Chris folding laundry is busy work so he can be like see I'm doing something. Even if it doesn't have a point because it never gets put away and probably will get all unfolded while they look for stuff.

Years and years ago I did fly lady. The only thing I kept is every night I start a load of laundry before bed. Then in the morning I put it in the dryer, fold it and put it away. I don't sort and wash everything on cold and that helps me keep up.

I think the reason her feet are so black is because she has one of those metal doors where you can see the outside, letting dirt fly in. When I was little and lived in California my aunt had the same door and a very clean house, but dirt would come in and wouldn’t be visible on the carpet. My feet would be black after awhile even after showering.

I remember she was putting Sadie's food and water on the counter and that's unhygienic enough as is. Cat goes to litter box, stands in its own waste, then goes and walks over the kitchen counters and stands there to eat. Makes me feel sick thinking about it, god knows what she does about the litter box.

I dunno - I have a screen door like that, and we have all our doors and windows open all day (it's summer here) and don't have black feet. We live on a busy main road too.
