Some of these YouTube parents are so lazy and strange that the children would really be better off having nannies. I have never nannied, but I have babysat and I interact more with the children in one hour than B&M seem to all day. Plus teach them things, which they learn extremely fast. And it's not that hard to do. But I guess it's easier if you really like kids.
I'm a full time nanny of almost 8 years and in my own personal and professional opinion, I don't think any nanny in their right mind would stick around with the Bumps for too long. They're home all the time, which many nannies can't stand, and Missy is a control freak. She wants things her way only, and has no ability to allow others to come in and do something their way. She made that clear with her "my kids my way" comments.
They don't need a nanny. They need to fucking wake up and parent their children. Kids are more than buddies and a fun time. They need to be taught literally everything. Oliver and Finn may be healthy and well taken care of in a shallow aspect, but those poor kids are going to be leaps and bounds behind other kids their age when it comes time for school.
And to whoever is criticizing the doctors wanting a night nanny, give me a goddamned break. If I was a doctor, with all those years of med school behind me and an awesome job in front of me, you damn well bet I wouldn't give it all up just to have a child?? And a night nanny is so much less involved than a day nanny. I'm not sure why it's a bad thing. I wouldn't want my surgeon exhausted from being up with a baby all night? Would you?
