I cant stand labradors for their smell and their ugly uncomfortable tails. I don't find them to be good looking dogs either, don't get why they're popular. Much rather have a German Shepherd.

I agree. I’ve been thinking this for a few months now. It feels like she’s trying to hard & it’s just cringing & annoying.

I don't want to pile on Olivia, but I can't handle the way she mugs for the camera if Joel or Bonnie are talking and she's anywhere in frame. I do think it is partly the age and being not just the oldest but the only girl. I was ready to throttle my niece when she was that age.

I had to laugh at Bonnie complaining about Boston being whiney and blaming it on him being a four year old boy. There are vlogs from the past two years with him being just as whiney. Especially after he had healed from his biopsy. She spoiled him a lot after his biopsy (as pretty much any mom would) and he was insufferable. We were wondering how he was going to handle being treated normally again. So it's not just the age...

Even though I already knew it was just a ball that Bonnie ran over the sound of the pop and Cody’s crying made my heart skip a beat. She really needs to be more careful, they have big vehicles and small children and even though she knew where the kids were she had olivia running beside the car and she was vlogging and she clearly wasn’t paying 100% attention to her surroundings or she would have seen Cody drop the ball. Hopefully the millisecond that she thought she had hit one of the kids will be enough to scare her into being more careful.

Bonnie shouldn't vlog and drive. No one should. Period. It makes me sick to think that she could've ran over something much more important and irreplaceable than a ball and she would've had the whole thing on film.

Oh man, I've got this family on the brain too much.... they infiltrated my dream last night!!!

So I was at dinner with my husband, and Bonnie and Joel and Landon and Julie were there. After some
Inappropriate laughter over a sauce that reminded everyone of semen (Griffiths humor?), it came up that my husband was getting a vasectomy (which he is, lol). At this point Bonnie, in all her intelligence goes, "Well, where is all the pee going to go?". And thus led to me having to explain how getting snipped works and how a mans bladder is not stored in his balls....

Lord these Griffiths are a special bunch, hahaha....

Ugh. I hate that Bonnie seems to envy Ellie’s home.

I feel like we definitely saw a less controlled illustration of Jackson and Calvin. Jackson used to be my favourite YT kid, but he’s becoming louder and more “put on” like his parents. Calvin is, and always has been just cringeworthy to me, and I really think that there is something “off” about him that instinctually I keep picking up on that makes me feel uncomfortable because it isn’t being given proper attention. Lincoln is just so much more engaged and talkative! It’s hard not to compare even though I realize children all development at different rates.

“Lincooooooln!” “Jacksooooon!” Was ADORABLE. And just points out how far behind Calvin is even more. Even die hard fans have to notice, right?

Yes, I agree about Calvin. He is almost three and is clearly delayed, although I still think he's rather sweet! I liked watching this relaxed version of Jackson in Bonnie's vlog, and as usual Lincoln was exceptionally cute. I would enjoy watching vlogs coming from this home much more if these were the people in them all the time!

Wow, we all know how much better Lincoln talks but today’s vlog with lots of footage of the two of them together just highlights how much more advanced he is. It really seems like Lincoln is older, not Calvin, in terms of looks and communication. Even with Jackson and Boston making jokes about poops and farts Lincoln was reacting (either he understood those words or he was imitating them) and Calvin had no reaction he just continued to sit there and drink.

So, I’ve only ever watched Bonnie’s vlog sporadically, but I’m watching daily now because apparently they’re the only ones who can stick to a regular schedule anymore.

I regret not doing this sooner. She’s way more unpolished than the other top vloggers. I laugh out loud at least 3 times per video. And it’s refreshing to see how much Joel adores his wife. I swear, sometimes he’s looking at her like you KNOW he’s all over her when the camera turns off.

And, even though their vlogs are more “raw” or realistic I guess, they’re still well edited, the pacing is nice, the background music isn’t overwhelming. From a technical standpoint, the videos are well “produced” for amateur video.
Does only Joel edit, or does Bonnie help out too? I’m holding out hope for at least one of the vlogging wives to be hands on with the technical stuff. Most aren’t, but if any of them are likely to, it’s probably Bonnie.

All right. Enough gushing. I’m sure if I stick around long enough I’ll find stuff to snark and gossip about.

She used to do all of the editing (or at least most of it), but when Joel quit his job he took over as editor. She did do it the other day to help him out and give him a “day off,” but I’m not sure how much she really edits these days. Joel seems to be better at it and adds funny clips and sounds. She was decent, but he just seems to put more effort into it.

Someone asked Te age gap between linlcon and calvin. Bonnie said 2 months but pretty sure it’s 3 months. Calvin may 23 and linc August 18? Feel like Bonnie rounds it down to not make it seem as bad lol

In Bonnie's vlog today she said how the kids were going to eat a slice of banana bread and a glass of milk for dinner because the soup didn't come out right and it was close to bed time. I've noticed Bonnie does this a lot, she will give a weird "dinner" or meal that is really small and not a meal at all. I just find it weird because I know in my family, whether my mom screwed up on dinner or it didn't come out right, she'd whip something else up or order in or something. I never got sent to bed with just a piece of banana bread for dinner. Sure, they're probably not starving to death but I just side eye that a little bit

It seems like they don't keep much food in the house, except for "treats" (candy) on top of the fridge. When the soup went bad the other day she acted like she had no clue what they'd do and told Joel to pick something up. I feel like you should always have something on backup for dinner even if it's something like a can of ravioli or a box of mac and cheese.

