Isn't it interesting that in the past two days they've gotten 11k+ sub at an alarming rate? Could the reason M was so animated is because of Corbin being there? The NYE kiss between b&m was beyond awkward. Corbin showing more interaction w/Finn than B does is a little sad. Seemed like Corbin and Kelsey were a little uncomfortable at the Apple Store... Could they actually see what jerks their friends are.

Just getting caught up....wtf did I just watch that was a weird New Year's party. If I can even call it that.
That awkward midnight kiss where Jimmy is just watching and busting open the confetti while they all kissed.
Anybody else get the feeling Cassie's boyfriend is trying to get with Bryan?
I kid I kid!

Re: DailySpoiledOllie Part 49
I just watched most of today's vlog and the bb8 thing made me pretty mad....idk, it was JUST christmas- they both received enough gifts that easily totaled over $1,000 each.....WTF??!!? To me that just seemed very standoffish...to buy things like that while your friends are there from a different state. Go to Disneyland! Go to LA for the day! Go to the beach just to walk! Have a picnic in the woods! No, instead they go to the apple store....to buy a useless and expensive toy....then get a vacuum that they laugh about because "lol our other one broke" (btw, i'd be totally pissed about that whether my old one was a little junky or not), and then walk around the mall. Wow, what a great vacation kelsey and corbin are having! They spend their money like it's water and it seriously makes me so sick. If some rando can donate $10,000 to their charity then so could they....hell, they could MATCH each donation if they really cared that much.....but no, they spend their money on garbage as if they are 16 years old and just getting their first credit card.
Re: DailySpoiledOllie Part 49
Did anyone ever tally up the full total of what they spent on Christmas including the backyard playground?

Omg thank god I've found this page! It's nice to know I'm not the only one thinking all this stuff! Finally I can talk among my own and not a bunch of brain-washed 11 year olds who consider Bryan & Missy "relationship goals". Lemme just rant for a bit and say that I've been watching since they had 20k, and boy have the changed! For the worse, might I add. Missy has become bitchier and more uptight. Bryan, more conceited and self-centered. It sucks because at one point I enjoyed watching them. The most they would do in the beginning was eat out every other day. In three years, however, they've managed to reach 1 million subs and gotten more money. So the vlogs then became them, not only eating out everyday, but showing off every stupid useless "toy" they wasted their money on. Seriously, do they realize how much they unknowingly show off? Or how bratty they're making their 2 year-old? It's not just him being in his "terrible two's". Oliver has turned into a spoiled little boy and that's affecting him greatly. If he doesn't want to do something, they don't make him do it. If he wants something, they get it for him to avoid crying or tantrums. It's the lifestyle they live which attracts subs to them, NOT their shitty personalities. And also, might I add how suspicious it was that Bryan said in yesterday's vlog "today is the day we're reaching 1 mill subscribers"? He is either an arrogant, narcissistic asshole or the views were bought because there is no way he/anyone could've know ON THAT SPECIFIC DAY they would get 1k more subs. & Missy in today's vlog talking about how nice it is having Corbin & Kelsey around because they've been a huge help. Um?! They're you're freaking guests, not your servants. You should be tending to them, not vice versa. Damn. This just reflected what a lazy Mother Missy truly is, no matter what anyone says.

I can't believe you've been subbed for that long and are just now joining us! The Cambodia trip nonsense, hiding Mimi all the time, horse ranch scandal, multiple nursery tours, Bryan's "music", all the daily relaxing and complaining.....
Would you say you were a minion? You probably hated a bunch of us! Did you slowly get annoyed, or was it all of a sudden you "saw it"? Storytime!

Welcome and YES they know very well how much they show off, they measure their happiness based on how much stuff they own!Hpgirl wrote:Omg thank god I've found this page! Hello HPgirl, I was very much like you. I'd been watching them for two years and found this board just before Christmas and it just validates all the stuff we think but can't say on their videos. Although, I've tried, especially about Karma and had my comments deleted or told I'm stupid. I feel stupid after I read the actual comments on their videos because I'm certain it means losing IQ points!

Re: DailySpoiledOllie Part 49
It's really telling to compare their comments with Bonnie Hollein's. There's a HUGE difference in maturity level. Sigh. Kids watch them and think they live this super-fun life. They eat out all the time, and have all the latest gadgets, and a pool. They (except for Missy complaining) never show the hard parts if life. So no wonder they are so popular with the under-12 set. No chores, no homework, just fun!mommadee wrote:Oh the intelligence of the average Daily Bums subscriber.
HPgirl, welcome! I felt like you did when I found this group! My daughter watches. She's not quite a minion, but she doesn't like me yelling at the TV. So finding kindred spirits was a relief!

Re: DailySpoiledOllie Part 49
I've been wanting to make this comment for a while. I do not even slightly understand all the hate Missy gets for having her Mom in he life. My mom died back in 2011. In 2013 I had my first kid and I gotta tell you, I would have killed to have my mom in the delivery room with me. To have her stay at my house and help. To have her as involved in mine and my child's life as Missy's mom is in hers. Idk what kind of family's everyone else comes from, but where I'm at, the closeness Missy's family has isn't strange at all. And no, we aren't religious like them in the least bit. I just honestly do not get it. Id love to have my mom go shopping with me, or come over for breakfast. If I could I would move her in!

Re: DailySpoiledOllie Part 49
I miss my mom too-- she passed away in 2003. But Missy doesn't do _anything_, it seems, without her mom. And it seems to shut Bryan out, and his family certainly doesn't get the same consideration . I don't think people hate on her for being close to her mom. It's that the whole family is over every day. And they have to do everything _together_. There's no sense at all of any kind of growing up, and moving out. You're supposed to give your kids roots and wings. And it looks like all of the Hollisters have clipped wings. They aren't encouraged to find their own way at all. My son just moved to Montana. It kills me. But he is _happy_. So I am happy too. And Missy's obsession with having a girl comes from that too. She doesn't take into account that her daughter will have her own personality. God help her if she's a tomboy!Fallonlynn10 wrote:I've been wanting to make this comment for a while. Re: DailySpoiledOllie Part 49
I very much disagree. Bryan's family lives further away from them, that's why they aren't close. Not to mention I don't think he has a good relationship with his mom because of things that happened when he was teenager, like he explained in their Draw My Life.lmmomSD wrote:I miss my mom too-- she passed away in 2003. It's not uncommon for married couples to be closer to one persons family then they are to the others so I don't see how that's an issue. He's made an effort to see his mom after each of his children were born and include her in that time. Sure it's not like Missy's family but that's simply because they have a different relationship.
I also don't see how the Hollisters are holding their children back at all.
I'm not a minion of the DB's by any means. I do enjoy watching them but I see the many many flaws in their lives. I just don't see being close with Missy's family as one of them.
