Okay i used to fight like this with my ex husband so i understand a lot of people do this, but it was horrible and just made things worse. My now boyfriend would never put up with that. And thank goodness because it made me learn to handle our fights and disagreements in a much healthier way. We did have fights in the past where I yelled at him but he will not yell at me or say mean things ever. Name calling and saying stuff like that to someone you love is disrespectful IMO. But i know how hard it is when you are angry so i understand why it happens. I just dont think its necessary and should be considered normal.

She said that he calls her a bitch, how is that dramatic. Name calling is a big no go

You hit the nail on the head. The fact that people do this doesn’t mean it is normal. Those kinds of fights don’t happen in a healthy relationship. If you’re fighting like this your relationship isn't healthy.

I didn't remember everything she said in the video and I'm not condoning his behavior if he really talks to her like that at all. I'm just saying her saying "you're the meanest person ever" and blah blah blah. whatever it was she said, was probably exaggerated. i doubt she actually thinks that. that's being dramatic during an argument. not blaming her for anything she said, but that's what happens when you're upset. you sometimes exaggerate the way you feel.

I might be in the minority here but I see what you’re saying. Based of what Kyra has told us, it seems like she does have emotional issues that she needs to work out in therapy and Oscar needs to learn how to communicate better with her.

I didn’t see it as a cry for help because I don’t see Oscar being violent towards her but I do feel like their relationship has some serious issues, and having kids and YouTube has a job sure makes it worse.

I feel like everyone is forgetting they are young still. A lot of fights when two people are immature can be more dramatic than they really are, it’s a matter of them both needing to grow up.

This 100%. Kyra is pretty dramatic at times, and when she's upset, she's going to say whatever she can to hurt him. When Oscar tells her to get in the car, he doesn't even sound angry anymore, just frustrated and tired of it, like she pulls that stuff all the time. Honestly, it sounds like he told her he didn't want her to do something (he says, "the fact that you couldn't even respect my--" then she interrupts and says, "I told you I was going to!" so seems like she did it anyway, he got angry, and she's mad that he's angry at her for not listening to what he wanted her to do, and then there's a fight.

He's not even really that engaged in the argument until she says "you wanted to hurt me" and then he speaks too quickly for me to understand, but it seems like he objects to that idea. Then she's just trying to make him feel as bad as possible by calling him names "you're mean. no one ever hurt me as much as you hurt me." That's the type of bullshit people say in fights. Not every word people say in arguments when they're upset and emotional is true.

Honestly it is normal for 2 people who have communication issues. They are not shy about their issues. They have said they want to look into couples therapy because they both have anger issues that escalate the fights. They weren't punching each others lights out & the kids werent with them so I think everyone just needs to drop the whole thing and let them deal with it.

How do we know the kids weren't with them. I dont want to be rude to you but honestly, every bad thing about them you seem to want to brush under the rug. We are here to gossip and now we actually have something serious to talk about and you want everyone to not talk about it?

If Oscar did say the things that kyra mentioned in the video, then he is emotionally abusive and it is not healthy. It’s just like people who are in relationships and have an online affair. No, that person didn’t physically cheat, but they did emotionally cheat. Saying that he isn’t physically abusive because we didn’t see him hit her, doesn’t mean he isn’t abusive.

They definetly should go to therapy. I completely understand why they are fighting so badly but I think it's crazy that so many people are defending them and saying it's normal because everyone does it. Just because it is common doesnt make it okay. I had extremely emotional issues too. I had borderline personality disorder for a long time which screwed me up emotionally, but it was getting way out of control so I realized i had to get help and change how I reacted to get better. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do but it has made my life and relationships 100% better. But anyways enough about mem I do hope for the best for Kyra and Oscar.

If I am wrong then I’m more than happy to own up to that.
I've seen soooo many people accidentally go live on Instagram...Jaclyn Hill did it a month or so ago & it was a really really bad angle of her while she was walking down the street talking to her family. It happens more than you'd think lol, I've done it in class before too

hoooly shit.. Last time I popped in here a random person wanted people to vote for her baby or some shit.

