Re: Tannerites/YAWI
But if they're moving to isolate the kids for vlog content, they really blew it. Because the filming that would focus on the kids is going to pretty much be demonetized come January.

I don’t know why the move came so quickly though. I’m suspicious of johnnys motives for sure. I wonder if it has anything to do with all the drama surrounding the court case and his criminal record. There never seemed to be a conclusion to all of that drama...

Re: Tannerites/YAWI
So in today’s video they went shopping for Lizzy’s birthday presents at night, on her birthday. Completely last minute, no thought at all put into it! And in the day before video she cried to her parents at the end of the day because she hadn’t got to do anything she wanted for her birthday. How do people treat their kids like this?! Birthdays are special, should be celebrated to make the child feel loved and celebrated!

It used to not be like that. This whole home schooling thing is too difficult for them to manage. There’s clearly a problem if the kids aren’t finishing school until 5-5:30pm.

Is it just me or is Branson's hair always looking really gross and messy as if he doesn't take care of it at all !?

The littler kids (savannah, az, canyon) had more sense to make Lizzy feel special on her birthday than their airhead parents!!
Also, why did Allie say “woohoo! Let’s do something illegal!” When Johnny mentioned that she would be 18 in an hour? That reaction seemed odd to me... In the US, there’s not much you can do legally at 18 that is illegal at 17, so I don’t get where she was going with that.

You can buy cigarettes, porn, lotto tickets, canned air, glue, cough syrup, animals, and in some states sell booze.

Re: Tannerites/YAWI
I'm not sure which vlog you were referring to, but Johnny was saying that she can't doing illegal once she is 18 , so if it was on a Lizzie b-day vlog, she was still 17. I assume he believes this because you are prosecuted as an adult once 18, which is really terrible parenting. Killing someone at 17 is just as morally wrong as killing them at 18. I get the impression that Johnny only follows rules if the consequences are extreme and obvious. This is the guy who thinks driving 120 mph isn't hurting anyone if he doesn't see other cars.Lolislol26 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2019 3:50 pmMelE wrote:The littler kids (savannah, az, canyon) had more sense to make Lizzy feel special on her birthday than their airhead parents!!

Also, is anyone suspicious of the fact that they skipped a vlog day, doubling up on Lizzie's birthday footage? Hiding something, or taking a day off?

Re: Tannerites/YAWI
I think it shows how their hearts are... how empathetic they are to things. They want their sister to enjoy her birthday, so they made it special for her... especially Savannah, with the scavenger hunt. Even Canyon's "necklace/puzzle, was sweet... and Az is just a kind little boy in general. I hope that Johnny doesn't break their spirits as they get older!MelE wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2019 8:03 am The littler kids (savannah, az, canyon) had more sense to make Lizzy feel special on her birthday than their airhead parents!!

I think the reason Allie said "let's do something illegal" was in a joking way, because she'd be able to be charged as a minor for a bit longer. But, then that's just how I took it.

Re: Tannerites/YAWI
I missed that Savannah arranged the scavenger hunt, that is really sweet. I assumed Sarah arranged it, considering that was the only thing planned for Lizzie at all. They are truly awful parents. Have they always ignored Lizzie's birthday? It seemed like they only squeezed in a late night shopping trip because she was so disappointed/upset. Even then they got her one toy (unwrapped) that they pressured her into picking quickly with a countdown clock. I thought Daniell was the hated child, but she was gifted a car long before she could even drive.ThisIsMeCeej wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2019 4:42 pmI think it shows how their hearts are... how empathetic they are to things. Allie got a car last year, and it was pre-planned to take her out to dinner and a play this year. She also got party streamers, friends over for lunch, petting puppies, etc. They had to stay up until midnight just to manage a last minute birthday gift and a couple of cupcakes with candles for Lizzie. The most exciting part of the day was those little promotional cake boxes with the butterflies that they didn't even pay for, or seemingly pick out, since they had no idea the butterflies would fly out.
Thank god for her younger siblings. I still find it weird that a 9-10 yr old constantly thinks of her 7 yr old brother getting married and having children. The first wish she could think of was that Az be blessed with many children....and Savannah was jealous that she didn't get that wish!

Re: Tannerites/YAWI
If I remember right... last year for Lizzie's birthday, they took her to Walmart and had her pick out her own gift, and then took her to a dinner just Johnny and Sarah... and then gave her a hard time cause she had a hard time choosing. But, maybe it was Savannah? I remember she got a barbie... and it was Outback steakhouse I think? If anyone remembers? But, other than that... they didn't do anything special like they seem to for the other kids. Like I think Savannah got a party with her friends in the basement or something... Az and Canyon had parties, Allie had the outdoor movie party and I can't recall Daniell's.Kattiness Everdeen wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2019 1:20 amI missed that Savannah arranged the scavenger hunt, that is really sweet. I don't think they were from the parents either... Sarah seemed surprised at them, and they read from "Dad".
It is weird... I never thought about getting married or anything until I was in my teens... but, I guess all the talk about Branson getting a wife and such, it's in their heads.

