I was just watching Boonie's Tea Party video, and on their way to the Tea Party Ellie is in the back seat installing/ adjusting Tommy's car seat while they are moving... Why would she not do this before hand?

Our yard isn't fenced in and the kids always use the backdoor. So I put a sign on it if my kids can't play. That way it saves me from seeing their puppy dog eyes and caving lol

A 3 year old should not be walking down the street unattended. Nothing “at least” about that. People used to have fits about Bonnie letting her kids play alone outside, but when Ellie started doing it somehow it seemed normal. Nothing normal about a 4 year old being in charge of a 3 year alone, outside and walking down the street.

They probably thinks its ok because Utah has the free range parenting law. Kids can now roam the streets alone. I just cant wrap my head around letting 3-5 year olds wander around a neighborhood alone. 7-8 year old is pushing it too, but usually at that age they are more alert and aware at what is ok and what isnt. I honestly couldn't let my 4 year old run around the nieghborhood alone!

My son is nearly 6 and I wouldn't let him walk down our street alone

My daughter was just watching a Super Nanny episode where the three year old was walking down the street by himself. Jo gave the mom a lock for the door. Calvin and Jackson are both too young to be walking around the neighborhood by themselves.
