Overall the graduation was super boring but I have to admit I couldn't help but tear up a bit when they saw David for the first time. Oops.

I was happy to see David pay so much attention to Lily, she needs it from one parent at least.

That Vlog brought back a lot of memories for me from when my husband graduated Basic. It's crazy to me how much I have in common with Vanessa. Married to my high school sweetheart who is in the military. My daughters name is Lily Elizabeth also & she had the same surgery that Vanessa's Lily did. Still don't like Vanessa though. Lolol

The clips of David and Lily were really sweet. Poor girl must have missed her dad a lot. I can't help but notice he seems more affectionate with Lily than Vanessa is.

About the zoning out thing, I noticed it and just assumed it had to do with her turners syndrome but wasnt sure.

I just watched the vlog and I had to skip through a lot of it. It was really boring and not put together well. Just a bunch of chopped up clips.
I think this is great for David. But such bad timing. I think Vanessa is stressec and trying to look like she has it all together when in reality she's a wreck.

First time poster but long time lurker. I'm a short girl at 4'10 and I'm not exactly skinny. But my 10 month old daughter is super tiny and skinny. But she eats all the time. Some times babies are just naturally smaller the same way a grown person may naturally be skinny or chubby.

True. It's not the first time I noticed it either. I don't think it's normal for kids to zone out and block out someone talking to them, even if they're tired.. unless they're doing it on purpose but it doesn't seem like Lily was.

I had this teacher in Junior high and her daughter used to zone out and just stare blankly at them she didn't realize she was zoned out and basically her parents noticed and she was put on medication I forgot the name of the condition but it's possible it could be that

Was it possibly Absence Seizures? I got tested for that particular kind of epilepsy because I just zoned out all the time and a teacher thought it was concerning- I didn't have epilepsy in the end, I would just zone out unintentionally because I was a daydreamer or tired.

After watching that video it makes me sad that David isn't home. We never see V and Lily be affectionate like that. I hope she's giving that little girl lots of cuddles and hugs off camera. I thought that Lily may just not be an affectionate kid but this new video clearly debunks that theory.
