I remember all the times mindy would mention that even 7:30 am is too early for her to wake up. Shed be so upset. My guess is that since she had to take him to swim 2 or 3 times a week, branden did the other days, she said to quits with it.Grabba the Donutt wrote:didn't he come close to being injured and quit?
Whether that was his decision or Mindy's is anyone's guess but I'd imagine Branden would just think he was a stud (yes I know he loves his kids but I think he can tend to place epic radness above safety sometimes).
Also, injuries = views, so I'm more leaning towards it being Krew's decision.
Oh, and another thought...the swimming and the organised sports...now that Branden is around more of the time, perhaps having a regimented schedule gets in the way of vlogging.

They said in a live feed a few months ago that they were pulling him from swim this summer because of all their planned trips...Kveni wrote:I remember all the times mindy would mention that even 7:30 am is too early for her to wake up. It's so ridiculous. Why do youtubers take so many vacations? They don't work hard. I don't care what they _say_. Filming your kids, slapping a video together with some music and uploading it to YouTube is NOT "hard work".
Please.

Thanks for letting me know, but unreal they'd do this.
Idk they've lost me with all their craziness as of late. I was an avid watcher but then with all the flimsy spending and trips, not to mention ditching madi, I was out.

Ditching Madi really ticked me off. Even here, people were saying it was no big deal. But I have a daughter who was rejected by her stepmom. I know Mindy isn't rejecting Madi necessarily, but she booked the trip to New York when she KNEW Madi was going to be there. Not cool. That has to have hurt.

Re: This Is How We Clickbait | TIHWB | Part 2
Do you think they have the money to buy mcmansion? with all the holidays and things they waste money on - their house isn't going to sell and leave them enough to upgrade without a bigger morgage and do banks in the USA lend to youtubers who don't have a fixed income (surely it would be easier if Brandon still had his day job)lmmomSD wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 10:30 pmOh, I give them 6 months tops before they are in a McmansionSnarkySam wrote:they have only been back a day and they are already mentioning they can see into the new neighbours kitchen cue the return of daily complaints about the neighbours house and how close it is.

Re: This Is How We Clickbait | TIHWB | Part 2
If they were so bothered I don't know why they didn't buy it like they were saying they wanted to for so long. Since they were talking about buying it to add to garden space I will assume they would have been permitted to leave it unbuilt on like the previous owners. If they had said they'd looked into it and they wouldn't have been allowed to do so I'd have totally understood that, but they said they talked about it and decided not to buy because adding the vacant lot as garden wouldn't make financial sense for resale value.
That's the bit I don't get. They were saying the cost of buying it wouldn't be recouped if they bought it and added it to their property as a garden as they planned. Well what would have stopped them selling their existing patch and the neighbouring patch as two separate lots when the time came?
Those houses are ALL crammed in tight, did they really think nobody was ever going to buy that plot and build on it? Right up next to them, like every other house is squeezed up to another around them?

Re: This Is How We Clickbait | TIHWB | Part 2
Oh, but _they're_ special! They deserve to have an open lot next to them to use as extra yard space and not have another house close to them, without paying for it. And to whine about it when someone buys the lot and builds on it.
They probably can afford a Mcmansion. They're making loads of money right now according to Social Blade. And that doesn't even include brand deals and sponsorships, merch and the money people send them during livestreaming (which really ticks me off-- they shouldn't be accepting cash from people). With the number of vloggers buying fancy houses, there is some way of getting around the whole "steady income" requirement that banks have.

I'm thinking they just didn't want to pay extra in property/school taxes for the land. At that time before YouTube they probably had a much tighter budget and maybe couldn't find a house they liked with a bigger yard in their budget....Now with the $$$$$$$ rolling in like crazy their thinking has changed and they know they can afford something even bigger.

Yep and I'm sure Brandon is always thinking of new ways to increase their brand and try different ventures. I wonder if they will get a TV/Movie deal? Maybe Mindy some kind of book deal? Remember how the Shaytards daughter Emmi is on James Blunt's album Some Kind of Trouble? That must have been a huge kind of deal for them and for Emmi too.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 7:26 am Oh, but _they're_ special! Yeah, I gotta give Branden credit for his hustle. He's obnoxious and gets on my nerves, but he hustles. Unlike Tyson Gardner, Branden seems to get out there and try to get brand deals. And he enjoys his kids.

Re: This Is How We Clickbait | TIHWB | Part 2
Branden is by far, definitely a wonderful dad and husband. I would have given anything to have had a father like him. Hell, I'd give anything to just have a dad period. Mine physically and verbally abused my mom, tried to kidnap me twice (one time he went to the school I was in and tried to take me), he never paid a penny for child support to my mom, he would stalk my mom at her work's garage, the list goes on and on..... (all this was in the '70s, before abuse laws became so strict).
Yes there are very snarky things to say about these Ding Dongs but Branden is a wonderful dad. I have to respect him for that.

My one complaint about Branden as a dad is his continued pimping out of his kids for a living. And their utter lack of use of any kind of safety devices like helmets and knee pads, wrist guards etc, when his kids are being rad, savage and epic on their bikes and scooters.
But yes, he obviously loves Mindy and isn't likely to be trolling Instagram looking at half dressed young girls, and he loves his kids and enjoys spending time with them.

They said a doctor told them that most of the injuries he sees are from playing on trampolines; they outnumber everything, and that's why no more trampoline. I can see that for sure.JD386 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 11:38 am Wait. They won’t let their kids go to those trampoline park places but they owned a trampoline? And let their kids do back flips off of docks? And ride motocross? And ride scooters and bikes and rollerblades and hover boards without helmets? Yeah, y’all are really aware of safety arent you?

Re: This Is How We Clickbait | TIHWB | Part 2
It's still hypocritical to say that they're all about safety and not have the kids wear helmets. Trampolines may cause more injuries, but it only takes one bad spill (or as Branden put it "sick face plant", like he was PROUD") to change everyone's lives forever.Desert_Princess wrote:They said a doctor told them that most of the injuries he sees are from playing on trampolines; they outnumber everything, and that's why no more trampoline. Re: This Is How We Clickbait | TIHWB | Part 2
WE WERE IN THE STEPHEN SHARER "JUMP IN" OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO!
Saw this today and had to turn the sound down. Branden's constant yammering is just TOO MUCH. He talks so much he trips over his words. He interrupts Mindy constantly. I love it when they go shopping and Mindy burns him with a sarcastic comment, he doesn't care for it and I love it.
So I started watching Dan and Chelle's channel. I thought she would be all over the place because that is how Branden depicts her, but she and her husband are surprisingly chill and their videos much more relaxing for ME to watch. Just a nice surprise. I enjoy them as I am into photography and travel too.
