She didn't care when Wrinkles died either. Most if us here were far more upset than Ellie was.

Continuing the crepe pan saga, this was Ellie's reaction to Sam telling her that the pan isn't worth it.
*Stamps foot" "I wanna do it the way I wanna do it! Jared-- get me the stinking pan!"

Do crepes even fit on saucers?

I guess flipping crepes in a pan without letting them stick to the ceiling isn't the right experience then lmao

She'd better order an encyclopedia

I was watching Meet The Millers and Boden got a baby doll, Derrick was talking about how it’s ok for boys to play with baby dolls and how “Tender” Bode was with his baby. Oh lord, it made me giggle.

The experience? But isn't a crepe pan just like a normal pan only flatter on the bottom and with lower sides? You make them using pretty much the exact same "experience" anyway...

She wasn't asking about a crepe PAN, if you make crepes a lot a crepe pan is a handy tool. She was asking about a crepe MAKER, which is a separate appliance JUST for making crepes. I'm 100% certain that an actual creperie chef would never use one.

When she says "experience," I'm sure she's thinking "vlog content."

She's 100% still going to buy one despite Sam saying they weren't necessary.

But yes, you're right. There's no experience. A crepe maker is just an electric griddle that's a circle. The experience is no different than making them in a pan.

I know. I scratched my head at that too. The "experience" of pouring batter on a round electric griddle? Wow. So fun!!! It's probably on her bucket list, along with the deal with Huggies and visiting a lighthouse. Not making fun of the lighthouse. That is the only reasonable thing she's said was on her list.
Edited: guess I was too slow on my snarky response!

The spreader is all she'd need to feel fucking fancy. But a whole flipping crepe cart.. You'll need a side hustle in a few years boo

Oh, they had a brand deal with Huggies, and she posted about it on IG, saying that it was a "bucket list item checked off".

I remember the first time I made crepes with with my grade five French teacher. The woman was from FRANCE. We didn't have a fancy crepe maker, but the experience was still meaningful :)

Now, that's cool, and definitely qualified as an experience.
But wanting a special pan just "for the experience", is weird. Next she'll need an ebelskiver pan "for the experience". SMH. So wasteful.

Ding ding ding ding!
Also part of the experience: one more thing that takes up countertop space that you'll use maybe 3 times a year and that will end up at Goodwill after that. Goodwills are FULL of waffle makers, popcorn makers, sandwich presses, ice-cream makers, bread makers (I got mine there and use it twice a week!) and all other uber-specific appliances that people don't need. Ever consider why?
