Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
These tour guides get paid thousands of dollars to walk around a park all day and ride rides. On top of that they usually make 20-30% in tips depending on the family. Everyone acts like its so crazy that he pushed a strollwr. Your job is to get personal with the family. Play and interact with the kiddos. If push a strollwr too if ai knew Id get a bigger tip lolDenlillehavfrue wrote:Kind of off topic, but I remember when the saccone joly's went to disneyworld their tour guide was helping with the stroller too. Gosh, imagine the secrets these tour guides have, if only they could share them.

I don't know if it's been brought up. But didn't anyone see all the comments on Missy's look book? Hahah

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
That look book is so unfortunate. She has enough money to have a real stylist, styler her, go shopping with her to fit her new mommy body. I certainly am not claiming it's easy to find a new style. I still have/wear clothes from 10 years ago. Im 26 now, 3 kids I definitely gained weight and my hips will never be the same after childbirth. Not a problem, I am confident, but I also dress my body, and if there is a trendy style out there I try to keep one item trendy and everything else form fitting neutral, and also nursing-friendly since I still am nursing. Im surprised she hasnt discovered stitchfix.com or a real person to style her. I wish I could with that money. Not to mention the soccer lessons I would send my kids to for physical activity and socialising. #ihopetheyarereadingmycomment

I hope they give him a haircut soon. His old man hair isn't cute at all in my opinion.RootBeerFloatie wrote:So when do we think poor Finn is going to grow a full head of hair? The old man hair won't be cute when he's older

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
I have a feeling we wont be seeing Carl and Jinger with the lumps anymore because they revealed too much of the lumps. As per this thread! They havent mentioned them at all. Ever. Not even a "wow that was fun with them."lmmomSD wrote:I saw that too! He's reaching for her, and she pushes him away, and then walks off pushing the stroller with her face in her phone. The Carl and Jinger vlogs were so revealing. She says he always wants only her, and in the DB vlogs, it looks like she carried him all day. But Jinger was carrying him, and at one point so was one of the kids, who said Finn chose him over Missy. And seeing the way Bryan and Missy don't even really interact unless they know they're on camera, was so sadly affirmative of everything we think.JM16Canada wrote:Watching C&J's vlogs really puts into perspective how different Bryan and Missy are off camera. Missy was on her phone every single time the camera panned to her, including on rides. At one point (I think about 2:00 in) you can see Finn reaching for Missy while the guide pushes the stroller and Missy is telling him stop, then the guide picks Finn up and Missy walks away with the stroller while he crys for her. Wtf?!
Does anyone actually believe they got upgraded because they felt bad for Ollie? Pfft ya right.

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
Bryan was getting pissed because Carl kept filming him while he was filming the topiary. It was hilarious. They were at WDW with their kids, and he was obsessed with filming _topiary_. Sure, maybe a little bit because it is cool, and you know Bryan loves his montages. But he was more interested in topiary than his family!
And filming them at breakfast: "what are we doing now, Bryan?"
"Eating sticky buns" Yeah, Bryan, keep stuffing your face.
But no further mention of their new best friends! I'm sure they won't be filming with them ever again. I'm interested to see the comments on the Carl and Jinger vlog, to see if anyone else noticed the disparity.

Ok so how many swim lessons will it take before Ollie can actually swim? Because all my kids learned in a 2 week vacation. Just saying...

I never found the stroller pushing a big deal. If I was a tour guide I'd push it too (but I enjoy pushing strollers, carts/trolleys). But still like to know how people act when the cameras are off.Rkp65i wrote:These tour guides get paid thousands of dollars to walk around a park all day and ride rides. Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
People aren't knocking it because the guide did his job. It is has more to do with how B & M parent & act like fools on the regular. They hand their children off every chance they get. I bet no one here would have said squat if this had been another family that actually prioritizes and cares for their children. Let's face it if these two dolts actually parented and put time and energy into Fin & Ollie on a regular basis rather than showing off and blowing money, people here would have been saying how cool it was to have that option available.ja14 wrote:I did some research online, and it seems it's part of the job to help out with the kids. These two are a controversy and unplanned pregnancy away from Teen Mom 2 status as shit parents.

I'm just hoping that particular guide would talk about them off work and the person he talk to will look the bums up and find us. I want the juicy details.

Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
Yeah, but that's probably, unfortunately, a pretty baseless hope. They get paid to keep their mouths shut. If they spilled secrets, the resort's reputation among _actual_ celebrities would suffer, and that wouldn't be good. People like that-- guides, concierges, room butlers-- take confidentiality pretty seriously.Gre wrote:I'm just hoping that particular guide would talk about them off work and the person he talk to will look the bums up and find us. Unless you take copious logs and/or get a receipt, I am pretty sure you can't deduct tips. I would be surprised if they tipped at all.
Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
Probably not everyone tips but the majority of families who are able to afford those guides do tip, cash.springsahm wrote:Unless you take copious logs and/or get a receipt, I am pretty sure you can't deduct tips. I would be surprised if they tipped at all.
Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
This is sooo OT, but I had a dream that I found Missy commenting on a Facebook post for some mommy blog. It was a post asking their followers if they were happy.
Missy's comment was, like, three paragraphs, but it was basically about how she wasn't happy at all. The only thing that brought her any joy was Jesus and Reese's eggs/hearts/pumpkins/trees

Didn't Bryan work in the food industry. If he did, I hope he tips. My husband worked then owned restaurants and clubs. He tips 20% or higher. My kids follow his example and tip nicely for 20 somethings.Rkp65i wrote:Probably not everyone tips but the majority of families who are able to afford those guides do tip, cash.springsahm wrote:Unless you take copious logs and/or get a receipt, I am pretty sure you can't deduct tips. Re: DailyFirstClassAndWastingCash Part 85
Bryan lets his kids run wild in restaurants, and based on my experience in the industry, that alone tells me that he doesn't give a shit and probably doesn't tip well

At least he was interested in something! I mean, really.. SOMETHING other than himself.
