I'm usually kind of dumbfounded by the choices they make as parents (and as a high school teacher, I shudder to think of what Ollie will be like at 16 if they don't make some serious changes soon), but I was always really pleased that they have made such a serious commitment to swim class. That's really important, and it's pretty awesome that Ollie is such a confident little guy in the water at only 3 years old. It's particularly important given that they have a pool.

What shocks me, though, is the utter lack of rules around the pool. I feel like very swim class or public pool I ever went to had two HUGE rules: NO RUNNING and NO PUSHING PEOPLE INTO THE POOL. Ollie is constantly running around the edge of the pool, though -- and we all saw the video about pushing mom into the pool. I just can't believe that rule hasn't at least been introduced at the swim lessons and then Missy and Bryan can just reinforce it at home (I mean -- I CAN, because ... you know ... the title of this very thread, but still ...).

Also -- the 5k race that they talked so much about and then didn't actually participate in? Amazing. Hahaha!

Bryan and Missy are basically teenage parents! They never grew up and became real adults - they are not living in real time at all

They only film for footage - clearly Missy doesn't want to do a potty training video because I'm sure they keep him in pullups most of the time anyway, who knows if this kid is really being "potty trained" for real.

Also - is it just me or do they both act more like friends living together than spouses? They never have real spouse conversations. It's more like a "buddy system"

I don't wear shoes inside my own house and I get annoyed when my husband does but I'd be so weirded out if a guest came over and took their shoes off. Like it's almost rude, unless they are staying the night or something.

Maybe we should make a "What Are Your Shoe Habits?" thread. I am usually pretty tolerant of the off topic tangents because I like hearing about some of the other cultures of people who participate in the forum. But please, can we let this one go? It's been going on for a few pages now. Shows how boring the vlogs are.

Bryan's view is terrible compared to Shay's Not bad by any means, but really paltry compared to the beauty of Shay's. And I don't even like Shay.
