Right!? I came here to say the same. It looked like she had baby spit up on her shirt >.<

I feel like it's a competition, or even her personal alarm clock. B puts her video and V sees it and is like okay! It's time to upload mine!

I'm sorry but the teacher shouldn't have to watch just Lilly And every move she makes. Someone comment on her video as well saying the same thing And V commented back how yeah they should and how there was 2 teachers and only ten kids in the room. Umm I'm sorry but Lilly isn't there main concern during the day there 9 other kids in the room they have to look after. I tried to look for this comment who mentioned it but V deleted it.

V responded and also said Lilly was tested and she doesn't fit for the special needs class.

As a teacher you really need to try to watch as much of every student as possible. It's very difficult and sometimes things go unnoticed but teachers need to do as best as they can to figure out strengths and weaknesses and tendencies of all their students

If the teachers know a student has an LD or is DD or just struggling the teacher should be focusing in more on that student ensuring they are getting the extra attention and help they need, while still watching over the Rest of the class

10 kids with 2 teachers is really good for Pre-K typically the ratio's are much higher like 12 kids to 1 teacher. We are also only hearing Vanessa's view on it about what the teacher noticed, heck Vanessa herself didn't notice an issue (or at least never admitted to it)

But according to Vanessa, up until this point, she didn't have a learning disability, only a speech delay. I would not be happy if I were paying for my child to go to preschool and the teachers gave other kids extra attention. That is not right. Once they get into public school, there are resources available to help your child so the teacher can focus on all the students. Vanessa should have been the one talking to the teachers weekly to make sure things were going ok and finding out if lily was struggling with anything and then Vanessa would be the one to get her the resources she needed. A private preschool is not responsible for those things.

What does being a private preschool have to do with it? It's a teacher's job to know their students and differentiate lessons and/or recommend students for services. Teachers aren't teaching to a classroom full of air, they're teaching individuals whom they need to make sure meet their goals. Preschool, private, public school, the teachers are still trained to do this. The earlier interventions happen, the better. Also, once Lily is in public school she legally has to be in the least restrictive environment, which for her would probably be a regular classroom with 30 other students and a few hours of pull-out services a week. She is not going to be in a resource room all day getting special attention on her. Every single teacher has to make sure Lily learns, whether they're working with her only or a classroom full of diverse learners.

I guess I was trying to say that a private preschool does not have to provide resources and services like speech, occupational etc therapy. Yes they can recommend it but they don't need to have therapists on staff. Maybe they didn't see any problems. Vanessa states that she doesn't always complete her art projects which can be very common for preschool aged kids.

And the jogging stroller she got, I think she only used it like 5 times.

Be prepared for a fitness update, or video. Or suddenly she will vlog her using the stroller.
Hi Vanessa!
Probably means she's not using her Fitbit either. The one she's got isn't cheap, I paid £120 for mine, which makes me sad because Lily always goes without.

Even if she's not working out she should still wear her fitbit :/ I wear mine everyday. Gotta get those steps in.

Preschool teachers have lesson plans, and a daily schedule. If there are 10 kids there is no way they are going to hover over one child. It trips me out how some parents feel since they are paying for care at a facility that their child will get attention as if they had a nanny. The only way any child in a daycare setting gets any "special" attention is if they are favored. If the teachers don't like the parents it is highly probable that they don't like the child. Rest assured if V goes in that classroom speaking about what she is doing for the day like: going to Target, going back home, or going to run some asinine errands (basically nothing) especially on days that Lily is sick, the teachers won't like her. A teacher also can tell when a child is being cared for at home that also has a reflection of how a child is treated in a classroom setting. Lily does not look well kept. Her hair is always a mess and I would not be surprised if V does not bathe her often.

Long story short, V if you want special care for your child hire a specialized nanny. The teachers at a daycare will be about as involved in your child's development as you are, your half assing so you should know what to expect.

I feel Lily needs intensive special ed services at this point and most private preschools are not in a position to deliver those services. Preschool teachers should be flexible in their approach and curriculum of course but most of them have no special ed training. And Lily needs a specialist.

Wow. If teachers pay attention to kids just long enough to tell if their "well kept" and only like kids that they get along with the parents, then we have a huge problem that needs to be dealt with.

I'm sure there are a lot of teachers who care for those kids extra because they know they need it more than the "well kept" kids. At least I freaking hope so.

Nitpicking, but one of my social media pet peeves is when people think it's funny to make fun of the people in the background of your photos and call them "creepy" or "stalkerish" . -__-

I worked at a daycare and most of what you said was not true. Yeah, there were parents that we hated, but we never treated the children differently. It's very easy to tell which children need more attention then others. Lily needs to be in a school that specializes in learning disabilities. The price is high for those schools, but the outcome is worth it. If she's not willing to cough up the money then it shows how she's a crappy parent. It's very obvious lily has learning disabilities and possibly mental disabilities as well. I know she wants her to be as "normal" as possible, but she's hurting her along the way.

By the way Vanessa treats Lily's special needs she'll be most likely stuck in a special ed class, Vanessa doesn't work with her she relies on speech therapists and teachers while she shops at target and talks to her like a baby.

Well if she does need a special Ed class she won't be stuck in there.... She will be placed there because she needs it

Being stuck in special Ed it you are indeed special Ed is not a bad thing.

You're hilarious! Vanessa is calling an onlooker creepy, yet she is taking a creeper picture of David.

I hope someone takes a picture of Vanessa with the caption, "this weird girl just put her camera on the grocery shelf, walked all the way back just to film herself." Or "this creepy girl is talking to the camera and is poking her husbands and daughters food."
