He tried to do it yesterday and they had the wrong brush so it ended up weird and he wore a hat. Bonnie mention d in yesterday's vlog she bought him the right brush for it, so I think she was trying to show him how to do it.MommaLindsey2 wrote:I have never in my life seen a man let his wife do his hair like Bonnie does. But, I kind of agree. It's one thing for her to do it for him after she cuts it... but the fact that he doesn't really know how to do it himself is odd, lol.

Re: Bonnie and Joel: Kidses Family Vacation (Part 10)
She said the same about Finn when she saw him. Something to the effect of "l still can't get over Finn. I mean look at that (as she pinched his thighs). Chunky Monkey" not a huge deal but had it of come from any other Mom but it stood out to me knowing Ellie and her issues. I would never call Finn chunky.tratra58 wrote:All around odd to call a toddler "fat" especially when he isn't. It looked like Lincoln couldn't wait to get out of Ellie's arms while she held him. I sometimes think Ellie makes remarks about kid's looks or points out other kid's behavior to compensate for her youngest.HelloSweetie wrote:Then what not say "he's gotten so big!" Or something? The word "fat" is just so harsh, especially coming from his aunt.
I've seen many chubby toddlers in my life, but have never thought of one as fat. Coming from Ellie, I just don't can't see it as an innocent comment.

I tried watching the Hawaiian vacation.. I got to the rental home tour and she described the decor as "so fun", ugh I can't muster the strength to continue

Re: Bonnie and Joel: Kidses Family Vacation (Part 10)
They get so many comments thanking them for sharing their lives, and acting as if they are really special, that it must be difficult not to get a swelled head. People even call Carlie Butler an "inspiration". I don't get it. It's one of the things that confuses the crap out of me. These people are NOT special. They're not innately talented or child rearing experts. They just talk to a camera, film their kids, slap a video together (sometimes with some skill) and upload it. And people worship them.I wonder what kind of lives people must have to adore vloggers so much. I get it with the kids. They don't understand the harm that the lifestyle they envy so much can do. But adults? With children? Just because Bonnie is confident in her child raising choices, doesn't mean she's right. And her utter lack of humility is stunning.tratra58 wrote:I like your response which was better about "fumbling through life" and really all she needed to say was the last sentence with thanking her for her support. I image when you have hundreds of thousands of moms following your life, it can change you. I don't even look to Katie as an expert and she has the education background that would back up some of her parenting.Blehmieux wrote:it's always a little offputting when youtubers/public figures respond to comments like this as if they deserve them. especially when they are popular for reality tv-like reasons and not because of any actual good thing they've accomplished or done for others. i get that it's nice to hear, but it says a lot to me about what you think of yourself if you just accept compliments that make you sound like the second coming of jesus!
if someone said something like that to me i'd reply "holy shit, thank you for thinking so much of me, but i'm fumbling through life just as much as anyone and am definitely not someone to look up to as an idol!"
thank you so much bonnie for finding a reason to push through with sharing your life with us bumpkins, we need your guidance!

Bonnie and Joel: Kidses Family Vacation (Part 10)
Anyone cringe through Bonnie's "nightmare"? This was probably the first time I didn't find her stupid stories (she thinks are hilarious) endearing. Maybe my major fondness for her is dissipating.

Guess your'e the only one cause people in the comments thought it was so nice of her to share all that long storyPostyMcPosterston wrote:Anyone cringe through Bonnie's "nightmare"? No, but I felt the same way as you but I don't know why I got that feeling something about the whole story felt strange. Don't believe though that she was lying but I just didn't get it...

It's officially reached screech level. Their vlogs should have a *No microphones* warning at this point.PostyMcPosterston wrote:Anyone cringe through Bonnie's "nightmare"? Eeeek l know! How about
letting your 1yr old walk around barefoot among tiny wood shavings, wood scraps, and nails on the ground. It's like beating a dead horse talking about B&Js total disregard for safety at this point. Yet l still can't help but be shocked by all the new ways they seem to throw caution to the wind. You read it first here folks, there will be E.R. trips and tetanus shots coming in the near future.
