Epik Brandons - Maskless in Montana | The Epik Life | Part 4
Re: Epik Brandons - Maskless in Montana | The Epik Life | Part 4
So Calvin needed emergency surgery because he swallowed one of the kids' toys and now Hanni has to virtually panhandle to pay the vet bill because her parents don't work. The unemployment rate in the Billings area is about 4%, so it's puzzling as to why neither of them is working nearly a year after Jason lost his job.
Re: Epik Brandons - Maskless in Montana | The Epik Life | Part 4
Also, Hanni’s Instagram story is out of touch - complaining she can’t go into the vet to see Calvin due to COVID restrictions, and saying the rules shouldn’t apply to Montana because hardly anyone there cares about COVID or wears masks. I just can’t handle the stupidity.

Didn't Hanni also recently do a series of IG posts/stories on her "baby fever"? I thought I had stopped following her but apparently I hadn't. I don't use IG much, but was shocked to see a kid talking about her baby fever. Like, for her mother to have another one, I guess... I dunno... seemed really weird.

It's disturbing. She's 16. Hopefully she was talking about her mother but most people won't take it that way.natalka81 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 7:34 am Didn't Hanni also recently do a series of IG posts/stories on her "baby fever"? Has Neysa ever said anything about Cozi being their last baby? Maybe Neysa and Jason are talking (in front of Hanni) about having another baby to help bring in more engagement on their insta and more money... After all, the pregnancy with Cozi seemed to be timed around their YouTube launch.

I think Neysa said once before that her body is done having babies but they’d still like to adopt (yikes!). But I don’t take anything she says seriously. They can’t stay focused on anything and constantly just live carelessly so I see it entirely possible that she would have more.

Considering how expensive kids are and the fact that neither parent is employed and they are living off charity, one would hope they wouldn't think like that. Neysa really hasn't used the Epik instagram in about a month so it can't be a major source of income even though she used it primarily to sell snake oil. I think Neysa is mostly focused on painting dead looking baby dolls now and I don't think Instagram is a viable way to sell niche products like $800 dolls. Not that I know much about people who would drop 800 bucks on a doll.nylady wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 10:02 am Has Neysa ever said anything about Cozi being their last baby? I was trying to get through Hanni’s Instagram story to hear updates on Calvin (and thankfully he is doing well and back home) but holy crap this girls verbal skills are god awful! I always though she came across smarter than Neysa but it doesn’t take much. She just rambles on and on, repeating the same points over and over again. I only got about a quarter of the way through but I think I got the point. Calvin is home and needs to take it easy for a while but is expected to make a full recovery. There. Done. A single sentence.

Agree, she was very scattered, but I do feel sorry for her.MelE wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 8:42 pm I was trying to get through Hanni’s Instagram story to hear updates on Calvin (and thankfully he is doing well and back home) but holy crap this girls verbal skills are god awful! Calvin, by her own admission, is her best friend, and it sounds like a very scary episode. And you can bet her parents were none too pleased to have to fork over thousands of bucks given their current situation (which is their own fault!) and also because they really have nothing to do with Calvin and no apparent attachment to him. Hanni seemed genuinely embarrassed over asking people to give money to her mother's paypal account.
I don't know if anyone else noticed, but she made the video sitting on what appeared to be a $50 cot in the basement, which she said was her brother's bed. She also said it was more comfortable than her own in an upstairs room. Next to the cot was what appeared to be an air mattress, probably belonging to another boy. They've been in this tiny house for four months now!
Brandons, knock it off now and at least give the kids a break by sending them to public school. Yes, they'll be slotted into lower grades due to the neglect of their education, but most will catch up. It's not right to have these sweet kids spend every day and every night crammed into that house. School will at least give them an outlet for a part of every weekday. If you don't do this, mark my words, every single kid older than Shepherd will deeply resent you in the future.

