I kind of think it is a "fancy, expensive baby photo shoot" thing. All of my friends and family who have been able to afford those fancy baby's first photo shoots have all had photos very similar to this. It seems to be the popular thing to do these days. Especially with social media influencers. They were pretty shots though and I thought they really fit Jamie's calm, sweet demeanor. She's so opposite of Ashley. LOL
Catching up on older blogs, don’t know which it was but so sweet that they left their date to grab their older boys for some family time because they missed them
Not crazy that Sykler already quit his job for YouTube but I kind of get it with 5 babies around. Hopefully as they age he’ll go back to appraisal even part time. YouTube won’t last forever even for the best families
Say it isn't so! It looks like another parent is quitting his day job to bank on the YouTube gravy train. Such a mistake. Instead of using the extra money for their kids' futures (like the Busby's), they intend to live off of it now so both parents can stay home with the kids. I love that parents are opting to spend time with their kids. Sacrificing their careers entirely, though, is such a mistake for them as people and for their families. People need balance in their lives & the opportunity to grow as individuals. Seems like the quality of the Vlogs always decreases accordingly. This family has started out so well with their Vlogs.
I am getting a bit concerned about their videos focusing on everyone except the babies, after a few minutes. Babies are interesting at any age, as was shown by the one smile!
I love this family, I've been binge watching them for over 3 weeks now. But unlike most of you I didn't come from the Gardner Squad (did I spell that right?) I love how the dad takes the boys out on little adventures or dates. And how they adres the comments and make changes, I've never seen that in a YouTube family before, normally they are all stuck up. I love their blogs and I'm always so excited when they post a new one!! Hope they stay like that!!
I forced my teen to watch tons of their videos today because Skyler has that dad humor that she LOVES. She seems annoyed with me at first but was laughing within the first two minutes! They are really just so funny to me! And I love how they respect the boys enough to not film them if they don't want to be filmed, but they also seem to really enjoy being part of Skyler's silliness too. It just makes my whole day watching them!
I love that he actually puts creativity and work into the vlogs. I mean if you are going to use it as your living to support your family then putting your best into it makes sense. But yet it’s such a rare thing on YouTube

Yes! Every day I'm shocked by whaT he comes up with! And then he shared the other day that his degree was in theater and it all made sense to me! My daughter has been acting in theater and film her entire life and is studying this in college too, so I realized why I sometimes feel like I connect to him more than I normally do with a vlog dad. His personality reminds me so much of my daughter! His material is super original and fun to watch! The Gardners have already tried copying them but it comes off so bad because they just half ass everything. I absolutely love the new spoof they have going on Full House! Today's puberty clip was phenomenal!
I've got absolutely no issue with him being a full time Vlogging stay at home dad when he actually puts that much time and original thought and effort into what he puts out in every video! If he can make the same amount of money doing that and still be home to help care for his 7 kids at the same time that he puts out such great content, then more power to him!
If he was putting out crap like Tyson Gardner or his "vlogger bestie" Branden Bingham, then I'd feel much different.

Yes! And he and Jamie are the primary caregivers of their children, while graciously accepting help from their older sons, family and friends. Never taking advantage to pursue their own selfish interests. Already J&S can tell you the unique personalities of their 5 babies. Unlike They Who Must Not Be Named, who after 3.5 years only know the food their children like to eat. I love the happy feeling I get watching 5 2 Love!!
I was pretty worried when I saw a thread for this family because I absolutely love them and didn't want to hear something bad! I love the skits that Skylar does with his sons to bookend the videos, it makes the vlogs so entertaining and like you're actually watching something they've put out for entertainment, not just to gain 'fans'. They seem to be very down-to-earth people unlike most family vlogs. Also Skylar quit his job before Youtube so I think in ways of money and healthcare they aren't relying on youtube, they must have something else they can fall back on. They have a nice house in an area surrounded by schools so I'm sure they're doing okay.
Hope they stay just as pure as they continue to gain subscribers!
I finally catch up with all of their videos and so far I really like their content. I hope that the fame wont rots them like its does with all the youtubers
