It looks like they had a registry office wedding though which can be quite scaled back if wanted, civil weddings don't need to be basic you can get married in a beautiful castle with personal vows etc .doggymayday wrote:
Well, no offense, but you don't really do much with a civil wedding, you just go there to sign the papers.. especially with them, as they already did the dream wedding. They could make a big boom outside the city hall and all, but what's the point, when it's a second wedding?
Also, I feel sorry for everyone who lost a loved on in 9/11, I remember the news from that day, ... but honestly - the world doesn't stop every time something happens in the USA. It's just a date, and there are a lot of unpleasant dates in world history. So I think people really shouldn't make much of it. But if 9/11 is that special, then we could also talk about all the people that died because of it and weren't even on the US soil....
Seeing as they were already having their "proper" wedding in Italy it doesn;t make sense to blow the boat out in for them what was just registering their marriage.
