Side note- does anyone else think there is something strange with Lilia's speech? It sounds like she doesn't flow her speech together, like each word is said with a pause in between like a robot

I think over half the guys in Modesto are Eskimo brothers thanks to JessBlackswan wrote:Just came to say Chris and Gabe are eskimo brothers lol k thx bye!
Re: JesssFam: Love, Peace, and Pizza Grease (Part 99)
Its just that she talks in a bratty voice! Theres nothing actually wrong with her speech. I get annoyed listening to her speak like that. My moms friend had a little girl who spoke like that and she always made her daughter speak correctly before giving her attention. Her voice automatically would become normal after being scolded lol. Jess should do that to Lilia, but i doubt she willsipping_tea wrote:Side note- does anyone else think there is something strange with Lilia's speech? I haven't watched her latest vlog yet but when my notification came up and I read the title my firsr thought was she's starting a trust fund for the kids to go to college. It's gonna be insanely expensive so she better started saving up, especially for th boys who can expect nothing from their father. But yeah of course it was about Christmas and how to best shower them in useless gifts...
Re: JesssFam: Love, Peace, and Pizza Grease (Part 99)
Oh and to be honest I liked the Christmas sacks. Someone here said they're tacky but I really liked them, have actually thought about sewing and embroiderung one myself for my son. I also think they're a good idea for Jess, a neat way to organize all those gifts so everyone finds theirs right away. My parents would always place all the parcels for everyone underneath the tree and it was so chaotic and my sister and I often ended up opening gifts that weren't ours which is very frustrating

I also love the sacks, my mum and I sewed them for my kids years ago (rather than buy the overpriced pottery barn ones) and it saves buying/cleaning up wrapping paper every year!
I think Jess should stick with the want need wear read rule. If Lilia wants something that is out of budget (I didn't watch the vlog but I gather from here that was the scenario?) I think she is old enough for Jess to talk to her about it, it would be a good opportunity to teach her about money and maybe they could agree that she will get her that thing and nothing else or just a couple other things. When her kids get older they will be happy with one or two expensive items rather than a bunch of little things that will break in two months.

Okay I just remembered that Lilia doesn't yet know her mum buys the gifts. Maybe she could pretend santa has a budget? The elves don't have time to make too many things? Idk lol.

Everyone keeps saying that she should just make them sandwiches, but when Amber made that for Logan for his first day of school, everyone was complaining lol.blackroses wrote:Just make some pasta salad and go Jess. Give them some crackers and cheese and ham slice it up make homemade lunchables it's incredibly popular now. What happened to the standard sandwiches and a snack?
I usually pack a sandwich and yogurt for my son. In his class they provide fruits and vegetables for snacks.

I hope Jess DOES stick to the "something to wear, something you need" etc mantra for Christmas. They get FAR too many crappy plastic toys that get broken or thrown away, its a complete waste of money! Especially times 7 kids!! They'd do better to get them a few small, good presents and use the remainder for a holiday that can ALL go on, not just Disneyland for individual kids...
Re: JesssFam: Love, Peace, and Pizza Grease (Part 99)
Don't those kids all have ipads? Lilia should just use that to play music. It's not like she's catching public transport or walking to school on her own with headphones on. She doesn't need something super portable.

I also felt like she was trying to justify spending more on Lilia like she's reading online people are like why does Lilia get more and or higher quality things. Lilia already gets double gifts anyway the poor twins get less from Jess and it's not like their bio dad seems to be picking up the slack.

I'm REALLY hoping she gets them all a new toothbrush more than once a year

I have noticed that Lilia adds the letter A on to words e.g. "Can I have more on my next-a strawberry"sipping_tea wrote:Side note- does anyone else think there is something strange with Lilia's speech? I really hope that she won't buy the girls more expensive things because her poor boys are smart and they might question her on it. She'll probably hyena laugh and tell them that she has too many boys to buy for.Snow White wrote:I felt like her newest video was asking for pointers on how to justify spending more on Lilia and less on ALL of the other boys (Chris' boys included) she's awful.
Either way she dug herself in a grave by having so many children who are close in age. Christmas will be interesting when the kids are preteens and teenagers.

It's going to be more and more noticeable as they get older because unlike the others the twins and Landen probably won't get stuff from their Father's side of the family. Addie will get more stuff because Jess likes girls better. My husband had family members who treated him remarkably different than his siblings\cousins and now they're like why don't you ever visit and he's like gee let me think...why don't I visit...

Sorry I'm kind of behind but if he likes peanut butter sandwiches and the school won't allow it for allergy reasons you could try something like sunflower seed butter.MamaJoAnna wrote:I fully relate. Thank God he loves fruit. But I'm so jealous of all these yummy healthy Pinterest lunches that I keep seeing cuz my son will never eat any of that I wish I could pack him sandwiches and pastas and tortilla roll ups.
Jess can do all those healthy variety of lunches with her kids unlike me so I'm like really? Mini muffins... Snacks... A slice of fruit?

As a mom to a child that can't have peanuts or tree nuts I can vouch that soy butter tastes almost identical to peanut butter. Sunflower butter tastes different but it's so good.sarahelizabeth_1 wrote:Sorry I'm kind of behind but if he likes peanut butter sandwiches and the school won't allow it for allergy reasons you could try something like sunflower seed butter.MamaJoAnna wrote:I fully relate. Wait.. so by music Jess meant something to listen music from? Lol I literally thought the girl was about to buy her some mini piano or a guitar or something. To be honest that would actually be a good present, give those kids something else to do than sit in front of iPads.
