Other than Traeger Brandon can't cook a single thing. Not saying Mindy is a great cook either but she can at least feed them something of nutritional value.
It's not helplessness though. It's theater. The bumbling dad routine brings views, and we all know that attracting views is always foremost in Branden's mind. I am sure that he is perfectly capable of throwing together a quick breakfast, but that wouldn't be any fun.

What’s wrong with toast or cereal? I havent “made” my kids breakfast in years, they get it themselves Image
Thats exactly what I mean. Breakfast is simple and they could easily get the kids to make it.

There's mindy asking again for gift ideas for her boys (I am sure she already has her matching outfits and presents planned out until 25 for hazyl)... maybe if she stopped buying them big ticket items and clothes just because throughout the year she wouldn't have to ask...

Hazyl, Krew, Ryler, amado, and then poor Brexen...you can tell they just neglect him, everyone is ready and put together for their pictures and brexen is just on his pjs...I feel so sorry for him sometimes

And then she'll vlog them writing their letters to Santa and loving fans will send them what the kids are asking for. Image

And Ryler is getting way too good at that fly catcher open mouthed "I am so surprised!" look. He does it in almost every freaking thumbnail now.

In fairness I think that’s the birthday order, they have a bunch in the summer starting with hazy then krew then ryler then madi then brex. Definitely not favoritism order because ryler is for sure the second favorite before krew

It's definitely birthday order. Branden, Hazy, Krew, and Mindy are born in July (2nd, 17th, 22nd and 29th), Ryler is born on my birthday August 15th, Madi is September 30th and Brexen is November 6th.

Is the phone they got Ryler weird to anybody else? If you don't even give kids a chance to have a normal smart phone when they finally do get one they'll probably go overboard with it and get addicted. Idk it's always felt a bit odd to me how strict Mormons are with phones because it's like they don't trust thier kids. One of the issues they always bring up is that they can't get any inappropriate pictures but when I was his age I didn't even think about hat being a possibility because my friends and I were nerds I guess.

It basically is! I’ve seen lots of ppl use them. It’s actually a good idea. Because you can take your mask and have it around neck and worry about putting it down some places dirty. Around me lots of school kids have them.

My kids (13 & 11) have nokia android phones. There is a parent app that you approve the apps they want to download, can set bedtimes and wake up times (this can vary for weekends), set an overall time limit for each 24 hrs, find out their location, see exactly how much time they spend on each app, lock their phones immediately, have the phone make a sound if its missing etc all from my iphone.

Its called family link. Its amazing. We have been a strictly apple iphone family but this tech made me switch our kids to androids for that reason.

Our schools requested them as well. I think they’re great. My kids just slip the mask off when it’s lunch time and they won’t get them lost or soiled.

I definitely think he’s old enough to have a phone.
If he’s old enough to be out and about without his parents he’s old enough for a phone. If he’s old enough to babysit his siblings, he’s old enough to have a phone.
If your child is going to have a phone then you teach them how to use it. You outline what you see is acceptable use of the phone and you trust them to do use it appropriately.
You don’t give him a phone which will prevent him viewing certain images etc. If he really wants to do that, there are other ways he can. You teach him about why he shouldn’t do it and how it is disrespectful to girls and women. Education is the key here - not just pretending an issue dues to exist.
Of course at his age, it is your responsibility to monitor his usage of the phone. So, you give him the phone in the full understanding that you will be doing so. You give him rules and boundaries and you trust him to use the phone accordingly and you check that he is doing so.
Your child is afforded the privilege of having a phone and they learn important lessons about trust and how to respect it.
As they get older, your monitoring of the phone use becomes less.

I just think that if Ryler is old enough and mature enough to babysit his 3 younger siblings he's probably old enough to have an actual phone. I mean he already has a tablet and a Chromebook I just don't see how either would be much different from a smart phone. Plus the kid has an Apple watch too.

It says a lot about their subscribers. These idiots give more money to them on a normal every day YouTube live. The fact that they gave less when it was going to charity is sad.

I think it’s important to note that a large portion of this family’s following is children, therefore they are unable to donate. Also people that live internationally or miss the live wouldn’t be able to donate (i believe you can’t donate after the live has finished). I may not agree with everything the family does, but i must admit my respect and tolerance for them increases every time they donate and give back to the community. I know this is a snark site but it’s just not right to bash them for the faults of their viewers.

I admit to being really moved when they did the massive Costco haul for the women's shelter - it was very well thought out and well planned (kind of made me think that the planning of it was done by someone else, or someone else had major input into it?). Most of their other "giving back" type stuff seems to be more about content + views (+ therefore money for them though).

The thing is though. They vlog every single time they donate, therefore making money on the vlog content which would more than cover the cost of the donation.

Its dodgy. If you donate that’s brilliant, no need to do it publicly like they do. Standing at a supermarket handing out cash while vlogging it is gross. People accept the money and therefore end up in their vlogs.

Genuine people who give/donate dont need arsepats from teenagers
