Tbh even $20 for like 5 outfits from Old Navy is a joke because that's about $10 dollars short of store price during a sale lol. And Harlow is cute and all but I don't care if I have a piece of her or not.

Sorry for clogging up the thread (tried to edit my post but it's too late lol) but I wanted to say I hope my post didn't come off as too harsh if you're thinking of doing consignment etc. I'd recommend it to any parents, it's a great way to give clothes a new home and declutter your kids' stuff plus you find so many cute things there for so cheap! I don't want to make anyone feel self conscious about what you have to sell - I snatch up stuff like Carters onesies all the time and actually bought like 4 old navy fleeces with the ears for my girls last time lol. I just wanted to make it clear that it's not for profit and you should expect to sell - and buy!- everything super cheap because kids go hard on messing up their clothes.

You’re right. When the kids are only given junk most of the time, can’t expect them to eat good stuff. But how will they know that such foods even exist when she doesn’t even try? I don’t except anyone to eat totally clean 100% of the time, but my point was that she doesn’t even make an ounce of effort. She spends money and energy on useless things but doesn’t do what matters most. Especially with the health of Nolan and the fact that the genetic mutation in her and her daughters could manifest into some health issues (like cardiomyopathy she mentioned), you would think nutrition would be her concern and she would put extra efforts. Hell if she could just replace the white bread with whole wheat for starters. I don’t think its that difficult.Yogabbagabbat wrote:Cinnamon wrote:She does not have a single whole grain in her grocery. Everything is just refined... the bread the croissants the wraps. There are so many grains like brown rice, whole wheat, quinoa, millets, steel cut oats. None of that. And no leafy greens, beets, carrots, fermented veggies, and ton of other vegetables.. none of that. All the eat is refined carbs and meat basically. And there are so many superfoods she can include like cacao goji berries raw honey and find recipes to make delicious snacks for the kids with these superfoods instead of giving them chemical laden snacks. It angers me when parents don’t even try. Her grocery dump is so barren. No live food. Uneducated bitch.
Honestly it’s one of Britney’s better grocery hauls because at least she had some veggies thrown in. We can’t expect the kids to just all of the sudden start eating quinoa and fermented veggies when they’ve been raised on chicfila nuggets. Her haul definitely could have been worse. I don’t think it’s realistic to expect that of her or the kids.

I think it’s so awful that Nolan gets the most fast food when he’s the one that should have the best dietCinnamon wrote:You’re right. I know a few people who won't shop at Aldi because it's not decorated and it's mostly in house brands. Even if it's German chocolate [they have the best chocolates out around Christmas] or their GF or organic lines they won't. All I know is for $170 You could fill a cart to overflowing at Aldi.MommaOfThree wrote:And she is surrounded by Aldis[/img]

Kids who are used to take out will need transition foods to switch. Start with whole wheat white bread or baked bread chicken...can't go right to grilled chicken and expect him to suddenly eat plain grilled chicken when he's used to the saltiness and texture of nuggets.

and let's not forget that Nolan is on steroids now and should be on a healthy diet. With steroids weight gain is inevitable and all the junk going to his system is doing no good to him. Sooner or later when he is on a wheelchair, the last thing he wants is obesity.

Is “dinner meals” a thing that people actually say? I️ feel like she’s the only one I’ve ever heard say that...

I liked the Get to Know Nolan video just to hear Nolan speak more. He is a cute little guy. Some of his expressions look just like Aria

On the Nolan video she asks what his favorite toy is and he says “the one at target” then again at the end of the video brings up target again
Fucking sad that all he’s gonna look back on is target everyday of his life

It irritates me! And her fake laugh chuckle thing she does whenever the kids are doing something cute. But the snort thing, I just had my tonsils removed last month and now I find myself making that noise sometimes whenever I talk. I wonder if she had her tonsils removed cuz it sounds exactly like that.. Like I can't help it at all.hey girl hey007 wrote:Please someone tell me I'm not the only one who is grossed out by that nasty throat clearing/sneeze laugh she does. It's like a fake laugh but she does this weird sound before she does it. She does it when she's making fun of herself for saying something wrong too. It irks me and I can't figure out why.

Re: BritneyandBaby: You Just Got Brewed! (Part 30)
I happened to watch her "telling my fiance I'm pregnant" video (pregnant with Harriet) In the description she goes to say that with Nolan they were NTNP for 9 months ? WTF ? Aria was around 18 months when she got pregnant with Nolin. Did they really think they want a child when Aria was 8-9 months old ? Fucking crazy ! And I thought teens have to focus on getting their life together, going to school and making a living.

He originally said to take him off, then said to keep him on. I think that indecisiveness is one of the reasons she wants a 2nd opinionYogabbagabbat wrote:I thought the doctor had her take Nolan off of steroids?
