I know being an interior designer involves a lot of technical drawing and design skills, but if i'm not wrong being a decorator is more than just putting a room together from a bunch of big box stores right? Like if Keren was really into it and the house was super amazing and unique looking because she diy-ed and customized things she bought, went to little boutiques and flea markets to find things, did things like sew cushion covers out of fabric she found, etc. then she'd be a good candidate for an interior decorator. But it's pretty generic looking. It's all white furniture, taupe/grey/black/white colours, and chevron or stripes with target word art.

If she has a real passion then good for her. She should keep working at it and learn to take risks. But if she decorated someone else's house in Target Chic after they'd payed her $$$ for something more personal I'm pretty sure they'd be furious.

If someone is a real designer, they have a background in many various styles of furniture from different time periods. They can spot a real piece vs a replica. They'll have knowledge of layouts, building codes, fluent in AutoCAD and hand drafting, drapery calculations, etc.

When you're a designer, or even a decorator, you put out the money for everything and then up-charge the price. For example, if you order someone custom draperies and they cost $5,000, you charge them $6,250 for them (just a general 25% for the sake of the conversation). It's very hard to start out sometimes because you need the credit line to put up all the money (unless you do deposits or payments along the way).

She would never be able to work with clients. She would be bratty and bitchy if they didn't like her ideas or if she didn't follow their wants. Honestly, it's a whole lot of ass kissing and "you're right and I'm wrong" for every little thing. It's honesty grueling sometimes.

Hello I’ve been wanting to comment for a while and I finally decided to make an account. I know this has been talked about for a while, yes you’ve guessed it Jackson’s poor teeth. And Karen being a shitty badass mom who doesn’t have to courage to admit she messed up her childs teeth with the binky, SHE STILL LETS HIM HAVE IT, even though she KNOWS that’s what messed up his teeth in the first place. Always spending money on dumb shit, always has time to go to the mall but yet she doesn’t have time to take her poor kid to the dentist. I have an idea guys. How about we make a video contemplation on Jackson’s poor teeth ( here’s the good part) and go to a certified dentist, show him his poor teeth and record his reaction and his opinion” add that to the video contemplation of Jackson’s bad teeth, post it and tag Karen. That way Karen can shut her smartass mouth about saying that the binky didn’t fuck up her childs teeth! I really want to see this happen, or is it just me?

What did he say about the teeth? I thought they were using the excuse that he had fallen and that why his teeth were jacked up

I really hate that I follow him on snap. Between the wizard shit and stupid nerf guns, I just can't with the immaturity! Khoa and Keren both act like annoying little preteens. I reallythink they're turning into their fan base! Who seriously spends what look like hundreds of dollars on an arsenal of nerf weapons?? Maybe rich parents trying to keep their 10yr happy...def not a 25yr old realtor and father of two. It's very strange.

I'm a first time Mom and a stay at home one as well. I'm so surprised Keren doesn't take her children to the park to play with kids. Ever since my baby girl (7months old) can sit up on her own I always take her on the baby swing and for walks around the neighborhood. What shocked me even more was the food she gives her kid and baby. She has so much time during the day to make real baby food. It's not that hard.. jar baby foodI wonder how it never goes bad?.. and she always giving Jackson so much processed crap. Other than that, I like watching the vlogs to see Landon because my baby girl is 2 weeks younger than him. I use their videos as an example of how NOT to raise my daughter.

Okay, hi all, first time poster and i've been lurking for quite a while now.

It's so shocking to me to see how Keren had been treating everyone. I used to switch between KKandBabyJ and OKBaby for a while (one would piss me off, I'd go watch the other, the other would piss me off, I'd go back to the original). I have a 4m old of my own, I'm a stay at home mum and I find it horrible Keren wastes her time doing shopping and Starbucks runs all the time. I mean, with my son, we do 3 sessions a week of various parent and baby clubs (Baby Club, which is like songs and massage and baby yoga, Play Sessions, which are what it says on the tin and he goes to special Dad-Child sessions on Saturdays) and then we do swimming as well. I make sure to take him out at least once a day for a walk, and yes, usually I stop to get a coffee somewhere for my walk but like at least my son is getting to go outside and go to the park and experience the world? It makes me so mad to see her essentially ruining her kids lives by sticking them in front of a movie all day and yes, they have the playground and the front yard but I don't know how Jackson and Landon are ever going to be able to socialise properly if they aren't in any sort of groups. And swimming lessons too! It's so, so important that they actually teach their kids to swim! I mean, I understand for Landon, my boy isn't properly swimming at all but at least he's comfortable and I know if we keep up with it he'll be able to swim a bit if we go in the water!

This had really opened my eyes up to the differences between Keren + Kyra and how the girls parent. I hate how Keren has all these excuses. I don't care if she's feeding Landon baby food from the shops, but the soup for Jackson 24/7 as well as letting him have coffee + butterbeer is disgusting! We've seen Kyra making home cooked meals for her and Oscar for ages now. Even back about a year ago when she did the What I Eat In A Day: Pregnancy Edition, she was frying eggs and cutting up vegetables to make salad, blending her own smoothies and actually cooking her own meat + potatoes for dinner. I don't think I've ever seen Keren fry an egg to be honest. Khoa does eggs when he makes ramen, yes, but Keren?? And then Kyra and Oscar take Levi to the gymnastics lessons, to the library, to the trampoline park, fishing, walks, they do painting and colouring... Levi is so much more stimulated than Jackson and you can tell it affects him (in the vlog the other day when he was playing with kids his own age at the gym class), even though he does watch things as well, he watches screens in more of a balanced way than Jackson does.

Just putting my two cents in as a new Mama who is fed up with Keren being praised for being a Badass Mom. Girl, get back to me on being a badass mom when you actually cook a week's worth of meals for your toddler instead of giving him chipotle/chick-fil-a or progresso. All that sodium and fat has got to be bad for his system.

(don't get me started on her twitter rant the other day either. and I know kyra isn't always the best mother but let's be fair no one is, and she's still a hell of a lot better than keren is. also sorry for it being long and ranty, i'm not sure if it makes 100% sense either)

lol you clearly cant read my sarcasm xD i was being exaggerating in a sarcastic. way But half serious bc these two never fail to surprise me with their awful parenting...i mean they give him so much other crap that is awful for his health. coffee can be almost as detrimental as alcohol to a child that age... not the same, but i dont put anything past them anymore
