Why do you guys think Cullen is frustrated about other's YouTube success? Cullen is extremely supportive of other Youtubers (from what I have observed) and often links and shouts out other channels etc. I have never seen him appear envious of other successes.

I personally think it is just human nature to be a little jealous of the success of your peers/coworkers, which is technically what other YouTubers are to them. That kind of competition is healthy and often makes people strive to do better. I guess I can’t pin point an exact moment that made me think, “wow he’s so jealous of so and so” but just looking at other people’s social blade earning predictions and then hearing, I think HS, who said they are predicted to be making 120k (max) so reality is probably less that, a year. Honestly, that’s not a HUGE salary at all. I have colleagues that make close to that and live such a modest life style, doing a stable job with a stable income. I can’t imagine only making that much with a job that is so risky. YT, for them, is not going to last them until their 50s. I give them, at most, 5 more years and that has to be a scary thought. How much can they really be saving for 2 young, young kids and themselves with ~100k a year? If I were them and that was my income and my expected way of life, I would 10000% look at people like Bryan and Missy, Ruby, OKBaby and all those big daily vloggers (I can’t think of any more big family vloggers) and be envious of how their channels have taken off and how much money they are getting. Those channels are making at least 500,000 to 1 million dollars a year. That is a vast difference from CK.

And the tone of desperation he got when they were trying to get to 500K subscribers was pretty telling. He never _says_ it, but you know that when they visit Bryan and Missy, and see their million dollar home and all their crap, he has got to be envious. He started vlogging before Bryan did, didn't he? I don't think he would be human if it didn't bug him some.

I know this may not be very well received by some but I have to say it. Brooks is the whiniest crybaby of a kid I’ve ever seen. I know he’s little yet and I hope he grows out of it. I have to skip forward when he’s in the vlogs because the kid just grates on my nerves. Is it just me?

He is pretty whiney. Not the worst I've ever seen, but not something I'm going to sit through when watching their vlogs. I skip over most clips that focus on him. Once he learns to talk more I'm sure it'll get better, but a lot of it is his personality. So the whines will turn into arguing/protesting with C&K. He will most likely always be a very demanding, opinionated child.

Maybe i'm in the minority, but i think she looks better in the second one than she does in the first one. She looks older in that old thumbnail than she does now. But i also think shes much prettier now than she was on her wedding day .. so..

And how does burgundy coordinate with blue and orange?

Yes, I could see how he could be envious but he does a good job of not showing it if he is IMO. Also, if I was Bryan I would be envious and of C&K's huge house. I can't stand Bryan's house myself.

After watching some old vlogs, i don't think Katie's self confidence issues are anything new. It's been discussed lately about her hair, and in one of the videos i just watched last night she had gotten her hair done and it was on the darker side. Cullen told her he like it and he thought it looked really nice, and she jumped in quick "but i know you like it lighter! I'm really worried you don't like it!" He told her he thought it was nice and that he really did like it, but that yes he does normally like it much lighter, and she immediately said she would change it back blonde the next time. Another video was a tag video.. i think it was a Sweater Weather tag or something like that.. anyway one of the questions was about lipstick colors (i don't know the exact wording) about darker lipsticks in the fall. She says she doesn't really like dark lipstick on herself, but on others it looks nice. Cullen chimes in saying he likes darker lipstick on her sometimes. Katie says "Oh i guess i need to get me some darker lipstick then.." and looks very worried at the thought of it. They go on to talk about eyeliner or something after that but it really got me thinking.. I don't think Cullen pressures her into the hair or makeup or clothing she buys, but i do think that she takes everything he mentions about how she looks too heart. I've never heard Cullen say anything negative about the way she looks, and i don't think that he expects her to do anything other than what she wants to do with her hair or whatever... I really think Katie is very very insecure with herself and the second Cullen says he likes or dislikes something she runs with it to make sure she looks exactly like how she thinks he wants her to look. To me that really makes me think that she has always worried about not being good looking enough for Cullen. I can totally relate to that as i've said before. It has nothing to do with anything my husband says or does (in the sense that he, nor cullen (that we see anyway) tells me what i can and can't wear) but it has a whole lot to do with me being insecure in my own skin. I do style my hair the way i like it and wear what i want too, which i think Katie does as well, but i think she also puts Cullen's likes and dislikes above her own. I don't think that's really a bad thing in most cases, but it really shows how insecure she is. I guess the best way to put it is if you don't like or are not comfortable with the way you look then you project what others like about you on yourself. If you don't really love a certain hair color on you, but your husband says it looks really great, then I would 100% get my hair done that same way again even if i didn't love it. Just bc I'm insecure with my appearance, i never really think anything looks great on me, so if someone else does (it doesn't have to be my husband either..) i will go with it. I don't think it' a big secret here that she isn't 100% happy with the way she looks, but it was surprising to me, looking back at old vlogs, that this wasn't a new thing for her.

I watched their pumpkin spice video. They kept going on about how things didn't taste like pumpkin. They aren't suppose to taste like pumpkin. They've flavored with pumpkin spice. Pumpkin spice has no pumpkin flavoring.

I was just thinking the other day how tough it must be for especially Katie to not think "jeeesh kid your sister was stringing multiple words together and was so easy at your age." I remember being amazed by her ability to fly everywhere with them at 1yrs old without a complaint from C&K regarding her being difficult. I could be forgetting though....was she whiny?

At least i remember her being pretty whiny, but maybe not as bad as brooks. I know she seemed to be scared of EVERYTHING and would start crying when someone she didn’t know would come close to her.

Wow, that is interesting. And sad. She has always been pretty, and I think Cullen totally married up with her. He had that awful bowl cut, and looked to me like he belonged on the cast of "Dumb and Dumber". I know that is harsh, but man, his hair was bad. She's got so much going for her. Too bad she doesn't see it.

His hair was so bad, but back in the day it was such a popular hairstyle. I hated it then as much as i hate it now. He looks a MILLION times better now. LOL
I do think it's sad that she feels that way as well. Sad, but 100% relate able.

no she definitely looks better in the latter, but it’s crazy she changed that much. She looks unhealthy in her wedding IMO, but I’m not a doctor so it doesn’t matter my opinion.

Yes I do remember Gaines being like that. She always had to be within arms reach of Katie or Cullen, or she'd be whining. Brooks is not too different than she was at that age, and she's a pretty great kid now.
