I remember people saying the incident with the knife happened because Chris came to the house to find Ashley hanging out with some friends and accused her of cheating. but I don't think there was any evidence cheating actually happened. Really it's irrelevant anyway - even if she'd had an affair, pulling a knife on the mother of your children and threatening to stab her with it is never an acceptable thing to do. Typing that makes me realise their distance from the boys is probably not the main reason he has so little custody.LilaLavender wrote:e word choice, I'm don't recall anything about Ashley cheating on him. But there is also no evidence that Chris pulled a knife on his wife.luci417 wrote:I remember people saying the incident with the knife happened because Chris came to the house to find Ashley hanging out with some friends and accused her of cheating. but I don't think there was any evidence cheating actually happened. None.
Domestic violence is a very serious crime. If you pull a knife on your wife expect to go to prison for 10+ years.
It is no joke. Especially in the state of California. California is one of many states that goes above and beyond in domestic violence cases. It will not be tolerated at all.
If Chris pulled a knife on his wife and tried to stab her he would be in prison for at least 5-10 years.

The whole "Chris pulled a knife on his ex wife"
Is actually not true. There has never been any evidence of that.
It's just something some people say on here. It has never been true.

I mean other than the pictures of the report Ashely filed and the picture of the case and both Jess and Chris acknowledging that he did something and Chris admitting to pulling a pocket knife on her. I mean other than that, yeah no evidence at all.TeaFor2 wrote:The whole "Chris pulled a knife on his ex wife"

Sorry to bring up the Landen thing again, I just got back from a trip so I just got the chance to watch his hospital video. Just had to say that in general (but I'm certainly not saying all the time), doctors seem notoriously bad with pain things. If the answer isn't clear, most of them will just give up or try to blame it on you. I suffered from debilitating migraines as a young teenager and for years they just pulled explanations out of their ass, from earwax (wtf? lmao) to "he's a teenager, he's just stressed" until SOMEONE by some miracle finally thought to send me to a specialist who correctly diagnosed me with TMD.
I feel sorry for Landen and all the pain he'll have to go through until they find the answer. I really felt for him (and Jesss) when that one doctor tried to brush it off as "he wants attention because he's not the baby anymore". Occam's Razor doesn't always work.

Chris never admitted to pulling a knife on her though.... Chris did admit that he came home and found his wife in their bed with some man. Chris admitted that he pulled out a pocket knife and told that man to get out of his house.
That was it.
He never admitted to pulling a knife on his wife and also was never punished by law for it. Even the police and law found no evidence of him doing that...

My head hurts from this comment.
Christ admitted he took a knife out of his pocket to both of them, doesn't equate to Chris pulling a knife on her?
Lord help me.

Re: JesssFam: Fast Food & Full Diapers (Part 97)
Are you seriously pretending that just because he only threatened the guy with the knife that it's okay?? If Ashley was having consensual sex with a man, then there is no reason that a weapon needs to be involved. Period. End of story. And this was after they had divorced, you can check the report. So it doesn't matter if Ashley is with someone else. And it clearly wasn't his house. It may have been THEIR house that he left when the divorce happened. But its not like she broke into his house to have sex with another man. And Chris and Jess couldn't even get their story straight. Jess said he never pulled a knife, Chris said he did. So I am far more incline to believe Ashley than those to bumbling idiots.TeaFor2 wrote:Chris never admitted to pulling a knife on her though.... This is one thing I am against. Is accusing Chris of commiting these horrible crimes wothout real evidence. As far as im concerned they never happened and I say this because Chris was never charged with any crimes, never went to jail and is not guilty.
California does not fuck around when it comes to domestic violence. A friend of mine (a female) got arrested and put in jail in los angeles for simply leaving a tiny scratch mark on her husbands hand trying to grab her car keys.
If she went to jail for that how is it possible that Chris didnt go to jail for pulling a knife on his wife and threatning to stab her? It's not possible.

I have never been on the side that Chris needs to be put in jail for this BUT HE LITERALLY ADMITTED TO IT. You cannot sit here and say nothing happened and there is no evidence. He admitted to it. He said he did it. The circumstances around the event are up for debate. Did he really walk in on her having sex? Did he just show up at the house? Debate that all you want. But he pulled a knife. And that is never okay. It is never okay to garnish a weapon out of anger.TeaFor2 wrote:This is one thing I am against. Is accusing Chris of commiting these horrible crimes wothout real evidence. And also, just because someone didn't go to jail for a crime doesn't mean they didn't do it. Casey Anthony anyone? OJ Simpson?? Bill Cosby?? COUNTLESS UNSOVLED MURDERS???? I'm all for innocent until proven guilty but come on...

Re: JesssFam: Fast Food & Full Diapers (Part 97)
I'd say "pulling out a pocket knife" is still pulling a knife on someone lmao whoever was there and Ashley probably both felt threatened, as you would if ANYONE was holding a knife (be it big or small) and was angry. You could still do a lot of damage. How was she to know Chris wouldn't attack one of them. Obviously if she WAS cheating on him that isn't right either but nothing really warrants pulling a weapon on people.....TeaFor2 wrote:Chris never admitted to pulling a knife on her though.... I just do not agree with accusing someone of a crime without real evidence. But if you want to, go ahead!
Casey Anthony, OJ, George Zimmerman etc all were actually charged with crimes. It was the jury who decided what happened to them.
The police arrested them all and pressed charges against them and all of those people were arrested, charged and put in jail.
Chris was never arrested and never had charges against him.

Can someone please find the video where they admitted this happened so I don't have to read pages of ignorance from someone who believes no charges = innocence.

Here sweety. This is just one story of many. Guy was booked on domestic charges but was able to post bail because California "doesn't fuck around" when it comes to domestic violence? I don't believe they ever acknowledged it in a video. But in thread ChrisandJess4eva part 35 on page 24 I think is when jess admits it on insta and then Chris's post from insta is on page 33 I went to check earlier but can't remember the exact pages.smom12 wrote:Can someone please find the video where they admitted this happened so I don't have to read pages of ignorance from someone who believes no charges = innocence.

I dislike this forum's tendency to leap to VERY dramatic conclusions about people with little to no evidence and since it was me who brought it up I should probably clarify. I wasn't here when Chris first came on the scene and I thought it was kind of commonly accepted that this happened. I thought there were some kind of legal documents (I think a custody/divorce thing or maybe a police report?) that outlined the incident and I feel like I remember reading them. I could be totally wrong about that and I'm not stating it as fact.

Chris was never booked on charges for domestic violence or anything else. The police were the ones at the house and decided that Chris didn't do anything wrong which is why the police never took him to jail or charged him with anything. After their investigation, they determined that Chris didn't do anything wrong.