It's been a while since I've visited this thread since this family got too upsetting for me, but I'm caught up now; it's obviously disheartening to see the veil lifted further via Hanni's account (and not even on purpose, since she doesn't know any different), but I actually find Neysa's prolonged inactivity pretty concerning. Social media* is Neysa's outlet of choice, and a constant stream of cute kid videos, oils, and traumatic childhood memories means things are "normal", and she's at least mentally afloat, barring any grasp on reality. Considering her partiality to drama and doom, what could possibly be going on right now that Neysa doesn't want to talk about?
*Instagram, really. YouTube's been obsolete for some time now and their Facebook was updated last in October.

Maybe they are now just very careful - Jason must be searching for a job and with Trump losing the elections, they may think, that having a certain kind of content online for everyone to see it, lowers his chances. Would also fit to Neysa taking down (or turn to not public) the concerning views they had on FB.howdidigetintothis wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 2:38 pm It's been a while since I've visited this thread since this family got too upsetting for me, but I'm caught up now; it's obviously disheartening to see the veil lifted further via Hanni's account (and not even on purpose, since she doesn't know any different), but I actually find Neysa's prolonged inactivity pretty concerning. Ah, well. Guess, I am to optimistic here, to be honest.

They are full-on QAnon conspiracy nutcases. I don't think they would ever worry about it affecting employment chances. If he's still insisting on only looking for work in the oil industry it probably wouldn't hurt him in any way either.Acaena wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 12:28 am

My guess is that Neysa is moving away from the oils and focusing on painting and selling her scary dolls. Instagram isn't really an avenue for that. Besides, all she and the kids do is hang around the living room playing with her phone, so not much to share these days.
She'll probably be back in one form or another once they decide on which pyramid scheme they want to try next.

I'm not following Neysa anymore. Have they actually completely stopped with the oils? Wow, that is really weird. It was their whole life and identity and now it's not. Not surprising but still very concerning.
Re: Epik Brandons - Maskless in Montana | The Epik Life | Part 4
I'm not really following either but I still check in every once in a while. She hasn't posted anything on her main insta since mid January (around the time of Biden's inauguration) and I don't think she has posted about her oils since December? so I guess she's not selling them anymore. She is still active on her creepy baby doll painting account, so I guess she's focusing more on trying to sell those. Her silence does concern me too though, especially for the kids. I really hope Jason is coming back to reality and looking for another job, but probably not. I feel so sad for those poor kids, they deserve better.
Re: Epik Brandons - Maskless in Montana | The Epik Life | Part 4
I feel like she’s checking here because after a month of silence she posted thanking everyone who reached out/prayed for them and assured that they were fine. Apparently they just needed a “break”.
She said a lot about nothing - Shepherd was the only child who appeared.
I was annoyed by the fact that despite the fact Hanni is bringing money into the house she’s not allowed to post videos on TikTok or scroll through it AND she has to take her sister to work with her?
I want nothing more than for that girl to escape.

She's probably been embarrassed since there was no magic wand waved that prevented Biden from entering office and she knew it would seem awkward to avoid the whole subject after she's been so vocal in support of the election being overturned.
Re: Epik Brandons - Maskless in Montana | The Epik Life | Part 4
That's funny how as soon as we talk about her absence, she appears lol
In her stories I saw all of the kids at some point expect Kiah and Shiloh. Wonder where they were.
She said that life has been crazy and there have been lots of "stressors". Maybe its finally hit her that Trump is completely out of office and Jason finally needs to find a new job. She talked a little bit more but I couldn't bring myself to watch the rest lol
It's good that Hanni is helping bring money into the house, as she appears to be the only one that actually has somewhat of a job. Good for her! Also gets her out of that tiny house for a bit. Hopefully Hanni can save some of the money she's making and get away asap!

Can somebody please tell Neysa that her almost 3 year old being barely able to repeat the names of her family members is not impressive but just sad. Cozette doesn’t have speaking skills because she always has that damn binky in her mouth.
And funny how Neysa claims Hanni isn’t allowed to browse tik tok. Hanni reposts tik tok videos on her Instagram story multiple times a week.
I guess Jason is just going to play guitar instead of getting a job? How long will the church (that they weren’t even very active in before?? We literally never saw or heard of them attending church) allow them to occupy that house without so much as looking for work? Surely the church could loan the space to a family that actually want to help themselves.