This was the most shocking part of the vlog to me. It’s not just Calvin’s lack of speech, it’s his lack of social cues and interaction, and in my opinion it’s not just shyness. Lincoln was having a conversation with them! I could argue that Calvin was drinking something and didn’t laugh because of that, but I know that’s not what was happening.

For the past year I’ve been saying “I’m very interested to see what Calvin’s like when he’s three” but he’s three in just three months, and I can’t see much changing from now until then. And if that is the case, he’ll probably have a regression of some sort when the baby comes too. At this point, I’m interested to see what he’ll be like when he’s four.

i generally have nothing nice to say about family vloggers in general because well its unhealthy and wrong. but Bonnie always seems like full of happiness, like the world is ready for her everyday. when something goes wrong she puts on a smile a finds reasoning to solve is with a cheery sobby line from a self help book, but can anyone truely be that happy? shes always giggling and her glass in spilling over the edge of fullness in her life. im a pretty glass half empty kind of person, i see negatives in everythings, but can someone be that happy all the time?

But we all said way back when we first suspected Joel had quit that he was going to be unfulfilled being a YouTuber. Most of us thought it was going to make him nuts to be home all the time, just filming and editing vlogs. I am just surprised it took him this long to get unfulfilled enough to need a day. Remember how long it took for them to admit he'd quit his job in the first place? And the thing with the hair, nails and eyelashes is that it's every week or so, and this is Joel's first "break" since he quit his job isn't it? Bonnie got her girls trip to Hawaii, but Joel hasn't gone off with the guys, has he?
I think it would be great for him to renovate houses and rent them out. A lot of people said that from the beginning of his being at home. And didn't Bonnie always say that they drive each other crazy when they're home together 24/7? I would much rather see Joel renovating houses than any collab with Ellie!

I realize you aren't talking about me so I shouldn't take offence, but I just want to point out that Bonnie's routine cumulatively probably takes less time than simply doing makeup everyday or painting her nails a few times a week like Ellie. I have lash extension and nails done, and I only go in once every month or so. Like me, Bonnie has said that she files her nails between treatments and does a polish to extend their lifetime. This means she's really only going in for a fill every month or so for at most an hour. For her lashes she can go anywhere from once every 4-6 weeks depending on how long they last, for at most 1.5 hrs (with a good tech). I don't have hair extensions, but I do have grey, so I've started going every 6 weeks for touchups and that means I'm away from my kids for a couple of hours. It so worth it though. Even with extensions Bonnie wouldn't be going weekly to get her hair done. More like every few months. We are talking at most an average of 6 hours away from the kids in a period of two months for body care. If she went to the gym every day that would be one week of time. Of course one can argue that the gym would be better for her health, but maybe looking good is better for her mental health? She doesn't do her makeup or hair most days, so if getting these treatments done makes that easier, then I don't see the big deal, or why it's always brought up like something she should be ashamed of. It may be shallow to some, but beauty has always been a priority and a hobby to her, and who are we to judge a mom that at least has interests? You need to have a life outside of your family, as we are seeing with Joel.

my opinion is this. youtube is the worst things humans have ever done. as humans we dont desire to work and tire our selves out...no....but we also are not a simple as cat napping on the sofa all day and doing nothing with our lives. humans crave productivity just like all animals, we NEED to find person, and we do that by money, hobbies, socialising whatever does it for people. but all youtubers, quite there life goals or opputunitys of a real life, just to be at home 24hrs doing a 2 hour edit everyday. if they didnt have kids, they would be in a nut house by now. staying at home everyday only sounds like a dream when you dont live it. being a youtuber is a life sentence...literally! My husband and i work offline when we get the chance. and at first a week or so, its cool, eat when i want, go out if we need to get eggs whatever lol. but after a month, you start loosing your humanity. i got seriously depressed because i felt like i was in a prison cell. everything became repetitive. days were hard to keep existing for me. 0 socialising, 0 purpose other then making money... its boring. being at home all day is not in our functions

I don’t think Bonnie is happy 100% of the time at all. She’s had her struggles and her hard times and she has vloggers them as well, like when they found a lump in Boston’s neck and they thought it could be cancer for example. Bonnie and Joel fight and they talk about it on the vlogs. I do think she is generally a pretty happy person and she does live a very nice life and she is aware of that. We just have to remember that vlogs are just a persons high light reel and Bonnie isn’t going to vlog when she’s yelling at her kids or fighting with her husband or whatever.

You’re making an awful lot of broad statements about all people based on your personal preferences.

Not ALL people need regular socialization to feel fulfilled. In fact, for most of human history, the immediate and select extended family was all the social interaction most people had for large periods of the year. Harvests festivals were the most social time of the year because winter, sowing and tending season were spent with only a handful of people.

It is MORE common to be an introvert. And there is NOTHING wrong with that.

If YOU feel isolated and depressed without social stimulation, that’s YOUR preference. And there’s nothing wrong with that. But it doesn’t make your way the right or only way.
