Yup, which is what I said above. They may have bought stuff to donate, but how much money did they make on that waste? Disgusting.KaterTot wrote:Another thing you can't forget about their "generosity" is that if we gave $800 dollars worth of food we wouldn't be making literal thousands for posting a video of us doing so. So they got their money back ten fold for their "generosity". They probably never "give til it hurts" as some people I know. I think people forget they make a living off these videos which also means they do things with a bottom line in mind always. You will never convince me differently that they don't think "Spend 800 vlog about it, make $3 grand, we are still up. " (totally made up $$$ I have no idea what they make but it is obvious it is more than any of us do in a month much less a day).

I can't believe people buy into their bogus generosity. It is glaringly obvious Family aside, they don't do anything that will not directly effect their bank account. You can't go back a few years and say 'look they gave cameras" etc., because these are not the same people. They are greedy and glutinous that reeks of new money. Don't even think for one moment it is ever not about them and/or $$.

Re: DailyDesperateToGoViral Part 89
I have conducted my own research on Aldi and it's cheaper only if you compare the items and not look at the price per unit... It's cheaper because the bottles of basically everything there are narrower and smaller, boxes appear to look the same as name brand but the prices are ultimately the same if you compare unit price. That's how I shop, I try to save where I can but also get good bang for my buck.Coolowl wrote:We have Aldi and so does NYC but even though Aldi has lower prices my mom said the one here was lower, again, that whole cost of living thing.tintin15 wrote:I live in NJ and sometimes it depends. Target is more expensive than Walmart for sure, but sometimes they have better deals than even my local Aldi (not sure if everyone has those. it's a store with mostly generic brands, so it costs less because the packaging is plainer). I would imagine Target is pricey where they are, but I don't live there, so I wouldn't know!ja14 wrote:Target is pricey where I live.

How creepy is it that the Bratayley kids are probably the ones meeting up with B&M and not the parents.
All these forced collabs make me appreciate the fact that I don't do YT. I'm free to associate with only those I really want. I know it's business, but it is different than with co-workers because your personal life is tied to it. There are people I don't know all that well at work, but I'm not inviting them around my children.

real talk, if you guys ever want to go shopping & buy food for charities, don't. money is king, essentially everything is thrown out, ect. adam conover explains it best.
**also ps don't waste gallons of milk & cereal for economic profit or video tape yourself buying crappy food to "donate" for economic profit if u truly want to give. just putting it out there bye

double post: ALSO in the sam & nia thread i said that they would fill a kiddie pool with marshmallow lucky charms and now m&b did it so i essentially called it! calling fidget spinners right now, along with fake snow (i can see them doing a christmas in july in california type thing w/ fake snow).

Just curious cause I haven't watched bratayley in ages, What happened with their animals?lmmomSD wrote:Yep. Perfect. Since Caleb died, they've become awful. Then the day they got back to LA, went to a freaking OXYGEN BAR, and went shopping for themselves and bought so much crap that it was almost too much to carry, but "we got so much out of our trip to Mexico". Now this. And the worst thing is that kids look up to these people! They think they're all wonderful! My daughter rolls her eyes, but she has my parents as an example (I try, but I am not as good as they were). They never said a word. Just quietly went around helping others. This literally makes me sick to my stomach.

I like that they don't talk about their donations a lot. I'd rather be thought of as a scrooge who secretly does it than someone who brags and is doing it for a pat on the back.Lovethesnark wrote:Good for them. I also think they "quietly" give a LOT of donations to Steps to Wander!! It was pretty obvious Missy was their biggest Patreon backer (at least $1000 a month) during their road trip. And she definitely funded an Amazon account for them before June was born - and maybe even after. They were BROKE before they had that baby.dassit25 wrote:I like that they don't talk about their donations a lot. I also love how Bryan had to flash how much money they spent. Get out of here.
When he started reading the amount, my jaw dropped. And not because I was impressed.
Also ... they have some seriously out there ideas about what "nonperishable" means.

It's Father's Day and he still has to thank HER for making him a father. And he forgot to thank Mimi, Papa, Uncle, Jeff, and Natalia because the "team" is certainly not just these two...lol. I understand a husband always wanting to make his wife happy, but the way Bryan compliments her is just so needy, he always seeks her approval and it's actually very sad.

Re: DailyDesperateToGoViral Part 89
I guess that depends on the church. Ours always went to the Church's soup kitchen and that did three meals a day for the homeless. My kids would volunteer there through their school as well. My MIL made meatloaf for it every Wednesday. We would also drop off the kids gently used clothing and toys. There was a women's shelter connected with them as well. So the children's clothes/toys usually went to them.RootBeerFloatie wrote:Imo donating to a church isn't even true donating. They'll just pass it out amongst the congregation, or keep it in the church kitchen. Truely needy people visit local food banks, not churches.

I hate when people tell Missy to put her boobs away, and saying "only Bryan needs to see that" makes it even worse. She can show her boobs off to whom ever she pleases and I didn't even notice her boobs in this video. It's never a thing until someone makes it one, I hope that person's kids never go to a public pool or beach.. lol Also, if a tiny bit of cleavage bothers you that much bc "your kids watch" then don't let them watch!!! DB is not a babysitter and they aren't in charge of censoring what every single parent thinks is appropriate or not. Props to Missy for were whatever the fuck she wants. At least the clothes she had on yesterday seemed to fit her.shelbyanne wrote: Comment patrol must be asleep still...

Nice egg shells in those scrambled eggs missy... crunchy eggs are my favorite.
Ollie taking the wisk away from Finn, in true Ollie form. Nice edit..
I did giggle at Ollie's message to Bryan, I want to train you like a doggie. lol
Surprised that Bryan pronouced terrarium correctly, please teach your BFF Corbin how to say it.
Wow... Lego must be their number one sponsor now, way to pimp out fathers day for $$$$$ It was cool but Ollie will have it destroyed in 2.2 mins.. I'll die laughing.
I really hate Ollie's fed, scripted lines. It's so forced and robotic. He's never going to make it as a child actor like they are primping him to be, hes not natural at it AT ALL,,,,
Oh and of course they had to buy pool floats with guns... EVERYTHING has to have a gun or weapon of some sort. I wonder if his preschool will be anything like my kids? Any sort of gun or weapon play was strictly off limits or any sort of violent pretend play. That kid will be miserable if they have the same rule, he doesn't know how to play with anyone other than fighting or "getting them" with guns or swords.
Ollie is passed out in the playroom... oh surprise surprise, they always let the tv do the hard parenting.

Re: DailyDesperateToGoViral Part 89
I would agree except.... they are pandering to kids hard now. If they want to make this a kids channel, then I don't know if judging how revealing her outfits are is off the table. I mean, wouldn't you judge a teacher who wears clothing that is too revealing? It's like the TTC talk E&J do (and B&M have done), it's just totally inappropriate if you are pandering to children and realize that's now your primary audience. It really should be one or the other in my opinion.Playsinrain wrote:I hate when people tell Missy to put her boobs away, and saying "only Bryan needs to see that" makes it even worse.
