I don't see how building themselves their "dream" home is inspiring or "giving back". They are so self absorbed!

It's so ridiculous, it's almost laughable! Lol. They just spent a lot of money on themselves then proceeded to pat themselves on the back for "giving back".... I literally just can't with this family. Unsubscribed!

Also, this sure does highlight how materialistic they are. They're presenting themselves as if they've reached the top. Money really doesn't buy happiness and that fake world they live in will eventually break down.

Thought it was really funny that Jared spoke about giving back in today's vlog. I mentioned on here quite a few pages back what do they actually do to give back to the community. Admittedly (and I know I might get banned for this) I posted the same comment/question on their channel. Naturally I was flocked by people who thought I was a lowlife hater but interestingly enough the comment gathered enough likes to indicate I clearly wasn't the only one who wondered that. So I may be reaching but I think that creeped into Jared's subconscious a bit.

Didn't see your comment and just said the same thing lol. Thats exactly what I thought when he first started talking about giving back.

It was a good response on their channel comments and I am not surprised you got a lot of negative feedback. My thoughts are Jared could do something quietly without presenting it on YouTube or a simple message we do give back to our community. Instead, I think he'll make giving back a YouTube production.

Is that what their talk was at the end. I skipped it. I don't like when they preach or tell me how inspirational they are. As I have said I found them from watching Bonnie. My daughter refers toBonnie as the good one and Ellie as the yucky one , yes my daughter is 26 and getting her Phd in English.

I unsubscribed from Mormon vloggers. I'm not religious and I find myself rolling my eyes each time they start preaching à la Shay Carl and think they're better than everyone else and inspiring because of their religion. Jared reminds me of Ned Flanders with his dumb "swear" words and huge fake/creepy smile.

I feel so bad for poor Jackson, all alone in his prison.. err.. bedroom. At least some prisons have windows where you can see the outside world. I would feel so claustrophobic in there and it doesn't look safe at all for a toddler. I don't know the Utah or American laws but I'm a realtor and in my country a room with no direct light or view from the outside is not considered a bedroom.

Is Jared's brother, Matt, going to move to Utah? I have the feeling that he quit his job and they're house hunting. There is no way he would have so many vacation days when a few months ago he could barely get a couple days off.

Jared hung his office artwork way too high, it should've been at most level with the doorframe.

I agree...they need that decorator back to hang it and this artwork print should had been larger like Jared stated. I would frame this print. His dream office has had issues for someone who spent so much time designing it.

I agree to build this house with no view on the lower level is a poorly designed home, but it is a legal bedroom with egress windows. Jackson's view might likely be mice and birds trapped in the window well.

I also think Matt has been gone way too long from his job to be working there now.

Yes, it looked like PT tape. He's probably seeing a child specialist so they have fun colors.

Also, remember that pedicure was occurring while Calvin at Jared were at the PT appointment. Anything to avoid Ellie actually attending herself... lol she probably thought she got out of it the day before with her lame shopping excuse but then had to think of a good excuse as to why she couldn't attend the actual appointment real quick! Pedicures with mom it was.

Do they not have any real plates? Or did Ellie only buy two?? Poor Matt was eating his dinner off a pink toddler plate. I also had to laugh at the "I accidentally ordered two pizzas! I didn't mean to!" comment too. Normal people would buy two pizzas for 5 people and think nothing of it.

Back during the building process she had a "haul" video showing off those toddler plate and some matching cups like they were the greatest things she has ever seen. I said something then about if they had real dishes they were bringing from the apt to the new house (like wedding gift dishes) or if they were just gong to sit in their fancy new house and eat off primary colored plastic kids plates... apparently i was right.

It's disgusting and sad that she could give two shits about that baby and his neck issues. Normal mothers would try and do everything they could to attend appts like this, Ellie does everything she can to get OUT of going. I may get backlash for saying this but she is the sorriest excuse for a mother i have ever seen. Between her starving her kids bc she is projecting her eating disorder on to them and having ZERO to do with Cal's medical issues, she infuriates me. There are many more things than that that makes me dislike her...

I agree. I think there are a lot of YT moms that suck, but Ellie is the only one I think might actually be at risk of damaging her children. She has many issues that I think she needs therapy for, and unfortunately she feels she's perfect and I don't see her ever putting her children first.

The mousetrap in the window well makes me so sad. They make clear lucite well covers to keep things out. The last thing I would want my child seeing out their window is a distressed and suffering animal.

I agree with the thought that his brother Matt quit his job. I find it so strange that he flew out to see Jared and as soon as he got home from that trip, he packed his family up and proceeded to drive out to Utah to visit Jared again. They have since been on a giant road trip and are once again visiting Utah. He mentioned in a recent video that he has 2 weeks of "vacation" time left. I find it suspicious because this whole trip was unplanned. He had no plans to go on a road trip with his family when he spent the money to fly out to Utah initially. I believe he is under the impression that if he fully commits to the daily vlogs by quitting his job, then he will find success like his brother. However, I think it's a foolish decision! They have a very low viewership count and no matter how bad they would like the easy money, it might not work out for them

Of course Ellie is always sick, she's skinny as hell. Any doctor will tell you that eating well is the key to avoid colds, etc. at winter time.

I know it's gonna sound mean but I just don't find Calvin cute. At all. he looks like he fell off the ugly tree and hit all the branches on his way down. Jackson is adorable and I bet he had the time of his life with his grandma, Matt and his cousins, away from his obnoxious parents.

When they were in the car and Ellie said that they drove up yesterday and had to drive up again and she was glad....I thought for sure she'd say "because now I can go to!" but noooo, gotta give Jennifer a pedicure because she was rear-ended days ago by a "20 year old texting"

Essie is clearly a sponsorship. So making money off of sponsors is more important than attending your child's appointment. She really cannot face that he needs help for his neck.

I agree and I think he has the YouTube bug (house, car etc...) and thinks he can achieve what Jared has done...he is going to Vlogger Fair. I think it is a risky move with a house/mortgage in Texas and after two years of not a great number of subscribers.

The lure to easy money must be great for these dads. But you still have to feed a family during the interim.

What does his brother do for a living? He has 30,000 and some subs. I really hope he didn't quit his job.
