I just saw Shaylee's most recent video yesterday and I don't look at her instagram so I didn't know about the latest firing. I think Shaylee and David are idiots and shit parents but they are finally making some sense when they decided to let go of worship ministry as a career path. I think their social media presence as well as their weird personalities never made them a great fit for most churches; and it sounds like worship ministry doesn't provide steady work anyway.

They should continue to grow Shaylee's channel; I think she is hitting a niche which resonates with many obese women (both Christian and non). As an obese atheist(!) I actually can appreciate what Shaylee is trying to do. Although I don't agree with her sense of style, I like the fact that she is putting herself out there trying on clothing from stores that many people shop at. It's a good message for obese women. I skip the Christian stuff but I'm sure many people appreciate it. And unlike David, Shaylee seems to provide a steady income from her youtube and instagram.

So they should find a low-cost place to settle and stay there! (How many times have they moved since Eden's birth!??!) Shaylee can focus on her social media with David's help. As for David, I dunno. Maybe he can dig ditches or do fast-food for his career!

Ok.. I get the body positivity. I really do as a plus size woman. BUT why does David have to mention her curvy body every time??? It's like he is trying so hard. I truly don't think he does love that she is plus size. I'm sorry but I'd hate for my husband to mention being curvy. Why can't he just say "I love my beautiful wife!"?

My thoughts too. I don't hear any husband constantly saying things like that. "I love my thin wife!" "I love my curvy wife!" It's not a thing.
Just say "I love my beautiful wife!" Or "My wife is beautiful!" Or just "I love my wife!" .

Her husband is so creepy and weird. He’s cringey and obnoxious anytime she records him. And I think couples who constantly post about how amazing their spouse is and how great their relationship is are extremely phony. I don’t know what to think of Shaylee. I kind of like her, but she’s weird. I watch her videos, but mostly for the cringe lol!!!

She posted recently that they separated a couple years ago and probably won't share the details bc they are too painful/personal. Just don't say anything then.
These two are the creepiest creeps I've seen on social media. Her husband is disgusting and makes me wonder why they've been fired from church after church.
And you all are right they are both absolutely trying to talk themselves into loving each other. Him with her plus size body and her with his weird creepiness. Poor kids always look so unkempt and ignored.

She also doesn't take any sort of constructive criticism the correct way. She is very defensive, which says to me: no Shaylee you are NOT comfortable with your body if you have to post every single SS of anyone saying something that isn't kissing your butt.

She’s in a wheelchair because her ankles hurt. Didn’t she have problems with her legs going numb a year or two ago? She had posted about wanting to lose weight when that happened.

Sorry not sorry but carrying extra weight is hard on your joints and bones. That’s just the fact of it. I’m not. It’s shaming but her being that size, is stressful on her joints, especially knees and ankles.
If she lost weight she would definitely see some improvement with her pain.
