Labor can stall, but that means you don't progress, not that it stops completely. Contractions have to stay a certain frequency and duration over a period of time to be considered true labor

I guess I could give them the benefit of the doubt because it's true neither one of them have experienced labor ( heck I haven't either lol) but once your hospital and her whole super team of midwives, doulas, Mimis, aunties have probably told you you're baby is not ready to come out, that should alert you that you're not in actual labor and should probably stop forcing your body and baby to go into labor. Sure, maybe they just wanted to be sure if she was in labor and that the baby was ok given their history and so they went to the hospital, but now I think it's pretty crystal clear that she is most likely NOT in labor. Accepting you're wrong is a great characteristic to have. Being wrong is not something terrible, you can learn and move on.

This was all a hoax to steal the future impending spotlight from the Nulls. "Oh, you had your baby naturally and with no issues?? Well Missy from Daily Bumps labored for 2 months before Finn finally arrived so maybe take a lesson or two from a good mother."aral12 wrote:OMG I can't believe you have come up with this conspiracy theory after watching 10 minutes of footage! Stop being rude about missys labour methods, everyone labours differently! Be rude again and she will block you! She's taking the advice of professionals remember!cats-or-die wrote:I think Missy duped everyone. Princess faked contractions and labor to make everyone feel sorry for her and somehow get induced.
Exhibit A: her weird *~painful*~ eye twitch.
Exhibit B: claiming she labored all night but Bryan claiming they got tons of rest.

I would love for a midwife to write and sign off with credentials to let them know this is NOT labor. Sad thing is, Mithy will still know more. If an OB with 50 years experience responded she'd still know more (not that an OB would ever watch this craziness!).

I love how she is "listening" to her midwife now...but the other day when she said her midwife thinks baby is around 8lbs Missy didn't believe that..

Ever since she hit 30 something weeks I feel like they've been dragging this whole labor thing out. Atleast it feels that way. They think they're being genuine and showing how "labor really is" because the younger viewers will belive them. Especially with their lack of knowledge on this subject. They're single handedly destroying their more mature audience because they can't handled being criticized. The younger ones would believe anything.

Re: DailyBumpsonOllie'sHead: Part 39
Good point! You can't really keep two year olds in bed for long-- my youngest sister was always getting up and running around after she thought she was ready to get up, at that age. It's horrible that they'd try to blame it on Cassie, though, when she's really been doing a better job with Ollie than them.aral12 wrote:internetexploring wrote:That caption really sat wrong with me as well-- you can't just suddenly switch things up on small kids out of the blue. They thrive on routine and structure, and just suddenly changing things right and left isn't going to help the kid at all. Ollie was likely scared as all get out when B&M suddenly left, and obviously clung to his parents once they were back for that reason.kittypurry wrote:Bryan posted a pic with the caption "I think he missed us". Well yeah, Bry, he had no idea what was going on and his mom was moaning and his dad was running around like a decapitated chicken and then he gets left with his auntie for a couple days.
Also, in the vlog Missy said that morning Ollie got out of bed and went to Cassie's room...which I'm assuming was the guest room. Hmm, I wonder why Ollie would go straight to the guest room instead of his parent's room...

It's not really switching things up on him though- missy has had Cassie getting Ollie up in the morning for almost the entire last fortnight (that we know of) and a lot before that that we haven't been shown. They start vlogging around 11 earliest each day so the other days I'm pretty sure she has already gone home. That's the real sad thing. That waking up and going to his teenage auntie who should have her own life in her own house and NONE of this responsibility is NORMAL for this kid!!! Also it's so freakin convenient that the "first time" he gets out of his bed and goes wandering is the time Cassie stays over. 99% sure he does it all the time and they just won't admit to it so they're trying to "blame" it on Cassie.

I haven't watched the vlogs too much over the last few weeks because of school getting busy-- has she really been getting him up daily? Damn. I feel bad for Cassie-- she should be starting her own life around now, but she's taking care of her older sister's kid.

DailyDunces-LyingAboutLabor
Except I don't think they think they're lying, I think they're dumb enough to think what they're saying is legit. There is false labor, and early labor, and then there's being the most uncomfortable you've ever been but still not being in labor. And of course they're milking it. I wonder if any of Pissy's respected professionals have told her it's not productive labor yet, and if she's been choosing to say she's in labor anyway.
