Phil and Alex part 3: Go fund our lives and a bio child.

the 90s called they want their outdated baby names back
Re: Phil and Alex part 3: Go fund our lives and a bio child.
I actually mostly like these people but have to be in the mood to watch them. The things I really can't stand and came on here to mention:
1. The whole "we were pregnant with twins" debacle. You were NOT pregnant with twins. You had an abnormal egg that split due to being abnormal.
2. The way Alex talks and pinches her fingers together I find INCREDIBLY irritating.
3. Alex's high pitched voice when talking to the girls, the way she repeats EVERYTHING the girls say, and the way she thinks everything they say and do is soooo cute and clever and that everyone else should think so too. Like I am a parent and yeah I love my kids and think they are amazing but I also know I am pretty biased. I don't expect everyone else to think so too.

They are soon becoming the most obnoxious YouTubers out there, as far as “ A family channel”. They have NOTHING but clickbait, and they’re holier though. Comment below on your affirmation!!! LOL!!!

This is my thing. They built their channel based on IF, adoption, and IVF. So people who are going through those things are likely to be a large part of their audience. A lot of their behavior and the way they act and how entitled they are makes them look like jerks.
The amount they gave out a few months ago, the average family in the time they had created Love multiplies could've easily come up with that money to give out. They had investors and they've said they've been using it as a form of income. Which is fine but when you only give out 1K grants to two families and you've financially benefitted more so than the people you claim you want to help, adding that you've already said only a portion of the money they raise actually will go to those families, there's something wrong. Notice how they have done crowdfunding campaigns for each adoption or IF treatment they've done? But claimed they saved 1 income for 2 years? That would've been enough to afford both adoptions without panhandling online. But then they didn't for this one. Which makes me think that they got the money from Love Multiplies.
Going way back they even submitted a video for the IVF grant. 2 kids, already having done the IVF to fertilization process.
Then their most recent video they did about IF and they said if someone wanted them to adopt their baby while their pregnant would they agree to adopt that baby. They said yes. Any sort of respect I had for them ended right there. So many families have been waiting. Some trying for longer than these two have been married. This is what strikes me as odd with their starting their "Love Multiples" they act like they care and want to help others but don't see some of their decisions as selfish. They've (Phil) have even said that this year was like they didn't have kids at all. How nice is that for Callie and Kinsley to see when they get older?
Re: Phil and Alex part 3: Go fund our lives and a bio child.
Totally agree with you. I'm still waiting to see what this non-profit business amounts to. It seems to have been going for an awfully long time with not a lot to show. They are always talking about how excited they are about it but then I can't really see what there is to get excited over.eab424 wrote:Lukie_73 wrote:I actually mostly like these people but have to be in the mood to watch them. Looking back at how so many other foundations and nonprofits are run, they don't have people quitting their jobs to run them in their infancy. Immediately profiting from donations. And Obviously more so than the people it claims they want to help. In one year only giving $2,000 and they've used it as an income. So it's obvious they profit more than anyone. Their con artists.
They started yet another youtube channel, So that makes their vlogging channel, Phil and Alex too which I think is some sort of a product review channel, Alex's personal channel and now they started another one for Love multiplies. So that's 4 channels they have.

Re: Phil and Alex part 3: Go fund our lives and a bio child.
I rarely watch now, just read the comments on YTMD. So over the top, like other comments, I feel so sad for Kinsley and Callie, when they are older, and have to sit through family vlogs, poor little things.
Re: Phil and Alex part 3: Go fund our lives and a bio child.
I get so tired of her dramatics. She needed to change out her estrogen (? I think) patches, instead of going to the bathroom, she has to change the patches out right there on the main floor. They are now putting just 10 minute videos and have not a lot of content to them. I also thought it was mean how she made Kinsley feel sad that they were leaving. She just did it to try to prove how much her kids love her and want to be with her all the time. I think the kids are showing signs are being spoiled. Kinsley is old enough to know when mommy or daddy are talking to not interrupt. The last video they bring in a chair that was given to them and immediately both girls start jumping on the chair. Growing up, I was taught to respect furniture and not jump on it. I turned off against them when Phil left his job (voluntarily or fired) and she rarely seems to be working as a NICU nurse to create this non-profit Love Multiples. I keep hearing that big things are to come, and all I've seen was $2000 has been given away. I don't think you should be collecting 2 full time salaries from the non-profit to give $2000 away. If smells fishy to me.

Alex posted on Instagram that today was Transfer day. Looks like they ended up transferring 2 embryos.

I think that’s the right call. Hopefully at least one sticks. And if not, and don’t get me for saying this, this IVF obsession will be over quicker.Ellmae wrote:Alex posted on Instagram that today was Transfer day. Looks like they ended up transferring 2 embryos.

I doubt these two will take. I believe her and Phil can't have kids due to genetic abnormalities. They refuse to test the embryos due to beliefs or maybe enjoy all the drama it has created. Phil has major infertility factor and Alex can't carry due to her body attacking the embryos. If they do have a baby they should buy a lotto ticket. I feel so sorry for Kinsley and Callie.. because this pregnancy and baby will be put on a miracle jesus pedestal for life. They totally will be shut aside. Alex pregnant is going to be a nightmare.... clickbait titles, clickbait miscarriage titles and she will treat being pregnancy as a disability. Also good luck being a mom of 3... she sucks at being mom now.

