Yes it does suck, but calm your breast feeding breast milk filled tits Vanessa. The world isn't going to drop everything and attend to you because your'e a "mom with two kids"

Yes, Vanessa, it's annoying that you had to wait so long at your appointment. But honestly, I truly can't remember the last time I had some form of medical appointment and was actually seen on time. Doctors, dentists, my kids' orthodontist...they're always running behind. It sucks that is has now become the "norm" in America to spend 1-2 hours at a doctors office waiting, but it's now what I expect. I learned that I have to ask off work for nearly 3-4 hours for an appointment that should really only be 30 minutes tops. (Not that asking off work is something Vanessa has to even do, so not sure why she's complaining). The offices I go to even have signs up that say "if we are running behind, please be patient. Next time, you could be the reason that causes us to run late," so clearly it's a common issue at medical offices. Get over it, Vanessa. Doctors don't care if you have an extremely overly fussy baby and a tired 5 year old.

The heart specialist here has an 8hr wait time if your appointment if after 10am. They literally book around 80 people in one day but only see 5-7. I used to work at that office. The dr is constantly leaving the office and takes "breaks" between the appointments. It's a real shit show.

Because shit happens? Because sometimes patients take longer than anticipated? Because they are overbooked from flu season? The more populated an area is, the longer. Because shit happens.

Would've respected your opinion more if you hadn't added the "real bitchy" part. You don't know me at all and people that do know me know that I am a compassionate and caring person. I understand a 30 minute delay but like I said 1-2hrs is crazy. Definitely understand waiting a while at the ER because you're just walking in and there is so much going on in the ER but when you make a Doctors appointment I don't think it should take that long to be seen. We are humans and there are times when we are going to be patient and times when we are not. Let Vanessa complain if she wants too my goodness.

Just like someone said earlier about a sign that's in their Drs office. If we are behind, be patient because someday you might be that patient that puts us behind. It's annoying but unfortunately it happens

I guess I'm really lucky where I live we wait like 5 minutes that's why I thought the 1-2hrs late was ridiculous maybe like once or twice we've waited like 30 minutes and that was fine with me.

If my doctors office is delayed longer then 30 minutes, the nurse at the desk will tell me. If my workplace is delayed by 20 minutes, I let patients know. 1-2 hours at a doctors office is a rarity. Longest I've waited was an hour and a bit at a OBGYN but I was warned before hand. ER's they tend to have a priority system.

I know this is off topic, but whenever I have OBGYN appointments, I am warned that there is extended wait time. And I usually get a "I'm so so sorry! We just had an emergency." I rarely get annoyed about it. I think with some specialties it's better to assume there will be an extended wait time.

My OBGYN has canceled on me twice for emergency surgery and did I get mad? NOPE! Because I understand and I'm adult about it. lol

Well geez, I should've said "I would understand why she would get pissed off" I've had to wait before and I am really patient and really don't get upset Specially when the doctor or nurse apologizes. Let's stop acting like we are so much better than someone else just because you don't get "mad" about those things.