I think Johnny is one of the most inconsiderate, arrogant and irresponsible people I’ve ever met (that I’ve never actually met lol) the fact that they all think it’s “funny” that Branson got a speeding ticket, that Johnny has gotten several, Sarah wrecked two cars before she was 18 (I could have misunderstood the age part), they let Daniell drive illegally, etc.
They have all seemed to say that moving was a big mistake- even if they were just joking.

Re: Tannerites/YAWI
I remember for past videos they birthday child went to Walmart and picked out a toy and then to dinner with Johnny and Sarah. Once they got home the other kids gave them their present. I remember they would lump Lizzie and Allie together because their birthdays are two days apart. I also remember them getting Daniell a mini fridge and Dr. Pepper. I’d be pissed if I were Lizzie.

Re: Tannerites/YAWI
I feel that Lizzie gets the short end of the stick when it comes to birthdays. They made a bigger deal about Allie's birthday, almost like Lizzie was an after thought. I do not understand why the parents don't take the little kids shopping to get their siblings real gifts rather than just homemade pictures.
Re: Tannerites/YAWI
Cos it's an extra expense esp. if you have that amount of kids!callie73 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2019 6:47 pm I feel that Lizzie gets the short end of the stick when it comes to birthdays. We only have 2 kids, some years we give them $20 to buy the other one a present for Christmas or for their birthday. Some years we don't if money has been a bit tight. When they are old enough to have a job or get a decent amount of pocket money, I'd be expecting them to use their own money to buy gifts.
They don't seem to try keep things even for their kids at all. Some kids get well thought-out expensive gifts and others get to choose 1 thing at the store as an afterthought. Or like the year Az got a bunch of water toys. One they were a promo from a company so cost them nothing and 2, they were for all the kids to use so not even a real gift!
Re: Tannerites/YAWI
No, money can't be the reason, they take them to the dollar store for Christmas gits, they could have done that at least or even walmart and picked out a $5 gift. they just bought new furniture and re did the school room, money can't be the issue, they spend plenty of it, they just spent like almost $200 at taco bell.Bekkaz wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2019 8:14 pmCos it's an extra expense esp. if you have that amount of kids!callie73 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2019 6:47 pm I feel that Lizzie gets the short end of the stick when it comes to birthdays. Their new house is 750K, got rid of the majority of their furniture, left a TV and their washer and dryers when they moved among other things to purchase new ones.callie73 wrote:No, money can't be the reason, they take them to the dollar store for Christmas gits, they could have done that at least or even walmart and picked out a $5 gift. they just bought new furniture and re did the school room, money can't be the issue, they spend plenty of it, they just spent like almost $200 at taco bell.Bekkaz wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2019 8:14 pmCos it's an extra expense esp. if you have that amount of kids!callie73 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2019 6:47 pm I feel that Lizzie gets the short end of the stick when it comes to birthdays. If they can’t afford for the kids to pick out a nice birthday gift for a 10 year old then they should not:
a. be having kids
b. have moved
c. took Allie to Habatchi (roughly 20-25 a PERSON)
d. took Allie to a play
e. got cfa catering for Allie’s birthday lunch on top of the tb.
f. All of the above + more!!
Re: Tannerites/YAWI
i'm just getting around to watching Allie's birthday vlog.
Johnny: "In our house, the birthday boy/girl is always in charge of what we do"
Also Johnny: "Since Lizzy didn't get to go out for her birthday, she gets to tag along"
Made me so mad! I get that Allie was turning 18 and that's a big deal, but to a little kid, 10 is a huge deal too!
And what's with Johnny trying to pimp his kids out once they turn 16? He's constantly pushing Branson to find a wife and now he's pushing Allie toward that boy who came over for her birthday. It's just strange and honestly, creepy. Doesn't Daniell turn 16 this year? It'll be interesting if they let her go out and date or if they'll keep a tight rope on her. She has been deemed the "troubled child" after all.

Re: Tannerites/YAWI
Of course aggressive Johnny thinks he is king of the world. Branson trying to get his bag from the back of the plane since their was no more overhead room(and they checked their bags at the gate since it was a full flight and no more room for bags) and someone told him to get out of their seat when he was trying to go against the river. Johnny said he was a jerk when the guy was walking by. Um it’s not AGAIN all about YOU. Other people have to make their flights too. Maybe you guys should of put your small bag under the seat if you wanted to be able to get the bag quicker and be off the plane.
This guy has crazy anger issues about other people. Surprised no one has beat his ***. Little punk!
