Two questions from a newbie

First question for any old-timers here....How do I delete triplicated response? I replied to a member,got a message saying something about ' cannot parse'...happened again on second attempt,then ended up with three same replies posted?

Secondly,I got logged out very quickly..i.e., within ten minutes..think it happened yesterday too..is there a way to prevent this happening?
