Maybe it's just me, but the toilet in the "laundry room" (for me it's a bathroom) would keep me from even thinking about buying that house. So weird to intentionally build a house like that.

I'm at the scene where Jared is talking to the dr and I want to scream at the scene - tell your wife to quit saying dumb things to him and maybe he might go #2 on the potty. Remember her I was scared after I had my babies, etc. Ugh..The thumbnail is insane. It goes against everything they supposedly believe in. I live in the Midwest and it's not uncommon here. My parent's had a bathroom/laundry room combo in their old house and our basement has one too. I think it's funny so many of you find it weird. It's plumbing in a house, so it makes sense to me.

I'm thinking they had no intentions of ever selling the house, or at least not in the near future, so they made everything custom to e+j. Regardless, it's a poor choice in terms of resale value because it is not something regular homebuyers look for. And taking down walls so there isn't a toilet in the laundry room, and instead a separate half bath, is an inconvenience and expensive. Not good resale value, at all.

I'll probably never get over the fact that they just HAD to have a toilet in the laundry room. They built this huge beautiful home, but they didn't like the small half bath, which is fine, whatever, but they have PLENTY of bathrooms in that house, so why not do away with it completely and build a nice big countertop to sort/fold laundry? Or leave the half bath and put a countertop in. Sitting on the floor to sort laundry can't be what she had in mind when she was designing her luxury laundry room just for her. I swear the only reason they did that stupid toilet thing is so people could constantly exclaim how weird it is.

It's either distended from starvation, or she may actually be pregnant. I've wondered since the IVF giveaway (because why else would Ellie give away the supposed savings for it) and expected an announcement at Christmas. I'm sure she's not, but her pelvic area definitely looks odd in that pic.