Re: Phil and Alex part 3: Go fund our lives and a bio child.
I find it so ridiculous how Alex takes to her bed and naps all the time during these transfers. I’m almost 30 weeks pregnant with awful braxton hicks - but I have a child to raise and shit to get on with. Her daily naps with the twins that never existed uss to irk me too
Re: Phil and Alex part 3: Go fund our lives and a bio child.
how pathetic was she in a instagram stories, brushing her hair, like that took all her effort. She's on bed rest, not on her death bed. Then Phil acting like he's exhausted taking care of the kids all by himself, when he takes care of them all the time and he doesn't work so stop the dramatics.
Re: Phil and Alex part 3: Go fund our lives and a bio child.
Before I've compared my ex-sister in law to Alex. But even my ex-sister in law didn't milk her transfers for all their worth. She took it easy for that day but resumed normal activities the next day. Alex's parents come for the prep and stay for weeks after. It’s laughable when neither one have a full time job. I can't imagine choosing self-imposed bedrest over my kids. Now imagine they do have a live baby after this just imagine how they'll start treating Callie and Kinsley.
Completely agree with you Carol and welcome. They started this non-profit back in August 2017. And in the last year or so they've done a whopping 4 transfers. 3 of them they started go fund mes for. They've also been caught in lies about their finances. Which are a personal thing but when your constantly online panhandling when you both could have gainful employment in two very good jobs to me that's very sketchy to me. They lied when they claimed they did not do any online fundraising for Kinsley's adoption. There was one and it was before they were on youtube full time. They actually did a video about fundraising and flat out lied that they didn't have any fundraising for K's adoption which to me was hard to forget since it generated thousands of dollars. In all the crowd funding sites they've gotten 30K in donations alone. That doesn't even include what their church might've given them. Chances are they did get donations that way. Then they also tried to enter Ellie and Jared's IVF contest. When a ton of families with no children who've been trying for longer than Alex and Phil have known each other (I watched some of the entry videos) and Alex and Phil already have 2 it really made them look like selfish assholes. /
They truly feel like they have it bad. They don't realize how good and easy they have it. They're constantly "woe is me" attitude, And actually said this year has been like as if they had NO CHILDREN AT ALL. I also think there’s something wrong with the embryos, A lot of men who have the fertility issues Phil has truly cannot have children even when they find sperm to use, because the sperm is defective. I question their sanity continuing on with a pregnancy that has no heartbeat and has not grown by 7 weeks. Ask your OB. By 7 weeks they should’ve called it. And while it is a crazy thought I believe they continued on for material for their channel. I’d give them a pass but the fact is Alex is a nurse and knew. Their own doctor tried to tell them. Their doctor even told them it wasn’t twins and they included this on the video yet they still try to claim they were going to have twins. If that’s not crazy I don’t know what is. I also think it’s interesting and this cannot be explained away why they did so many crowdfunding campaigns before, but now with this one they didn’t. But then they have “Love Multiplies” and admittedly they’ve been taking a salary before the non-profit was out of infancy. I believe love multiplies has financed this transfer. And Alex even mentioned they might do IVF again if they run out of embryos. I believe they now have 1 left. They also are so fake when it comes to “how much they love the girls” I don’t have any doubt they love them, but when it comes to loving them as a parent that’s where it gets iffy. They constantly put in this “we love the girls and if this is it for us we’re happy” but it totally doesn’t mesh with what they show 98% of the time.
They smell like a fish market.
As far as their dramatics? They've been overboard since the thread for them was originally started. Very beginning of their channel.

Re: Phil and Alex part 3: Go fund our lives and a bio child.
Like I said in a previous post, I generally don't watch them. Occasionally I watch them on Hook Tube, but tend to turn off well before the end. I had little help with my three, and a psychotic husband to cope with, no parents living near. Alex seems to have her mother around a great deal, it must be embarassing for Pam's friends to see the videos! My Mother and Father waited six years to fetch me from an adoption agency. I watch Derek and Liza, and they really have had a roller coaster ride with their failed adoptions, but now thank goodness they have Eloise.
I agree that Kinsley needs to be taught not to interrupt, strange as Phil and Alex are very firm about other things.
I wish them well, but they really are a pain, and need to grow up.

I do not watch them anymore. I just keep my updated here. If those embryos will stick, I will probably resume watching. At the moment they are unbearable. I still follow them on instagram and I find myself skipping over their stories. every. single. time.

It's outdated medical knowledge that you need bedrest after transfer. I would probably not go run a marathon afterwards, but you could definitely chill around the house and not act like you're post op.

A million people have said this in the comments. Her doctor has been giving them questionable advice from the start and after the last “twin” debacle, I would not trust that lady one bit. Alex loves her because she tells her what she wants to hear (like you’re still pregnant...with not one but two babies! When she clearly wasn’t).Sweetiebee wrote:It's outdated medical knowledge that you need bedrest after transfer.
