Epik Brandons - Maskless in Montana | The Epik Life | Part 4
Re: Epik Brandons - Maskless in Montana | The Epik Life | Part 4
Kids don't need the same things as adults to be happy and Neysa probably does not get that. A child can be happy in a poor home, as long as they have food, heat, a clean home, routine and parents who encourage them, play with them and enforce some rules. I remember seeing a lot of people commenting that they thought their children were probably sad with the pandemic, but when asked how they felt, the kids answered they were happy to be spending more time with mom and dad.
Those kids never go out anyway, why would a pandemic make any difference? They don't vote and should not care who the president is. And it is none of their concern where their money comes from. If they hate 2020, it is because they have no routine, encouragement, a quiet and clean environment and they can sense their parents high stress level. Children can be poor and happy but not neglected and happy.

I feel like I watched a different clip re: Shepherd. There was no aggression there. He was smiling and laughing. He wasn't angry and he only actually hit her once (which I think was a mistake); the rest were in front of her.
I agree about all the other stuff though - this family is fucked. I'm waiting for the kids who escape in the future to write books about their upbringing!

Re: Epik Brandons - Maskless in Montana | The Epik Life | Part 4
If there was no aggression, why else would he be trying to punch his mom? and I only noticed Neysa laughing about it, Shepherd only seemed to start smiling after Neysa started laughing at him. There's no reason for a child to be acting like that and for the mother not to correct it. I guess we really did watch a different clipBekkaz wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 2:18 am I feel like I watched a different clip re: Shepherd. There was no aggression there. He was smiling and laughing. I didn't see any laughter and the smile was more of a smirk. And he was throwing some hard punches. He was angry.

He started laughing the moment he realized there would be no consequences because his mother laughedBekkaz wrote:I feel like I watched a different clip re: Shepherd. There was no aggression there. There's a (much smaller) thread of another family called the Murrays, who are starting to similarly go downhill in the wake of COVID restrictions and perceived persecution. It's mostly in the form of the dad posting tangents on his Instagram stories and the mom posting nothing but Bible verses and inspirational quotes; regarding the latter, I heard once that whenever a girl/woman does that, it means things aren't going well. I then realized that the same applies to doubling down on conspiracy theories and alienating one's self, and I think it could easily apply to the Brandons.Bekkaz wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 2:18 am I feel like I watched a different clip re: Shepherd. What's most disheartening about them, though, is their "us against the world" attitude, sheltering of themselves and their children, distrust of modern science and news media, and constant transience has been consistent over the years, rather than the product of an event or environment that then triggered a downward spiral. It's coming to a head now, sure, but you'd think that at some point the Brandons would have found their niche instead of leaning exclusively on each other for support (and, evidently, reproducing). There's lots of other families that have 5+ kids, homeschool, are Christian, are conservative, don't vaccinate, like arts and crafts, and are healing from various traumas themselves; I find it concerning -- and also quite sad -- that they've come this far with very little growth. That's what makes me think that there's a lot more disfunction than what they're willing to share.

Poor Cozette's teeth are just absolutely horrendous. Does Neysa not realize what that pacifier is doing to that child's teeth? Her top teeth are so arched up you can barely even see them, and all of her teeth are just so spaced out. It's even affecting her speech, as she can barely even talk. They need to wean her off the paci now. They definitely cannot afford braces for her in the future, especially if they continue to just go about their lives unemployed. Neysa is really doing a disservice to Cozette by infantilizing her and its affecting her development and health so much. Its just horrible and borderline abusive.

This is troubling after seeing Shepard's behavior

This might sound petty, but goddamn that filter Neysa uses makes Cozette look like a sickly Victorian child!! And half the time she’s wearing a dress to match!

Omg Hanni no. You do not need to come back to instagram! Lol
Also, how has life been crazy for her? She seems to just sit around the house just like her parents do.

Those kids have been wearing the same clothes since thanksgiving and they are just so dirty. How the hell can you have all them kids and not make sure they at least have clean clothes?? Are those really Shepherds only pair of pants? Like take care of your kids or don't have so many! That's literal neglect.
Also, why is she filming/posting herself rubbing shit all over her kids' chests? I'm sure the internet pedos love that.

I agree, that was creepy "do you like having your chest rubbed?"sadasfuck wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 10:17 am Those kids have been wearing the same clothes since thanksgiving and they are just so dirty. I think this is the third time she's claimed the little ones have had colds since they returned to Montana. Which is very curious, considering they never go anywhere and never seem to show any signs of illness, certainly not chest colds. And considering that Billings has been surging with Covid, if they'd been exposed to that many germs there, they'd all probably have come down with it by now.
I hope she's not slathering what she says are very strong oils on her little kids for no reason, but it does appear that way. (not that her snake oils are doing anything good for them either way.)

Could probably be covid (since they refuse to wear masks) but I'm thinking it could also be the weather change, since its a lot colder in Montana than it is in California, I sometimes come down with colds when the weather gets colder too.Carissa wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 1:08 pm I think this is the third time she's claimed the little ones have had colds since they returned to Montana. Sorry, I don't understand the oils? How are they supposed to work according to Neysa and others who use them for sicknesses etc? Is it like breathing in the smells that is supposed to do something?
Re: Epik Brandons - Maskless in Montana | The Epik Life | Part 4
Neysa believes that they absorb through the skin and “get inside the cells and clear toxins” or something like that. You have to remember that we’re working with low intelligence and a sophomore year of high school education. There isn’t much critical thinking or scientific knowledge.

Thanks! Oh yes I certainly do keep that in mind it's insane how many oils she has and how often she talks about them, for years now.MelE wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 5:30 pm Neysa believes that they absorb through the skin and “get inside the cells and clear toxins” or something like that. The oils are probably their only steady source of income now.imoverit wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 12:18 pmThanks! I feel like she said something about "free radicals" in an explanation once. So it's obviously Very Scientific.MelE wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 5:30 pm Neysa believes that they absorb through the skin and “get inside the cells and clear toxins” or something like that.
