The nonmaternity tights I have go that high up too if I pull them haha. I usually fold them over and just wear a tanktop underneath if it's a sheer shirt.
What a weird outfit to wear to go shopping for wedding dresses..

I've never used the phrase ratchet to describe someone... Does it mean gross or unattractive? I looked it up on urban dictionary (what I use often to keep up with new lingo lol) but there are different "definitions" on there.
I think ratchet just means trashy... Could be wrong, but that's what I've always seen it as.

In the US, spaz isn't a derogatory term. It can mean wild, hyper, energetic... Basically that he goes nonstop and is just a crazy kid - not that there's anything wrong with him physically, mentally, or developmentally
Side note - before my car accident in January, the last place I left was my friend Eric's house. I took him home after shooting pool and got in my accident on the way to my house from his house. His high school nickname was "Spaz"
