Fix those kids hair for crying out loud.
Those kids are going to look back on photos and be like "Why would my mum let me do that???"

Funny enough a lot of the stuff she says is "homeschooling" most parents I know do with their kids who still go to school or have more traditional homeschool. Taking your kids to Lego Land, the library, science center, walks, the play ground etc is normal stuff to do with kids - it's not like they're special super cool vegan homeschoolers because they do it.
Re: Chloe and Beans: Long Hair, DO Care! - Part 4
I'm assuming if she mentioned it was a homeschooling day she meant they had their homeschooling group and were at their natural habitat, I mean, the shops afterwards.Lyanna wrote:Thanks!
So where was the homeschool stuff in this homeschool day? ...I bet Montessori would be horrified to see that people who don't know anything beside fast food, shopping and wandering around call themselves montessori homeschooling parents.
I find it funny that once Chloe made a big song and dance about not taking a piece of free fruit for all the kids at the shops since she has so very many kids she felt guilty doing so. But no qualms about getting all six kids HUGE free burritos, haha!!

I've noticed most homeschooling parents say this, they act like kids who go to traditional school never get to do these things. Chloe's "teaching" is minimal during these outings anyway, no more than a non homeschooling parent. "Do you like it?" "That's cool" "Are you having fun?" etc etc. non questions.DoodleBop wrote:Funny enough a lot of the stuff she says is "homeschooling" most parents I know do with their kids who still go to school or have more traditional homeschool. I was reading the comments on the vlog and someone asked why their hair was like that. Someone snarkily commented that the hairdresser ran out of time haha! But one of Chloe's Defenders stepped in and claimed because they wanted it and also "it's a popular haircut in Australia". I'd just like to set the record straight: this the Land Down Under, not the Land of Poorly Done Undercuts.

I've been living here since the day I was born and have never seen a kid with those ridiculous haircuts... is there another Australia I don't know about?ShudnaB3 wrote:I was reading the comments on the vlog and someone asked why their hair was like that. I have never seen someone with hair like theirs. I have seen people with one or both sides shaved back in like 2014 but it didn't look as shoddy and awful as Evan and Ottos. I wonder where the Chloe ass-kisser they got that information from- oh wait it was probably Chloe aka the queen of spreading false information to make herself look normal.ShudnaB3 wrote:I was reading the comments on the vlog and someone asked why their hair was like that. They also act like kids who go to traditional school don't interact with anyone outside of their age range or people within the community.hellcatspangled wrote:I've noticed most homeschooling parents say this, they act like kids who go to traditional school never get to do these things. Now if she did lessons based on the places they went even if they were not work sheets that would make more sense. This whole learning from their environment business literally means whatever they can glean from the science center themselves is what they get out of it and that's it. They'd have to take it upon themselves to do any sort of extra reading. Although they don't seem to go to the library for the kids to pick out books every week anyway....which you think would be the staple of home schooling we're going to these places this week. Let's get books based on those topics this week. Oh this holiday is coming up...let's read about the history of this holiday...see no work sheets.
I dread to think if one of the smaller four aren't as good at reading as Evan & Otto....what if they aren't as capable of osmosis what if they can't learn by being drilled endlessly about numbers or shapes....will Chloe be willing to admit she has to change her teaching style\seek outside help or will the kid simple suffer even more so if it's Henry or Rufus.

It's the triplets due date today. It's good she's bringing awareness to them being preemies.
As for their delays the only thing I questioned is why they WAITED to start speech therapy. She says they were told the kids were doing fine but it doesn't mean speech therapy wouldn't have helped why wait for them to test out as being delayed. Maybe when they were babies they couldn't afford it but they could pay for weekly private speech therapy if they didn't buy weird overalls all the time. Although I bet if if she'd have fought for it being preemies they'd have qualified for some services.
