She just did a cleaning video of her laundry room and her washer and dryer was bought used and is hella beat up but it gets the job done! Love that!

I love you for this gif. Best. Movie.

Conspiracy theory:

Ollie's speech is fine but he can no longer feel his tongue because of electrical shock damage to the nerves, which makes it difficult for him to pronounce words properly. He wanted to mention the pain to his father but he saw how happy it made Bryan and Camera so he just put up with it.

Jeez. That was dark.

When Missy said she wanted to enjoy being a family of four... more like 6,7,8.... 11? Mimi, Papa, Cassie, 4 johnsons. When are they ever just a family of four?

Also "Ollie is at an age" he can't figure out the bike. But Jackson rides his really well and he's months younger. Don't blame it on age Missy, you just don't help him/teach him to do anything.

I counted 10 "huh"s in today's video. What they say and how they pronounce words, I can't stand it anymore!!!!!!
So, they're supposed to keep Luna on a lead while she's in the house? Let's see how long that will last!

Wait, why are they meant to keep Luna on a lead in the house? (I gave up watching around the time they got Luna)

Toward the end of yesterday's vlog, Bryan said they had a trainer out and were instructed to keep her on a lead, while in the house, to establish dominance.

Missy is like such a rude mom to Finn, the poor baby couldn't even keep his eyes open - just so she could get some extra sleep the poor baby has to suffer with her stupid tin foiled dark room. She should sleep in there and get some light hit her in the morning, let's see how she likes it!!

Yes he loves Tal because she is such a sweet and loving mom, she spends time with her kids and teaches them things - you can learn from her Missy!

Bryan just needs any excuse to show off their new appliances - Missy doesn't do any housework so why bother getting such high end one's? You could tell she very rarely does any dishes because sippy cups can be hand washed right away, for someone who doesn't do anything else all day you would think she would atleast do that so that her kids always have clean cups to use and not have to wait for the dishwasher!!

A lot of babies sleep in super dark rooms. It helps them sleep longer. I don't see anything wrong with that. A well rested baby is a happy baby. I hope she gets a blackout shade though. They have the money.

The problem is the amount of sleep she wants Finn to take. 7pm-9am, then two naps. That's almost 20 hours sleeping. Yes children need sleep, but do they need only 4 waking hours a day?

Looks like they left Big Bear too soon! One of my friends just posted this picture. Remember how he was complaining about the man-made snow? It's snowing like crazy there now! Not that it would make any difference. They would still slide down the bunny slopes on their butts instead of slaloming. No wonder Ollie didn't like skiing. With all the money they throw at things, they couldn't get him an instructor for a couple of hours? If someone who knows how to ski for real, and knows how to teach kids to ski taught him, instead of Bryan just saying "Remember French fries and pizza", he might have enjoyed it. They set him up to fail.Image

Double post, sorry. But I have noticed a contradiction with the way B&M treat Ollie. He's really spoiled, yes. But as we've noticed, they also really control some of his choices. For example, they take away his cousin's Hatchimals, and give them to him instead, but they don't let him choose the names for them. They gave him a designer $1000 kitten, and said "it's _your_ cat" but wouldn't let him name her, either. Confusing for the poor guy, I am sure.

Agree!! They limit his creativity, self-expression, emotional development, and independence. For example, they tell him what to think or feel instead of observing and accepting what he's actually thinking and feeling. They ask, "did you have fun today?" instead of saying "I'd like to hear about your day; what can you tell me about it? What did you do? How did it feel? What do you think about it?"

Uhuh... I work for an SPCA and have never heard that from any of the dog trainers I've met but sure... (more like they don't have to worry about watching her properly if she is on a lead and can't run off)

Exactly. They only ask him yes or no questions! It's so weird juxtaposed with the way they spoil him, but then again, maybe it's not. Giving him whatever he wants when he wants it is just another way of not dealing with him.
I know we're always comparing B&M to C&K, but it really stood out today. Gaines had a little book out, and they were playing I Spy. So there's another way Gaines is learning colors and adjectives without "being stuck behind a desk" like Missy thinks a child has to be for learning to occur. Another vlogger, Smelly Belly, has a daughter Ollie's age, and every day, at the end of the day, they ask her what her favorite part of the day was. And she always thinks really hard, and comes up with something all on her own. There's a lot of stuff they do that bug me, but they encourage their kids to think!

I'm sure they spared no expense and hired the most expensive dog trainer. I wasn't paying that close of attention but did Bryan say they were sending her away to obedience school? Ollie said "I wanna keep her!" Bryan had to explain that it was just school. Poor kid probably remembers them giving his cat away.

The author of that article sounds like a terrible dog owner and trainer to me, so I hope no one else listens to this advice. Barely pet your dog, don't let your dog play until they have "earned the privilege," don't let people outside your family pet the dog, don't let your dog play with other dogs, don't vaccinate your dog, most shelter dogs have genetically faulty tempers. No. Just no.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty sketchy, but I was using it to show that at least _someone_ who calls themselves a trainer subscribed to the theory.
Sending her away to obedience school? So typical. Not putting in the time and effort themselves. Especially dumb with a smart dog like an Aussie, it seems to me. Shouldn't they be the ones training Luna so that she realizes that they are the boss?

Yeah the leash thing is a waste of time for them because even that guy (who I agree with the other poster, he seems rather sketchy and I would not take his advice at all) talks about it in terms of developing a pack structure and for that you have to consistently show you are the boss which the Bumps clearly are not capable of doing. Plus the obedience school is going to do piss all if they do not consistently reinforce behaviours and continue training her at home. My puppy just hit 6 months and we still have training time each day, give positive reinforcement when he does toilet outside, etc. I honestly think they got lucky with Karma - I know some people here think he is neurotic but for his breed and the lack of stimulation he seems to get, I think he is pretty good! He could be a LOT worse in terms of his behaviour in that situation. I think the chances of them getting as lucky with Luna are slim, especially since I do think Missy at least put in some proper training with Karma. They should be going to puppy classes for socialisation and learning, and probably taking Ollie so he can "help" with training
