Well, it's Christmas Eve here. The pork is crackling, stuffing is sizzling, potatoes are roasting and champagne bottles a'popping.

It's Christmas Eve here now technically. I have to work today and then go to my cousin's Christmas party. Which includes the gag gift grab bag. Last year my 80 something year old great uncle got an excersise ball and my brother got a plastic princess jewelery kit...it's always hilarious.

Hubby got me a knock-off Keurig...thank God. And a shit ton of coffee K-Cups. We had the Vue which apparently lost popularity so badly we had to go an hour and a half away to find coffee for it (online wasn't any better of a deal) and we got sick of doing that. I'm pretty tickled with it :)

Merry Christmas everyone! My parents gave me a very generous amount of spending money which I'll need since I won't get paid there for 2 weeks. I also got a ton of gift cards, some candy, bedding for my apartment and my dad got me this beautiful figurine.

We had a great day. Best gift so far was definitely one my MIL gave Caleb and I.
She gifted her old advent calendar to us for our new family to be able to enjoy with our little one next year.
It was the same one Caleb grew up with. All of us cried.
Very sweet.
I'm thankful for the wonderful people in my life and feeling incredibly sappy.