This is insane! And NOT NORMAL. I can't believe so many people are defending this! If he really is that mean to her (the meanest anyone has ever been???) then she needs to nope the fuck outta there. We can tell in their vlogs that they have a rocky relationship, so I'm not entirely surprised that this is what it looks like behind the scenes.. and yet, it's something else actually seeing it. Horrible for the kids because I'm sure they've witnessed it a number of times..

Earlier in the day Kyra had said to someone on twitter Sydney was there to watch the kids while they were running errands. I'll try and find it.

Maybe Oscar feels resentful towards her. It seems like moving to Utah was all her idea. Oscar seems happy in California. They have nothing in Utah, a house that's it. Maybe he should go to California for a few weeks to figure out what he wants to do, Kyra already half ass takes care of thw kids and other responsibilities, so it's not like much would change.

This is my best interpretation of all that was said with them both speaking over each other.

Kyra: Stop, when will you give up
Oscar: When you, when you--
Kyra: When do you realize this is the mother of my children, I'm so fucking mean to her. I treat her like dirt.
Oscar: Oh yeah, right.
Kyra: You do.
Oscar: I've been nothing but nice to you and the fact that you couldn't even respect my simple, I literally asked you not to--
Kyra: I told you I was going to!
Oscar: --but I'm not gonna do it because you my dad like I don't give a fuck, I don't give a FUCK, like why don't you understand that?
Kyra: I've never had somebody be so mean to me ever in my life. Ever, ever.
Oscar: Just close the door, then.
Kyra: You're the meanest person I've ever met
Oscar: Just close the door then, no, it's so--
Kyra: You're the meanest person you don't even care, you're so heartless, you're like "I hope this hurts you, I wanna fucking--
Oscar: I don't, it's not that I hope it hurts you--
Kyra: --"I wanna fucking rip you apart. I hate you". That's what you think. You hate me and want to hurt me.
Oscar: Oh my god, get in the car.
Kyra: No.

She hates the cold and the snow and he loves it lol it was more likely his idea. She seems happier in the summer.

Yes yes yes. Fights happen, sure, but they seem to have blow ups like this OFTEN. Not to be too personal here, but someone close to me had fights like this with her boyfriend pretty frequently after a year of being moved in together, and it eventually progressed to physical abuse. They were both hard headed (like O & K are) and never wanted to compromise with the other (also like OK). IM NOT AT ALL ACCUSING OSCAR OR KYRA OF BEING ABUSIVE AT ALL WHATSOEVER, but I'm just saying that I would probably be seriously reconsidering my relationship if I was swearing/screaming/crying/threatening my significant other like that on more than one occasion. We all know this isn't the first time it's happened between the two of them, and it for sure won't be the last. I hope they figure it out before it progresses too far (whether that be to break up, or get counseling, etc). I would never want to fight like that with my boyfriend as often as Kyra makes it seem like they do...it'd be emotionally exhausting and damaging IMO.

If he treats her the way she was saying, its not healthy. If she was being dramatic and saying those things to hurt him, its not healthy.

Either he is emotionally abusive or at the very least treats her like shit, or they need to learn how to fight and have disagreements in a mature and healthy way.

This is a bit of a broad statement to make. I'm the same age as Kyra, and my boyfriend is nearly 21. I would leave his ass so fast if we had arguments like that, and he'd do the same to me if I ever lashed out as crazy as that. It's unhealthy, not just a matter of being immature. Immaturity is when you don't trust your s/o with dumb shit like being able to go out with friends, etc NOT saying "you're a bitch" or "you literally hate me, you're the meanest person I've ever met". They're just flat out in an unhealthy relationship, especially considering this isn't their first time hashing out their problems like this (i.e. the holes in the wall of the last appt).
